This is a top notch hotel bustling with great vibes. The bar has fantastic cocktails and atmosphere...busy but relaxing and lively. The Junior Suite was fantastic and service was outstanding. The water in DC is odd, so we were thrilled that they gave us water bottles each day. Only issue was street noise, but that comes with a busy area in any state. Loved this place and location was fantastic!

Another great visit to The Dupont Circle Hotel - Irish hospitality in the heart of DC. Food in The Pembroke was very good - recommend the branzino and side of mushrooms. Cocktails looked great but didn’t partake this time. Efficient, friendly service. Will be back!

The property itself is beautiful;,however, parking was $50 a night for valet, the room walls paper thin, you could hear everything in hallway and within the rooms, also no refrigerator or microwave in room but if you request one they will roll one up and hook it up for you. Keep in mind this is bulky so get all aesthetics pictures prior to requesting this.

Clean, spacious with friendly service. It's in the perfect location among a very walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants. It's also 2 minutes from the red Metro line. Extremely pleased with our stay.

The biggest pro about this property is the Location. DuPont circle is known to be a very nice, convenient and safe area. There’s nearby metro station where you can get to anywhere . Lots of dining options around in this area. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The biggest con about it is the shower: extremely weak water pressure and the bottom of the shower isn’t properly clean. You can see brown spots and slimes on the tiles. The toilet seat is also pretty outdated/old that it already has yellow stain on the seat cover. We didn’t feel clean taking a shower due to the weak water pressure. Also, the bathroom design is kinda odd that it is not entirely separate from the main room. The bathroom door is not closed completely so you can hear and smell everything. There’s also no vent in the bathroom so if you want to air out the room you’ll have to open the window. Overall this place is a solid 4, other amenities are decent and the bed is comfortable.I just can’t see why it would get a 5 on google .

Not a 4-star hotel, let alone a 4.5-star hotel. The faux-leather couch in my suite had stains of either the beverage or bodily fluid type all over it. Which also means that housekeeping doesn’t regularly wipe down the surfaces… So, they sent housekeeping up to try to rectify the problem; the housekeeper tried to explain that these were just water stains on the couch. At which point, I then had to borrow the maid’s cleaning spray and cloth to demonstrate that these stains could be removed with elbow grease… to be clear, guests should not have to clean their own rooms at a purported 4-4.5 star hotel… The bathroom was a gross, mildewed mess in all the grout and shower joints. Water stains on walls from past leaks… I shudder to think about what a black light would reveal at this hotel… I also stayed my first night here in a regular King— the cheapest available—and they put my in a room with paper thin adjoining walls; I was up the entire night because of the neighbors’ coughing and talking—and they were not being loud or anything. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU PRIZE CLEANLINESS OR QUIET.

Lovely five star hotel in the fascinating DuPont Circle area of DC. Wonderful service - cleaning or refresh twice a day (needed as the shower setup of half glass wall with a break where a short door is lets water get into the floor and toilet). Service prepares the room for night and provides ice. Very helpful desk and porter at check in who ensured our luggage got up to our room while we waited about 30 minutes for the room to be ready. Easy valet parking (pricey but well done). Comfortable bed. Stocked mini bar. Only downside is the room is best for one traveler- really set up for a business traveler. The bathroom area is in the room itself except for the shower and toilet, meaning when one person gets up at night the light and sink noise will wake up the other person. Also the bathroom glass door does not keep sounds inside.

Be sure to ask for a room other than above the restaurant. We had to ask for a different room after one night as the smell from the restaurant below was extremely strong and unpleasant, at all hours of the day and night. Double room is extremely tight for 3 adults.

Lovely boutique feeling hotel with great rooms, superbly comfortable beds and bedding, friendly helpful staff and lovely breakfast. Only complaint it that rooms above the bar/restaurant patio suffer from very loud noise from below despite the double glazing. I was promised by the manager it would subside after 11pm but it went on until around 12.30am.

I’ve stayed at the Dupont Circle Hotel many times over the past several years as it has become my favorite hotel in Washington, DC. Its location, a five minute walk from the Dupont Circle metro station, is fantastic; its rooms are quiet, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean; the staff is helpful — check in and check out are fast, and its restaurant and bar are first-rate. I even now want to check out the Doyle Hotel in Dublin, based on how terrific the DuPont Circle Hotel has been!

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and always thought it was wonderful. However, my most recent stay (just one night) was disappointing. I arrived at around 1 pm and was told that no rooms were available, despite being an Expedia 'VIP Access' member. I understood that this perk only applies when there is availability. I waited for an hour as instructed, and they offered me a drink voucher, but the Doyle Bar, where drinks are served, was closed - something that didn't used to be the case. After an hour and a half, I returned to the reception and was told that no rooms were available at all. I decided to go out for lunch and wait for a call from the hotel, as promised. However, I wasn't called until 4:00 pm, so I returned to the hotel. At 4:20 pm, Alejandra at the reception told me that my room was being repaired due to an issue, and she sounded sarcastic when she mentioned it. She reminded me that check-in is at 4:00 pm, despite it already being 4:30 pm. Finally, they gave me my room, and Alejandra told me that I had been upgraded, but my room seemed to be the standard classic room I had experienced before. The next morning, I ordered a cappuccino through room service, but it arrived cold after 40 minutes. I ordered a new one, but it never arrived (at least they didn't charge me for it). I believe that something different is going on with the hotel management, it has probably changed.

My favorite place to stay in DC. The staff are always amazing. So friendly, professional and attentive. I did experience a few negatives this time. No room upgrade was offered and was supposed to be. I also had to ask about my Expedia VIP bar/restaurant credit. Slow on getting ice; wish I could get my own. One beside lamp didn’t work. But I will still be back! Can’t beat the high end service and location.

This is a beautiful, centrally, located hotel with an extra extraordinary staff. The service was especially kind, not solicitors, just the right level. Bellhops Paul and John were especially helpful. The outdoor seating area is comfortable, hip, and very relaxing.

Great location. It is in a busy area, so expect street noise. Room was reasonably spacious and VERY clean. Mattress was soft to the point that it sagged with two people. Bathroom was large and also VERY clean. Note: There is no door to the bathroom so you are in full view of the sink while in the room. It was fine for a night, and I very much appreciated the cleanliness and space, but the soft mattress would have made a longer stay less pleasant.

Staff is great, courteous and attentive but room service quality turned a terrible frustration. As from other stays, ordered breakfast, horrible. It could easily be enhanced. Any coffee shop around the hotel would serve better quality bread, pastries, etc. Omelete is something not acceptable in any place. A not fresh apparently from a boxed egg mix with a gross gummy spread inside, total lack of creativity or respect for a hotel this level. It was a total deception. Croissant like supermarket cheap package, toast was burned not even tasted like sourdough. I challenge the manager of the hotel to eat it and then go to any even small nearby shop to have a greater quality. Had to go outside in a nearby offee shop to have a minimun proper breakfast

A great property, fun and wonderful staff. Great customer service. The bar is a fun place to hang out. Great food but I wish the menu has more options to offer. Be aware of your bill. Check if someone charged food expenses to your room. It happened to me but the front desk handled it very nicely and compensated me for my breakfast for the inconvenience, even though I didn’t ask for it.

We stay at your lovely hotel often. We love the service and the overall vibe. The only complaint is regarding the lack of COFFEE!!! There should be coffee 7 days a week starting at 6am please. We called for coffee to be brought to our room today at 6:30 but the front desk said that they don’t show up until 6:30. Ugh, we had to leave to catch our flight, it was disappointing and also, the coffee counter near the Pembroke is too slow and not available 7 mornings a week. Also, the tiny coffee maker in our room was way too small, like an espresso shot each, totally small and insufficient. Please up your coffee game!!! Thank you!!
