Tons of construction right now, which starts as early as 8am. The GM said it would be done by the fall, so I would wait until then. Otherwise, staff and accommodations were nice.

I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel was under renovation and it was very loud at times. The hotel only allows valet service ( no self parking) which I understand, but the system took a long time. The flow was not that great. The valet attendants were very friendly, but they seemed understaffed in contrast to the number of guests who needed valet. Nothing against the staff at all, but the hotel needs to hire more people.

The property was close to the Capitol Hill building and to some museums. This property doesn’t have an onsite parking which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the room had no microwave which was a bumper when needing to heat up food. There is a Fire Engine Station across the street which was unsettling due to midnight sirens. If you have infants or toddlers like us, beware. The hotel interior was great and had a good ambience with a bar and restaurant in the center of the building. The staff was good and we had no issues with the services.

The lobby and other parts of the hotel were being completely renovated. Tarps and temporary plywood walls all over the lobby. The floor my room was on was shabby. the heating in my room wasn't working (it was 68 degrees in the room) and had to be fixed by an engineer. WOW - paid a bunch for a lousy HILTON.

Rooms clean and very spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant surprisingly good. Hotel lobby is under a big renovation but they are working around it fairly well. Convenient to Capitol Hill area. We would definitely stay again.

I won’t go into all of the issues but only the most important to me. Cleanliness. The rooms were really gross. The boxspring around the base of the bed was filthy. The floors were sticky - and they’re carpet. The towels (all of them) smelled horrible. They had a “burn” smell as if the dryer nearly caught on fire. I’d rather smell too much bleach to be honest. However, the staff are amazing. From front desk to wait staff at the restaurant and the bartenders in the atrium bar. Really outstanding. Just fix the cleanliness issues. On our last night someone vomited in the lobby and they just put up a “wet floor” sign. C’mon. Do better. Thanks for allowing me to share.

We were very excited for our trip to DC. This hotel was expensive at $700 for 2 nights. The hotel lobby was under construction when we arrived. Rooms were dingy and dated but we were OK with it as it was close to Union Station. The morning we were checking out we found cockroaches coming out of the closet. We told management. The most they offered us was a free continental breakfast. Who would want to eat breakfast at an establishment where they have cockroaches in their rooms. Very gross and very disgusting. Disappointed with how Hilton handled this situation. We will be staying elsewhere next time.

Nice building with a lot of hidden dirty and broken spaces. My room was dirty. It seems like someone just checked out of if The carpet was very dirty. The staff is very prompt and helpful. Beds were comfortable. It is very convenient

It was a nice stay over all. However, they have a rodent problem around the bar area. There were 3 running around. I was able to capture one on video. It has to be a problem for to hold your camera up for 28 seconds and record it running around. When we alerted the bartender they reacted as if it was normal occurrence and shrugged their shoulders. If they fixed the rodent problem or acted as it was a serious problem they would have gotten 5 stars.

Mouse in the house While we were eating lunch in the restaurant on the property, we saw a mouse was running around on the floor. The staff just ignored our concern. The staff at the front desk were not friendly or accommodating. We were charged $20 for a few hours early check in. However, when we had to leave a day early because there was medical emergency of a family member back in home; they refused to refund any money for not staying a night there. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Nice large room, but the bathroom was amazing: counter space on both sides of the sink makes it easy for two people to be there at the same time. Towel bars - never seen TWO towel bars in a hotel. And extra shelf space.

I know that this property recently changed hands, but I felt it lacked certain common amenities, most glaring being a TV system that only offers an automated rolling channel guide with most of the programming missing, and zero streaming apps (picture 1995)

Heater was not working. Had to call for maintenance multiple times. They arrived after 2 hours after first contact. Maintenance person said he just turned off the air conditioning so it should work. It took the room another 2 hours to heat up. The next day after we went out and returned, it was too hot. Now the air conditioning didn’t work. We were not going to wait around to contact maintenance and wait for them again so we just turned it off completely and dealt with it.

Rooms are outdated and small, and there was no mirror located over the desk for hairstyling. There was only one worker at the front desk late at night, and that person, nor housekeeping was available to provide additional supplies to the room. This hotel is too large not to have adequate personnel late at night or at any time during the stay. It is otherwise a good location and convenient to Union Station.

While my stay had a few service hiccups—such as no hand soap upon arrival, a safe that initially didn’t work (but was promptly fixed within 30–45 minutes), and some housekeeping oversights—the team was responsive when I reached out. Special thanks to the gentlemen at the door, who were always welcoming, and to the lunch staff in the restaurant, who provided excellent service. With a bit more attention to detail in room preparation, this would have been a flawless experience.

Room wasn’t ready almost 4 hours after check in time and no one seemed to know what was going on or how to solve the problem. Apparently hotels are allowed to check you in anytime they can without consequences but if you stay 2 minutes late the will charge you a fee for sure.

The property itself and the staff were awesome. They were kind, considerate and tried their best to accommodate our needs. The room was pretty clean (it needed a good vacuum around the baseboards, and they are updating it - which is great. The area around the hotel is a little scary. It is close to union square which attracts some questionable people - we encountered a homeless lady who was waving around a knife - and E street had a lot of homeless characters as well. It was fine for the most part during the day, but starting around 6 PM on, it’s a a little sketchy.

The hotel was excellent and was walking distance to the train station/metro and the Capitol building. It is a bit longer of a walk to the Mall and major sites (5-8 minutes by taxi) but the staff was always able to hail a cab in a very few minutes. The fitness center was small but nice. There is no pool.

No vent in the bathroom, service was slow and erratic, crumbs found in my bed the first night. Closet space limited . Not bcc enough pjj Li aces to put things in the bathroom. Generally not up to Hilton standards. Brunch was expensive and worse than residence inn. Limited food choices. No room service Ugh!

Staff was great and friendly. Food was excellent. Room was awkwardly shaped corner room that had poor lighting and the window view blocked any sunlight, but was in a good location near elevator on the 3rd floor. Everything was clean. I had selected sort hotels by those which included breakfast, but breakfast was extra. That was a little surprising.
