Clean room at a great location near the White House and also steps to trains. Free bottled water on all floors and coffee in the club room on floor 2 are a nice perk especially considering the reasonable cost.

Decent hotel that is very conveniently located if you're flying into DCA and looking for a place to stay downtown (the entrance to the blue line Metro, which runs directly to DCA, is literally right next to the hotel). The hotel itself is fairly spartan with no real lobby to speak of and relatively few amenities. But the rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Perfect for short-term business trips or tourist visits if your primary aim is to be out and about most of the day seeing the sights. Definitely not the sort of place where you can invite friends or colleagues to meet for you for a drink at the bar, however, because, well, there is no bar, or much of anything else for that matter, besides guest rooms.

We loved everything about it. The front desk attendant was very nice. Made sure we’d received the parking discount and went through all the hotel’s amenities with us. We had a room with a great view, and lots of space. We loved that each floor had fresh water bottles and water to fill/refill them. The lounge area was quite nice with lots of room. The ability to push a button and have freshly ground coffee (Americano, latte, cappuccino and so much more) was quite nice. For the non-coffee drinkers, they do offer a variety of teas. The gym looked nice, although we only used it for the vending machine in case you don’t want to pay for the room snacks. And for those of you who want to know about safety, it’s a wonderful neighborhood, felt very safe. It was in walking distance of the touristy places, including the White House. And I always love hotels the require key cards to use the elevators and get into the hotel after hours. Great place and will be booking here for my monthly trips to D.C.

Hotel was clean and updated. The room was roomy and comfortable. The hotel is literally next door to the metro which was very convenient!!! Our friends in another room were disturbed by street noise but we didn't experience that. I do wish we had been aware there is no way to pull up to the hotel to drop luggage.

The hotel is located next to the exit of subway station. White House is very close. The refrigerator had not been cleaned. The room was dark and we could not tell the entire room had been cleaned.

My experience with this hotel wasn’t the best. The check in was horrible. You have to do it in a machine where instructions are not clear and even they have a receptionist, she got mad because she had to leave her desk to come to explain to me about the check in. She was rude, didn’t greet us or at least said Hi. The bathroom shower was clogged with hair from who knows who…. Next to the hotel right outside the front door there is a passageway where homeless seat there and the whole area smell urine. You can smell it right outside the front door. Definitely needs to improve in service, train better their employees, check periodically the rooms and find a better way to work with the city to take better care of the surrounding area.

Property was right next to the metro and is very walkable to monuments, landmarks, etc. The street was a bit noisy, but you have to expect that when you’re staying in the middle of the city. It wasn’t anything crazy to the point we couldn’t sleep. Check-in and check-out can be done without staff interaction and were simple. I really enjoyed the free water refills station on the floor. Bedding had a few stains, but actual room was overall pretty clean. The shower wasn’t the cleanest, as the shower head had some mildew build up and the shower head only had 2 settings for water pressure—super intense or basically nothing. It was a comfortable place for a few nights at a decent price in a very good location.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke, could hear someone coughing next door all night, the bed was on a slope, and overall was just run down. I asked to be moved to another room but was told none were available, so I checked out after one night and was misled by the staff in terms of trying to get a refund. I managed to get something back thanks to the agency I booked through but overall a terrible experience and won’t be back at any Club Quarters any time soon.

Recognizing how expensive Washington DC is, these were still outrageous rates for a very tiny room and very poor service. The maids missed my room once, another time didn’t completely clean it. Every floor is supposed to have complementary water bottles, but instead there’s simply a fountain to fill your own water bottle, which was not working. In addition, they have absolutely no amenities, and even a vending machine for things like toothpaste was out of order.

We stayed only one night while taking in some tours the following day. Great customer service and I had pre-checked in on my phone before arrival. We did arrive earlier than planned and had planned on having them hold our bags, but our room was ready well ahead of time, which was great. The dropping off luggage and picking up there is really no designated spot as it’s the active street you’re stopping on. My husband stayed with the car while I went to check in as reservation was under my name. Bathroom was good size, but the showers are very small. Room is on the small side, but for only 1 night it was fine. Late night it becomes very noisy for a couple of hours and then quiets down. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room either. We travel with a small collapsible ice chest so we had that with us already filled so we were fine as far as cold drinks go. There are a few food locations in walking distance. We did park at the parking garage around the corner and it was maybe a two minute walk. We had no issues parking at the Connecticut Street parking garage.

The hotel was clean but the room too nosy and the AC didn’t cool enough. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, look like all mattress. Honestly it wasn’t the best to be able to rest at night. All street noise and metro was inside the room

If you reserve the cheapest room, be warned! You could get a room without a window. I was not aware of this before booking due to none of the marketing imagines showing these rooms with no windows. I found out by watching a random video I stumbled upon on YouTube. Also, the TV didn’t work and when the “tech” came to look at it, he giggled some cables and said, “I dunno.” I then later in the night fixed it myself. He simply needed to plug in the Ethernet cable and HDMI cable. Hard, I know. Luckily the front desk team helped me out and upgraded my room after showing them that a few days before my trip I reached out via email to inquire about the windowless room and no one followed up with me.

Great location (attached to metro stop entrance) & close to everything! Took metro from airport directly to hotel. Clean, quiet, & comfortable. The only negative was when housekeeping entered my room unannounced (light tapping but no words) at 7:30am on the day of checkout. Great location (attached to metro stop entrance) & close to everything! Took metro from airport directly to hotel. Clean, quiet, & comfortable. The only negative was when housekeeping entered my room unannounced (light tapping but no words) at 7:30am on the day of checkout. The only thing good about this hotel was the free water and it being a walkable distance to the White House. Staff was rude, room was hot, room was not ready an hour early, and then again 15 mins before check in. Had to wait until exactly 3pm. Had to ask for somewhere to stay while waiting because it was raining outside. When thanking the staff he would reply with “mhm”.

My overall stay was good but what really stood out was the staff. I stayed a night by myself and suffered from a migraine. I was completely incapacitated and Myah, a staff member, went to personally get me pain medication and delivered it to my room. What a gem! She saved the day, and I won’t forget how excellent she was trying to help me.

The staff we interacted with were exceptional and extremely helpful and polite! Jamayh and Missy were both accommodating in finding us a bigger and more comfortable room...a beautiful corner room. Erick was instrumental in helping us with a booking issue. He was kind and helpful. Milen helpful with storing our luggage. The Metro was super convenient!

Our experience at the Club Quarters in Washington DC was disappointing in pretty much every way possible. The open, airy room portrayed on Expedia for the room type I selected proved to be a dingy cramped room, in no way matching the pictures. We immediately went down to the front desk to complain, but we were told that the room we booked was the room we got and the fault for misrepresenting the room was Expedia\'s. Over dinner, I booked another room elsewhere. Returning to the Club Quarters, we grabbed our bags and left. On the way out we stopped at the front desk, told the staff that we were not staying, returned the key cards and verified that the $100 "incidentals charge"would be refunded. When reaching out to Expedia to complain, I discovered that room pictures are provided by the hotel (of course!) and that the hotel would not refund our money because "we spent the night in the room." So, take one worn-out hotel that falsely represents the room appearance, add in some somewhat unfriendly front desk staff and then compound the issue with lies and you get a less than favorable review. My wife and I have stayed at some fairly low-end lodgings, but this experience at the Club Quarters set a new low for us *before* the lies. Add in the lies and I am writing a very rare bad review. I suggest you avoid this hotel.

Decent hotel that is very conveniently located if you're flying into DCA and looking for a place to stay downtown (the entrance to the blue line Metro, which runs directly to DCA, is literally right next to the hotel). The hotel itself is fairly spartan with no real lobby to speak of and relatively few amenities. But the rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Perfect for short-term business trips or tourist visits if your primary aim is to be out and about most of the day seeing the sights. Definitely not the sort of place where you can invite friends or colleagues to meet for you for a drink at the bar, however, because, well, there is no bar, or much of anything else for that matter, besides guest rooms.

I have stayed at many places in DC over the decades. It doesn't get any better in terms of convenience in the heart of DC -- the hotel is right above the Farragut West Metro Station! Comfortable, quiet and it has become my go-to hotel in the District. Btw, being on the Blue Line gives it easy access to Reagan National and being on the Silver Line makes it accessibile to Dulles.

We loved everything about it. The front desk attendant was very nice. Made sure we’d received the parking discount and went through all the hotel’s amenities with us. We had a room with a great view, and lots of space. We loved that each floor had fresh water bottles and water to fill/refill them. The lounge area was quite nice with lots of room. The ability to push a button and have freshly ground coffee (Americano, latte, cappuccino and so much more) was quite nice. For the non-coffee drinkers, they do offer a variety of teas. The gym looked nice, although we only used it for the vending machine in case you don’t want to pay for the room snacks. And for those of you who want to know about safety, it’s a wonderful neighborhood, felt very safe. It was in walking distance of the touristy places, including the White House. And I always love hotels the require key cards to use the elevators and get into the hotel after hours. Great place and will be booking here for my monthly trips to D.C.

Ideal location for those who want to be close to almost everything in washington DC. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms a little outdated but adequate. No breakfast provided only coffe machine. If you have a car the only parking is with a close by non affiliated parking garage that will be clised at late night and you can not get your car out until they open at 7 pm. Big problem if you have an early flight or departure.
