Comfort Inn & Suites St. Pete - Clearwater International Airport

The hotel information said it provided airport transfers. After booking the hotel we learned that the service stops at 3PM. Our flight was later than that, so we had to take an Uber. The next morning, we inquired about the schedule for the van to the airport and was told the driver did not show up for work so it wouldn't be running. The shuttle was the reason we choose the hotel, and it ended up costing us over $40 in Uber fees. There was no apology or concern from the staff, and I sent a pleasant email concerning this issue and never heard back.

This is our go to hotel for our annual family trip. Always ample parking, friendly staff, close to access to everything. Although it is by the airport. I’ve never heard airplanes while inside. Great pool a

The shuttle only runs from 7a-3p. These times are inconvenient for the hotel to be so close to the airport. I may not stay there again due to the shuttle service.

Place needs upkeep, run down.Advertised airport shuttle but it only runs 7am-3pm. Would only give 3 stars & not stay here again

Entrance blocked due to construction. Carpet in room dirty. Bedsheets had makeup on them and did not appear to be clean. Premises old and in need of a complete rehab. Pros are that it is very close to airport and staff at front desk were personable.

Advertised to have free shuttle, but it was down for repairs. We had to pay for Uber to get to hotel. Had we known this, we may have chosen a different hotel. Guest services personnel were very nice and accommodating. Our first room had a musty odor and he moved us to a different room. That room initially smelled better, but later noted it also had a musty odor. Bed was very firm. I prefer a softer bed. Pillows were terrible…. Very lumpy. Breakfast was decent.

Every thing that a good hotel should do was done great service. Rooms were clean staff was respectful and accommodating. A lot of time I go to a hotel and the pools are poorly maintained this was not the case the pool was clean and properly maintained.

For the most part it was great however no airport shuttle over the weekend

They front desk staff was very rude and once inside my room there were roaches in the restroom and we were not offered a change of room we ended up having to kill them and throw them away the roaches were very big I could not even sleep I was so disgusted

Property was dated. Carpets were stained and dingy. There was a mold and mildew smell throughout the hallways and rooms.

The staff were super helpful and kind. The place was clean. But there were cockroaches everywhere In the room. You can tell it's an infestation that's been there a while because they are in every corner of the room

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel the need to warn people. First, the positive: the staff were friendly and greeted us with balloon animals for the kids. The location is conveniently near the airport and some restaurants. However, the negatives far outweigh the positives. Location: although convenient, it is right next to a gentlemen's club. Condition: The elevators had missing trim and torn door coverings. The hallway carpets were heavily soiled and needed some deep steam cleaning. There were scuff marks and other unknown marks on the walls throughout the hallways and our room. The bathroom in our room was in poor condition: broken toilet tank lid, missing tub overflow cover, gross and corroded drain cover, and the light above the tub was falling out of the ceiling. The duvet covers had tearing and loose threads. The couches looked very well used, and I had to put a sheet over them to feel comfortable enough to sit on them. Cleanliness: There were no hairs in the bed or bathroom. The toilet bowl did have some spots that were missed during cleaning. The true, literal, horror show started at night. Around 11:00 PM, we found a huge roach on some fries we just finished eating. After promptly killing it, I looked around and killed 6 more. They ranged from nymphs to full adults. There were several more that I saw but couldn't kill. We promptly went downstairs and initiated a refund. Luckily we were about to book at the Hampton two blocks down.

Multiple large roaches in the room and we were moved to a smaller room. Front desk man was very rude for an attitude with my wife then she got upset and he hung up on her. I will repost this to google. Asked to be at least compensated for the first night with no help and handed the general managers card. Desk guy said if we’re not happy we can leave and he will check us out.

Roach infested

I found roaches in my room and asked to move rooms. I was discreet, but the room cleanliness may have been a factor. It seemed stagnant, and not dusted at all. The bathroom wasn't horrible, but could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Would not stay here again

The hotel is not very clean, the room was just average with some accomodations not working (tv and refrigerator bot working) The price does bot reflect the product

This hotel is showing it's age and the cleanliness could definitely be improved. There was several issues with the room, including the bed being broken and would tilt to one side. The shower barely worked and one of the lights in the room would just constantly flicker and not stay on. I will definitely stay elsewhere the next time I am in this area.

Air conditioning was bad. Trying to adjust it was not easy.

The check in experience was nice. The staff member was both personable and professional. The room needs alot of updating. Paint was chipping off the ceiling and walls, the shower wall is brief and the tub area had severe hard water throughout.

The hotel is old. The canopy at the entrance is falling down. Rooms are dated and not proper maintenance is done.

The carpet in the room definitely looked like it needed cleaned or replaced, Im not sure which, we had a living area space + bedroom. The size was great, however the air conditioning in the bedroom did not work as well despite asking to have it checked, and so it was very warm in there compared to the living room space. The location was not quite where I was expecting it to be, I thought it was a little closer to the water than it was but it was very affordable.

The hotel has a very good price, but shower was liking all night, toilet flush slow, air conditioner with a lot of noise.

Bathtubs need to be redone.

Check in with "Nancy" at the front desk was amazing. She displayed professional work ethics not only towards me but towards my family and other guests that stayed at the Comfort Inn. She displayed candor, commitment, & competence. I can see repairs being done on the building, but the positive aura and attitude of the front desk receptionist and employees greatly brought out a pleasant and safe environment for our visit.

They were super helpful. We just got off our cruise, my husband has Parkinsons and he was completely wiped. They were able to get us an early check in which allowed him to rest. Everything was clean and the staff was accomjdating.

Awful front desk service. The man at the front desk upon check-in (believe his name was Ed) clearly did NOT want to be there. Not friendly nor helpful. We asked if the pillows were down-filled and if so, if alternatives were available and he literally looked at us with disgust, shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know, that's all we got"! We have a family member with an allergy so it was information that was needed. We ask at every hotel and we have always been helped (but NOT this one). We returned later to purchase a few water bottles. He asked if I wanted to put it on our hotel charges or pay. I replied 'whichever is easier'. Honestly, I just did not want to deal with him at all but was trying to make it as quick and painless as possible. His reply "There's nothing easy about this place." Wow. Our beds were comfortable; however, after going to take a shower then quickly changing our mind after seeing the tub, it was difficult to sleep feeling confident that our sheets were actually washed properly. The tub was disgusting! Pubic hairs all over. Pictures are attached. PLEASE consider re-training the employees before this hotel is no longer in business.

Courteous staff. They prepared breakfast bags to go for us as we had an early flight out.

I have avoided making this review, but feel it needs to be made. My husband and I were checking in at about 7:30 PM on January 30, 2024. We’re given a key and we walked into a room that was occupied by another person. Thank God, the person in there was dressed and not angry. It was very upsetting. The woman at the desk, Nancy, indicated when we first came back and told her the situation that: “this was not her fault”. I went on to explain that there were only two people here, me and her, and I’m certain it’s not my fault. She then became much more apologetic. I did ask and was placed on a better floor which was much cleaner. The second floor of the hotel smelled but the 4th did not.

Noise all night from club.

Hotel located on an extremely busy boulevard, right next to a "gentleman club" where there is a lot of back and forth. We heard the police sirens all the time. The air conditioning is so noisy that we almost didn't sleep... Not worth the asking price at all!

Breakfast was fantastic, staff was very friendly. The planes coming into the airport made it a little noisy. Water treatment plant nearby had a odor outside.

The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent. Being across the street from the airport, the planes landing can be a little noisy. You can hear them on the 4th floor, but not loud enough that it would wake you. Next door to a "gentleman's club." Behind the hotel is an industrial area. Otherwise, it wasn't too far from decent dining. Our room was very comfortable, and clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall our stay was great! The gentleman’s club right next door was a little off putting but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

Comfort Inn & Suites in located next to Clearwater/St. Petersburg's airport and this hotel in direct path of landing aircraft-sometimes noisy.

The hotel is kept well for its age. The AC was set on constant fan and not auto. The room was very humid from outside air being brought in. More of the last guest not knowing how AC works. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great breakfast. Thanks

Checked in. Got to the room and found the bed linens were dirty. Room needs an overall cleaning. Got another room. The hotel needs a thorough cleaning. Elevator noisy and slow. Breakfast was not ready at 6 am. A place to stay; however, not impressed.

Check in was easy, building and room were spotless, staff was courteous, breakfast was ready on time and was prepared beautifully. I will definitely stay here on future visits!

No shampoo, No body lotion, Carpet stinks, Continental breakfast sucks … no refill of bread or egg scramble or bagels and boiled eggs are half boiled…. Poor mgmt

Very clean, breakfast was good

The hotel was very nice and clean. The check in was great and the pool was nice. The breakfast was very good and many options. I would recommend everyone for this hotel. It also was a decent price.

Everything about the stay was very good! The only negative was that breakfast was over earlier during the week, we went down around 9:30 on Sunday and had a wonderful breakfast we then went back around the same time Monday and it was already over with(should serve until 10:00 everyday or at least leave out some coffee and muffins)

The place was clean but nothing special. They were out of many things on their breakfast: coffee, orange juice, eggs...
