Days Inn by Wyndham Clearwater/Central

The ice machines did not work and the hot tub was out of order. The actual room, property and staff were good and very nice. I noticed the tap water in Clearwater has a funny smell everywhere we went though.

The room was excellent . Didnt like that the hot tub was not in working condition . The area around the rooms and pool was dirty . Trash cans overflowing outside and beer cans by the pool that had been there a while it seems .overall it was a clean room not noisy and was close to a lot of things to do .

We return to this hotel primarily for its location, the pool, generous parking. The oversized windows brighten your room, lots of choice on TV and the continental breakfast comes with delicious coffee. On Down side pool area chairs are dismal at best, one umbrella and in general the hotel in need of renovations. Also overpriced especially on weekends however might stay again if shopping was the focus of our trip.

Nothing unique. Room was very clean but that’s it. Common areas were in very poor shape. Pool was not clean. No towels in pool area. Hot tub out of commission. Breakfast area was ok. Not stay there again. Very tired motel.

We enjoyed our stay, room was nice for the price we paid. Pool was enjoyable. Not too far from the beach about 25 minutes which isnt terrible. The only thing i didnt care about was they only had one ice machine working and the working one reloads ice like every 30 minutes so if someone used it to fill up a cooler and you needed ice you'd have to wait. Which was a little annoying but not too big a deal. I would recommend this hotel to my family or friends.

We booked this property on a whim this weekend. Family trip. We found two roaches in the room. One I killed the second was found in the bed upon leaving and checking sheets for items. I was charged $25 for a rollaway- which wasn’t stated when I called down to the office.. we even had to move it upstairs ourselves. The pool wasn’t working and water was stagnant with oil residue on top. The surrounding properties were condemned or shut down with debris everywhere on the property. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The pool seat broken(2) and ripe out the fabric. The pool decorative tiles in/ around the the pool so dirty (several years),The rail steps moving as is going to go down. Breakfast good but could be better with a scramble eggs. Hispanic lady great in the cafeteria .Overall clean but people drinking beer and smoking in the pol with no control and loud music

Room was clean, but overbooked, no hot tub down for week, pool closed 4 days.

We checked in around 9:30pm. First room the carpet was soaking wet near the air conditioning unit. We moved to the second room. Found stains on ceiling, wall. The mini fridge looks terrible with rust on door. Found cockroach in bathroom. We could see light through the bottom of the door. We couldn’t sleep at all. Too much road noise.

The room smelled like urine, there were roaches coming through a hole behind the toilet the carpet was so dirty that the bottom of my flip flops left black flip flop prints on the bath mat and the top and bottom of the bath mat would have some kind of schmutz on it for the price I didnt expect much but it was next level gross I shouldnt have stayed as long as I did but leaving and getting another room somewhere else would have been a pita

Had to move rooms on the first night (after driving 16 hrs) due to broker router for wifi in first room (I had to work while traveling). We were not advised of this before my credit card was charged. Checking out would result in several days before getting a refund- if one was given at all- and it was 9pm. It was too late and would be an extra considerable cost we hadn't planned for. - We were moved to a smaller room with a lower rate. I was advised I would be credited the next day and I would receive an email. I am still waiting for the credit back. - Rooms smell terrible and so do all of our belongings. - Bottoms of white socks are now black since the carpet is so dirty. - Black mold on walls - Chipped paint - Clogged tub drain - Sink barely spits out water. Could be bacteria clog- wasn't going to wait to find out - The room is damp and all of our stuff is too. - Attempted to tough it out - Discovered bathroom is too gross to even use for a shower- so we showered at the gym. - Keys did not work when we returned. Front desk person did not have us registered in the room we were actually occupying. - Housekeeping was in our room when we returned while I had the do not disturb sign on the door. - Immediately packed up and checked out - Notified front desk of issues and request for refund and credit from room change. She advised the manager would have to address it tomorrow. Still waiting for the refund owed for room change

It was fairly clean but our room had a nasty damp smell.

There was a strong odor upon entering the room. Cleaning solution? After lying on the bed for an hour or so, I rolled over to see a cockroach walking away from my pillow. We were charged for the night and the remaining 8 days were canceled. I better not lose the receipt because my itinerary still lists the full charges!

The check in lady was nice. But the room was disgusting. There were bugs flying all around the room. It smelled musty and the sheets were NOT clean.

Good luck finding a better place for the $$. And just a stones throw from Ruth Eckerd Hall for a concert. Yes, its an older hotel and you have to put a towel under the aging front door. However, I had a very clean room (THANK YOU!) with a huge big screen TV. A super-friendly front desk staff (Happy Birthday!) at check-in and even friendly staff at check-out. Add to that a delicious sausage gravy & biscuits hot breakfast with lots of other options available as well as hot coffee. My car was parked safely in front of my room as well. Very close to the Original Hooters for a few pre-show ice cold drinks in a friendly atmosphere.

The room was plenty big. The bed were comfortable and the linens clean. The washer and dryer situation was unusual and difficult. I really enjoyed the breakfast situation, especially the Tang😁

A/C didn’t working

The room smelt awful and there was a buzzing noise all night long. The carpet was in rough shape and the tub looked gross. Definitely needs updating. Not a lot of light in room, only from the 1 lamp between the beds.

The room was clean, but very dated. gaps around door left us feeling a little insecure. Staff was very nice.

We were just in town overnight for a concert, so we were looking for an inexpensive place to stay and this fit the bill. It is an older Florida hotel, so you can see the age on it everywhere. But our room was nice enough for an overnight stay - I would not stay here for multiple days. But, there were some renovations going on in a few rooms we passed by on our way to breakfast/checkout. Breakfast was what you’d expect at an inexpensive hotel. The stay was fine.

Make sure all the lights work, good grief. It's my personal opinion, but I thought the pillows were lumpy and hard, not comfortable at all. Front desk staff was very friendly.

I arrived late (an hour) to my check in due to my flight being delayed. When I showed up, I was told my reservation was cancelled. The woman working at the counter also said she could not grant me the price that I got on Hotels.com and that I had to call the hotels.com toll free number to reserve the room (again). After being on the phone for over an hour, I decided to go to another hotel.

It was an easy check in and out. It was Quite and the staff was helpful and welcoming.

Very good stay. Clean room. Great breakfast. Front counter person, Dallas, was very professional and courteous. Thank you.

Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure that my fiance and I were comfortable and safe during our stay. She was a consummate professional, and very sweet. She is an asset to the hotel, and without her our stay would not have been as enjoyable. We would definitely come again when in the area! Thanks again, Stephanie.

The front desk folks were wonderful. The breakfast food was good. Could use a pancake or waffle maker. The towels were not changed the 4 days we were there. No room service came during our stay.

The manager of this particular hotel should be fired. Not only she was rude to the customers. She also was rude to her employee. I registered online and it stated that the only thing we had to do was go to the front desk and pick up the keys, when we got there, we waited at least 30 minutes. I told the person that was helping us which I didn't know was the manager at the time that we Checked in online She asked for credit card, At that time, I told her that I put the credit card online when I checked in online she kept telling me I need the credit card to put Hundred dollars security deposit. I told her please use the credit card that I put on line at that time. She walked back and then comes back And stated that we booked it on Expedia and She asked for the credit card again at that point I gave it to her Heard the credit card The end thin The manager stated if you don't like it, I can just cancel your reservations .she walked to the back never told us anything else .We stood there at the checkout counter for another 10 or 15 minutes that's when the other person that was working the front desk stating let me go see what's up with your room when she came back, that's when she told us that the manager canceled our reservations. I called Expedia after being on the phone with them for a while. Did you give me a full refund if I could give this place 0 I would. Days and should be ashamed for having someone like this working and wanted their hotels.

The hotel is good but the staff are terrible, rude and no helpful. We stayed for 4 days and any housekeeping during those days. We has to walked to get more paper toilet and stuff. The last day the housekeeper start knocked the door before checkout

Hotels location is good for airport, seaport and beaches. An old hotel but very clean, for the price and location 4*-5* - offer very late check ou 3pm!!!

It is a good cost opportunity place. Its well located, 20 minutes away from Clearwater beach on a safe area. The room is big, with a plant of space for a 4 people family. With one more single mattress it would support easily 5 person. Unfortunately the room was not that clean and the pool area was dirty with insects in the pool.

Friendly staff, location is close to everything and a straight shot to Clearwater Beach.

Staff was nice. Facility looked old and there were several individuals lurking around the property who didn’t seem to belong.

In general, everything is good. The staff, location, reception, and breakfast. The only suggestion is that they need better or new pool chairs. Very good Location

Hotel was in a great location for our stay. Close to beach and restaurants. It’s older and in need of some repairs but nothing that would make us not return. Spa was not available but breakfast was good but not elaborate.

This is the 4th time we have stayed there with the last being in March 2023. The continental breakfast has dwindled quite a lot since our last stay. I understand that it is supposed to be a quick bite there was nothing really on the meu that was appealing.

I had difficulty locating your Hotel as there was no visible sign and apparently it has been gone since "the storm" from September 2024. Upon arrival the Desk Clerk was most helpful and cordial. As I secured a parking spot and started walking into the building (second floor) there was food trash on the grounds and the garbage can was overflowing. In addition, the room had a bad odor in it and the carpet was shredded in one area near the bathroom. The water pressure was extremely low and there was limited hot water. The "free breakfast" entailed cold cereal (full disclosure would have been appreciated. Without significant improvements, I will not be returning to your hotel.

Their ad online says breakfast included . there should be a correction. It was a continental breakfast for $150 a night. You should get a breakfast not a bagel and a stale piece of toast.

Pleasant stay. Clean breakfast could’ve been a bit better but passable.

Our second spring training stay here and for the most part it did not disappoint. The property is well-maintained, but we did notice some slippage from last year's quality. The pool is supposedly heated, but with the cool nights, or the possibility that the heater wasn't working correctly, the pool was not nearly as relaxing as last year. A thermal cover at night would help too. Breakfast now has eggs and biscuits and gravy only on weekends.

My only complaint was the breakfast and very little choices. The person in the office did not explain things properly.
