Well appointed condo right on the beach! Also had nice amenities for the price (gym, ping pong, pool, hot tub, sauna, basketball, and tennis all free!) It is owned by a time share company - I was signed up for a presentation but declined because they changed the terms of my rewards. To summarize - the place and staff are great if you are just renting, but I don't recommend the timeshare part.

I wish the tiki bar & pool opened earlier. Other than that great place!

Resort was outdated, but staff was friendly, stuff for kids to do (when working properly), bar staff was mediocre, our master bath's toilet, when flushed, sounded like a fog horn!! Pool is in front of hotel, on the small side & always busy!! We were there for our last hoorah (3 nights) before back to school & reality... It was enjoyable!!

Great accommodations with amazing views! Heated pool and deep hot tub were a highlight.

Great amount of space for families. We had 2 BR unit and sleeper sofa in living room, so 5-6 people no problem. The sleeper sofa is not that comfortable though - but that's usually the case. All rooms face the ocean, although 2nd floor the trees block a bit of the view, but it's also a nice view and you see some Florida wildlife. Outdoor pool is heated - I'm thinking upper 70s? Warm enough to swim even if the air temperature is colder. Hot tub is nice too. We didn't use the basketball or tennis courts that are on top of the garage, but they look in good shape. Plenty of parking. Staff seemed nice. Property overall is in good condition. Good location, grocery store nearby - full kitchen helps families save money for eating. This is our second time staying here and probably won't be the last!

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Had great check in and check out. Nice path to the beach. Right close to pier. Great drinks at the outside bar. There was always someone around making sure everything was taken care of. We only stayed 3 nights before cruise and it was easy access to port as well

Spacious and clean rooms. I recommend a rental car. The hotel is close to the space center and the wizard of oz museum. Did not care for the restaurant at the location but there are options at least a mile away. Hotel has kid activities during the day and karaoke in the cafe. They also have a small theater inside. Highly recommend this resort.

This property is conveniently located in Cocoa Beach and just a few feet from the beach using their private walkway. The facility had ample supplies and plenty of things to do. It was clean throughout the grounds. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative.

This property was a wonderful surprise for the cost. The condo was perfection. BIG and super clean and had all the things needed for a day stay or weeks at a time. Perfect view of the water and the pier. Freezing cold a/c and nice and quiet (no rowdy folks or noise from the pool, etc). A great game room, pool, hot tub, sauna and easy walk to beach just a few steps from the property. Front desk staff was lovely and parking was right there and super easy. Close to plenty of food and a grocery store basically across the street. We have already started looking to book this again in the next few months. 10/10 recommend this condo facility.

Room was decent, but there was a noticeable lack of attention to cleanliness/maintenance in the room and resort as a whole. I purchased an ocean front room for the week, yet was placed in a room with no view of the ocean…. like no view at all… When I asked to move rooms due to the plethora of issues such as but not limited to: the view, pests in the room, defective shower faucet, defective room key, and dirty floors, the manager responded very defensively and promptly declined all requests I made to rectify my issues. If I hadn’t been firm and demanded a refund for the remainder of my planned stay through Hotels.com, I would not have gotten any of my money back. I still had to take the loss of $319 from this hotel, when I arrived at 12:30 am and was leaving before the next morning at 10:00 am due to the filth and pests. Thankful to have had support of Hotels.com in rectifying my issues, as Discovery Beach Resort management told me they had no intentions of doing so. The images provided are NOT what you get at this hotel. We would have stayed and made the best of the situation if we were met with even an ounce of kindness or care from management. I am not hard to please by any means, but when advertising “ocean view”, there should be an ocean view. Otherwise, the view should be advertised as what it is: shrubs. The gentleman that works security and checks guests in at night when booking is closed is the only good thing about this place!!!!

In General we where satisfied with our stay at the Discovery Beach Resort. Staff where friendly and accomodating. Some things to point out though: The floor in our Room wasn't clean, sand Everywhere. The Resort is also dated... Would need some freshin Up.

Kind, welcoming, and helpful staff. Dated building but well maintained. Excellent location and beach access. It was a five minute walk to the pier. Quiet. Felt safe. Lovely pool area. Well-appointed, spacious 7th floor unit. It was very clean, with the exception of a well-swept floor that still did blacken the soles of our feet (needed a scrub in spots, though no dirt was visible) We did get a few visits from cockroaches. We understand that this is not necessarily uncommon for any Florida property, even with regular treatments. However, it was unnerving - hoping none came back to Canada with us in our bags that were on the floor! The ocean view was spectacular. One of the best we've ever had in all of our travels. This is a jewel of an asset for the property. All of the units are ocean facing (lower floors have obscured views due to lush greenery) We would have appreciated small coffee packs for the coffee-maker, even to purchase at the front desk. Buying grounds from the Publix across the road didn't make sense as they don't sell these in small enough quantities for a two-night stay. Suggestion for the management? Connect with a local coffee bean roaster and create a custom "Discovery Beach Resort" blend. Offer a sample pack, and sell 1/2 pound or pound bags with the DBR branding for folks to take home. All-in-all, we would recommend this apart-hotel, provided that a person not be bothered if they encounter any of the smaller Florida residents during their stay.

We liked that it was beachside. The building and area were in need of maintenance.

Overall a nice accommodation with slight compromises. Very nice apartment with balcony overlooking the sea. Everything you need is there. Unfortunately the bed was a bit old and worn out. It squeaked extremely loudly with every movement. Showering was practically impossible as there was no water pressure. That was a bit of a shame and worsened our impression somewhat. Apart from these two points, however, a very good place to stay.

Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The two and three bedroom condos are quite spacious. Even though this is an older property, it is well maintained. The front desk staff could not be nicer.

It was great ,the only thing is if get the second floor you might not be able to see the beach

Nice place right off the beach. If you want a view of the beach from your balcony you'll need to book the top floor.

Love this place we have stayed here many times and love it!!! The only complaint I have is the beds are very hard

The room(s) were great! It was like our own little apartment. It was very nice that the kids had their own room. The actual living/eating area was nice and big. The balcony was big also. Access to the beach was close and easy to get to. That being said, rooms on level 2 have no view and unfortunately our room was on level 2. Also, our kids room, with the 2 beds, was always so much warmer than the rest of the room. We would definitely come back to Discovery for another vacation, but hopefully stay on level 3 or higher.

These rooms are condos!!! Soooo spacious And fantastic, very clean, great view, close to everything,quiet, and the staff is amazing. Every single one of them. Thank you team

I expected a king bed, and all they have are queen beds. We paid for an ocean front condo, and we couldn’t even see the ocean because of high shrubs blocking the view. They also didn’t have decent WiFi, it wouldn’t hold on our phones, and they didn’t allow streaming on the TV’s to receive Netflix, or other options. There was also no outdoor hose or water available to wash off feet from the beach.

Everything was good but ever since staying here they been calling me every week trying to get us to be owner which is very annoying

Last min getaway trip. Wonderful location, walking distance to the pier a couple shops and coffee shops.

Don’t forget anything you need on Mondays there is no food and beverage available, but so easy to walk to restaurants nearby. 3rd floor view is awesome and short walk to beach.

Wonderful location and staff with the most delicious cafe and tiki bar down stairs. Loaded with amenities like in room laundry, full kitchen, pool, hot tub, sauna. And great views of the ocean and the pier!

The room itself was fine but we were told Ocean View and literally could not see through the shrubbery that borders the ocean. The pool is ok, like a Howard Johnson’s, and the restaurant is a big no. The Tiki Bar had lots of regulars and Cocoa Beach was kinda sketchy and was all kelpy, murky water. Just a pass all around.

Amazing stay! The staff was nice and the room was perfect. Loved the restaurant. Publix was close. Puzzles and games were available to borrow. Overall great experience!
