Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort

We got to the hotel late around 4:30 PM to find out that our room still wasn’t ready and wasn’t ready until around 5:25 PM in which all they did was give us an extra hour the next day for checkout so to spend as much as we did for the night just to stay in the room for less than 24 hours doesn’t seem worth it at all. The hotel room was very clean and nice but other than that probably wonuldnt go back

AVOID THIS PLACE. Don’t book it. Don’t do it. This hotel was AWFUL. They market it as luxury but it is nothing but a high traffic quick turnover timeshare motel dump. The beds were clean and somewhat comfortable but the positives ended there. As soon as we arrived to check in there was a line of cars backed up waiting. It took my husband AN HOUR AND ALMOST 15 MINUTES to check in from the time he walked in…unmitigated chaos. It just got worse from there. The entire place smells strongly of chemicals. The “luxury suites” are as FAR AS POSSIBLE away from the beach and directly facing/opening up to the busy, very noisy street. The bedrooms are tiny and cramped and have ZERO windows so inside was dark as night all day long. The master bathroom was TINY…and had no hot water so we couldn’t shower in it for the length of our stay. We informed the office early the day after we checked in and they assured us it would be fixed right away. No one ever came and the desk seemed not to care about it at all. The lazy river was supposedly heated- it was freezing and unusable. The tiki bar area was in disarray and a total mess. The bartender was kind but the drinks were all mix and much too sweet. Shame on this place for charging what they do for a two night stay and not making sure the most basic necessities are taken care of. Such a scam. I wish I’d listened to the negative reviews before booking.

An older resort but it was comfortable. Staff was excellent and very accommodating.

Got a few days in CB and wanted a great pool and the ocean. This place has both. Wonderful junior suite. Bed and pillows were super comfortable! Would stay again for sure. Super clean and well kept.
