Great hotel right on the harbor front. We’ve stayed here many times and have had a great experience each time. Park your car and leave it, you’re in town and within walking distance of everything you can imagine. The beach is a very short drive straight up the street and Fort Clinch State Park, which is amazing ! Added bonus, if you have a EV , there are 2 charging stations at this hotel . This property has always been well maintained and this trip was no exception.

Check it was slow due to computer having to update. Also, the room walls are very thin and unfortunately our drunk neighbors were talking loud late at night which woke me up. Luckily, I had earplugs and there were some provided by the hotel. It is difficult to find parking at this hotel. However, once you do, you should not leave with your vehicle. We just walked everywhere downtown. However, the location is wonderful if you are interested in hanging out in downtown Fernandina. It was also clean, and the staff was polite.

Went here for my birthday weekend. The hotel overall is in a great location, very convenient, and has spacious rooms. The breakfast was great, with a nice variety. Everything was very clean. We were a bit disappointed because the pool was drained, and we were never given notice. After coming back from a long day, we just wanted to sit outside on the patio and relax. Security came 5 minutes later and said we had to leave. There were only two of us and we were not making any loud noises. There is no other outside area to go to. However, the next night there were a bunch of people sitting outside in the same area, and they were told nothing. There is no bar or lounge area at the hotel which was disappointing. On the morning of check-out, housekeeping was knocking at our door at 10:30 even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign still up. I was told check out was at 11 am. Overall, I would stay here again if I had no intention of using the pool or the hotel for anything other than sleeping and having breakfast.

Typical nondescript Hampton with a nice view and close to restaurants. The pool however was closed for renovations and that info was not an any web site including Hiltons (until after a long exchange with their customer service rep and then it "magically" appeared). No mention of it by the desk clerk and we only knew about when we got on the elevator and saw the sign. I would have chocked it up to bad luck until Hilton's customer service asked how our stay was. What ensued was a few hours of excuses where they basically blamed Hotels.com for not telling us and blamed us for using Hotels.com in making the reservations. We decided to eat the cost of the last day and head home. Won't be staying at Hampton/Hilton again and won't use Hotels.com to make reservations again

The location was great. We were in walking distance to everything. The hotel was nice however the room was very dirty, bathroom especially. The there was an off smell about it as well. The shower leaked water into the hall area and you can tell it always does it bc there is a soap scum stain in the hall (walk way).

Location is wonderful. However, this is our second time staying and the room was way worse this time around. Our first time we stayed in a room with a fireplace and it was pretty nice and relatively clean. This time we stayed in a typical king and it was very dirty. The room had a stale smell, huge stains in the carpet, and two small blood stains on one of the pillow cases we almost didn’t notice. I can tell it had been cleaned but it was in need of a lot more. The shower and floors had mildew stains everywhere. We were only there to sleep so it was fine. I would probably return because of the location but I would not stay in the same type of room.

Location is great! The hotel is not maintained and worn. But on top of that, it is dirty. The shower had mold and basic crud in it. No excuse for not being clean dispute the age of the property. Seems it is time for a major renovation. It is the only hotel in downtown Fernandina so they have a captive audience. We will never stay again however.

The place was super clean, front desk staff extremely helpful as was the house keeping staff. The breakfast was really good and the ladies who cooked and managed the buffet kept it clean and well stocked and even opened a new bottle of plain cinnamon for my oatmeal (I don't eat cinnamon sugar.) The beds were great, the towels fluffy and the kitchen and bathroom very clean. The hotel location was perfect, right at the harbor and within waling distance of the whole town of Fernandina Beach.

The bathroom floor turned the bottom of your feet black. It has not been cleaned properly in a long time. The carpet was Gross, room was very stuffy when we arrived. We had to go to the store and buy some Lysol!

Bed Bugs! My party of 5, we stayed in one of the suites, were all bitten. Having originally thought these were mosquitoes we didn’t know until later. We had delayed responses to the bites. Over 70 appearing up to 6 days later. 5 phone calls to the manager and NEVER a call back. We stayed in room 440.

Friendly and efficient staff. Hotel is a bit tired and could use an update. Tub stained, furniture worn. Train goes by very close to hotel and very morning before 6 am. Kind of them to give you ear plugs.

There were several issues. The shower floor was pitched toward the door so 1/2" of water was always pooling on the floor. Very dangerous especially for seniors or children. The tables/ counters were dusty and dirty. The mattress was in need of replacement as there were depressions where the occupants lay. The exterior was under construction so parking spaces were very limited Very unhappy to say the least.

Nice place but numerous maintenance issues. The shower door leaks badly. The caulking around the shower inside and outside is a mildew color. The sink and tub drains are clogged. The Men's room on the second floor does not close properly because of damaged door hinges.

The staff was amazing however the location of the room (210) was across from the elevator, ice machine, and the volume from the lobby carried into our room at all hours of the day/night. The volume from the band across the street also carried into our room making it very loud and difficult to sleep. The first night we woke up for the day due to someone screaming in the lobby at 3:40. The next day we tried to take a nap but we’re unable due to a large crowd gathering in the lobby. We were also woken up the next night due to multiple people in the lobby area. The staff was hard working and amazing, despite the obstacles they faced, however the volume carrying from the lobby, hallway, etc was unbearable. There were also stains on the curtains.

The property itself is so beautiful. I however, walk into a patron arguing with the front staff when check in time arrived. Accommodations were great, rooms are spacious. There was a thunderstorm and the window in the room leaked. We had a bay front view which was pretty awesome but unfortunately I woke up between 2-3 in the morning with the stench of low tide in the room. Overall my stay was positive with the exception of these few things.

Check in was a 4:00 PM. Our room wasn't ready until 6:30 PM, there were probably 40 people waiting in the small lobby for their rooms to be ready. No Manager was onsite, poor communication from the front desk. Missed our dinner reservations. You're paying for the Hilton Brands name but clearly this hotel can't deliver Hilton level service!

At check-in they gave me two suites, and I wanted adjoining rooms and one room with double beds. I was charged $50 for incidentals on the first room and two charges of $75. When I checked out there were issues again! The front desk clerk said one of the $75 charges was a pet fee for the second room. I told her that I entered that I would have a Shih Tzu with me, and that was the only animal that was listed (only animal that was with us)! When the lady tried to correct the issue there were three more $75 charges posted to my account. She said she was unable to close my folio at that time. I asked her to whom I would need to speak with about all of it, and she said Robert and some other man (did not catch his name). This was the worst check-in and check-out process I have ever had. I do not care to stay at that hotel chain ever again. She also stated that third parties reservations are always messed up, because the third party does not forward pertinent information.

Room and hotel was great but two weeks later there is an incidental charge of $50 pending on my credit card. I checked upon departing and my incidental balance was 0.Yesterday I called Hampton and they confirmed no additional charges were incurred and suggested a third party submitted it. Should this be posted I will dispute it and am unsure of ever using Hotels.com

Booked the rooms through Expedia however the hotel did not seem to have the reservations. Eric at check-in was extremely helpful trying to resolve the issue however Katie at front desk was extremely rude and obnoxious and purposefully did not even attempt to assist. When she did finally did enter one of the reservations she entered the incorrect information/ checkout date resulting in additional anxiety as we received a text about having to check out while we were outdoors. If not for Eric and the other front desk crew Katie would have successfully ruined our holiday.

First, let me say the property is clean, and very nice. Despite a reservation booked months in advance, they weren’t ready with a room at check in time. We had to sit for two hours in the lobby as the rooms weren’t clean yet. They said the laundry wasn’t done. Once we got the room, it was clean and beautiful, and the breakfast was good, but we arrived to get a room, so we could clean up and head to our dinner reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had to cancel that dinner just to wait to get into our room. The staff at the desk was nice, and I don’t blame them as this was out of their control, and the guy working even took our address and said they will send us a voucher for a complimentary night. We booked through a third party service so he couldn’t comp a night right there, but he said they will send the voucher. Whether that will actually happen remains to be seen as here we are going on three weeks later and nothing has arrived. All in all it is a nice place, but I can’t give five stars due to the headache and inconvenience.

We checked in late evening and both ladies at front desk were rude and not helpful with information. The were no parking spots available since one side of parking lot was under renovation. When asked attendance she was flat out rude saying we can park on the street. Next morning when we checked out the ladies said we shouldn’t have parked on the street like we were told. The room were in poor maintenance condition and the bathroom was dirty. Shower leaking all night, toilet have a black crust that you can see front the door. The hallways and dining area were nice and clean. Dining attendance was really nice and helpful.

The best location right in the middle of the historic district. Many local eateries, most with outdoor seating and several with live music. Rooms were large, clean, and we had a gas fireplace. Breakfast choices change every day And better than many hotels that offer free breakfast. Just cross the street to catch the awesome sunsets as the hotel is on the Amelia River.

We had an enjoyable stay. The beds and pillows were comfy. The food was good for breakfast. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Had a nice shopping area. Loved that it was walkable. The Patio Restaurant was very good. Had a great time. Would come back again.

This is our second time staying at this property. We were very impressed with the cleanliness especially the ladies in the breakfast room. Lots of options for breakfast, more than expected. Also they have a little snack in the evening and $3 beer and wine which was nice. We will be back.
