The pictures are deceiving the hot tub was locked ,the fitness room was a storage area. The rooms need updates no coffee pot burn holes in the spread. The building looks run down and needs a lot of cleaning up. The breakfast was small and very little to pick from and not alot of healthy things to pick from. A lot of dead bugs in the window of the room. The a/c wasn't too cool in the room. The pool was cloudy and not clean in the pool area. Will not be staying here again.

When I reserved the room for the night it was a special treat for my daughter who is special needs. We were looking forward to the use of the pool and jacuzzi. When we arrrived we were told that it was being worked on. The manager said that he would go check and see if it was finished. He came back with the answer we wanted to hear. The repairs were complete and it was ready for use. My daughter was very excited to be able to use the jacuzzi and pool amenities. We went straight to the room; changed and headed staight to the jacuzzi. Much to our surprise when we walked in the bathrooms were backed up over floweing on to the floor. Towels were laid down around the toliet. It smelled like a sewer and then when I turned around the jacuzzi was covered in black mold. I wouldnt stick my toe in it much less my entire body. I appoligized to my daughter and suggested that we just go to the pool. Im not sure why I was surprised. At that point I went back to the office to complain they acted as if nothing was wrong. There were 3 other couples standing at the front desk waiting to speak to the manager about the condition of there rooms as well. I was told by the manager that they would give me a credit 50% off of what I had paid and sorry for the unacceptable conditions of the property but they had only taken of=ver the property the day before. When I cheked my bank several days later I realized that they charged me the full amount. Needless to say I would never stay at a Wyndham again

We booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub. When we arrived we were told the pool had been closed for 3 days due to a leak. Front desk did not know what he was doing. Refused to give Expedia permission to refund while standing there on the phone with them and then hung up on Expedia after hollering at them.

The turtles were cool. The fitness room was not open at all. The hot tub is really gross. Floor is coming apart in the room. Bathtub I wouldn't want to touch with 10 foot pool. This experience was absolutely horrid. First off me and my family needed to stay one night somewhere. We were camping and got rained out. So a nice looking place (the pictures), with a hot tub and pool came along! BUT when we got here they told us that the hot tub was down and have been for a couple of days (but reviews dating back to a month ago AT LEAST have said the same thing) secondly, the carpet of the front desk was disgusting and looking back it probably was mold. I say that because we found black mold in the bed, on the walls, the bathroom and on the ceiling of our room. Our bed skirt had so much mold on it (in pictures) and the circle of mold was on the mattress cover (in pictures) as if someone just threw a fitted sheet on it to over it up!! They offered for us to switch rooms when we told them we had a bad allergy to mold! OKAY FINE… BUT THEN they were talking to us in casual speaking apparently?? and they said that they just need to do a paint job and that they were going to paint soon!!! YES???! THEY TOLD US THAT THEY ARE GOING TO PAINT OVER THE MOLD. i was absolutely mortified!! so then we got our second room, and although it seemed to be a little better than the first WE STILL FOUND MORE MOLD! (also in pictures). As well as, our towels weren’t cleaned properly. (in pictures). Not to mention now SKECKY this place was!!! There was a creepy van with a man walking back and forth to his van to his room all night long! and he was banging on his van and windows!? not

I love how the original day I was suppose to be there I had to reschedule. They called me asking if everything was ok. The following Sun I checked in granted the hot tub and ice machines weren't working but very friendly and easy check in. The room was wonderful and I plan on staying here next time I go to Florida. They did tell me that the next few months they will be remodeling the hotel.

Booked a room through Expedia and then sat for two and a half hours going back and forth with the desk people and Expedia. The hotel had no reservations for me… after the 2 1/2 hours I’m there they end up booking out and tell me they can’t accommodate us. The property was nothing like the pictures show anyways the pool was very run down and a bright greenish brownish color which is one of the main reasons we chose the property! Didn’t get to see much other than the front parking lot and check in office but from what I saw I’m glad it didn’t work out! Expedia was very helpful the entire time and got me set up somewhere else down the road! And a plus it’s way nicer!!

Cleanliness in this motel was horrible. The sheets had cigarette holes, towels were dirty, shower curtain had mold on it, and to cap everything off we got up in the morning and we saw a roach.

This place is filthy. I took a tub of barbicide wipes in to barbicide the bathroom. Even after that, I wasnt willing to take a shower there. If you go in to book this place, you will not stay here. Online photos very misleading! Awful!

Filthy. We checked in late in the evening & there was trash under the foot of both beds, trash in trash can with clean empty bag put in over top of it, make-up on sink counter, moldy coffee bag left in coffee maker, trash in bedside table, pink residue in clothes drawers. The front desk person the only one there. They were very nice & apologetic & tried to be helpful as best a they could, offered us another room but it smelled like urine. I really should have asked for a refund but we had nowhere else to go that late in the evening.

It seems very safe and quiet but inside the of the rooms was very unclean. The floors were dark wood probably to hide all the dirt from not cleaning; I have pictures of the spider webs on the base board with bugs and roaches. The shower tub was very nasty I was lucky that I had slippers that I could use to get off the bed and to be able to take a shower with. The sheets were clean but the bed decoration was very nasty like it had food or other spills on it, very gross. But the staff were very cordial and nice.

We didn’t like anything! The room was FILTHY and the entry door had been kicked in. The poor repair work allowed for bugs to enter. We refused to step into the tub and I waited to brush my teeth at a rest stop the following morning. After 15 hours of traveling, we were forced to spend the night; otherwise, we would have not stayed. “Remodeled “ was certainly an understatement! Needless to stay, we didn’t stick around for breakfast. Be weary if you see the manager leaving the next door room holding a can of bug spray.

The room had big wet spots when we got in and was missing pillows. There were only 2 towels in a room for four. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Just soap and lotion. The lobby smelled like Marijuana. Somebrooms had decorations in the windows and placed trash oit of the doors, it appears some people lived there long term. The parking area had a urine smell. But the staff were all very friendly and offered me a different room. They were patient and kind. It wasn't the best hotel I have stayed at, but I would stay there again because it wasn't the worst hotel I have been to either.

I checked in the Baymont on 5 May for one night, upon entering the room, I found roaches and spiders. I contacted the front desk personnel and they came to make an inspection of the room. I was told by the personnel that they would contact there. exterminator company to have them to disinfect the room that never happened. Later on that night about 11 o’clock I was awakened by burning sensation around my neck, arms and torso area. Again I contacted the front desk and this time the person working the front desk the night auditor was very rude. After showing the auditor, the bruises from the bug bites and my neck head start to swell, I asked that he call 911 to have me checked out, and he outright refused and said for me to call them. I called 911. and they responded and also noted that there were bedbugs on the bedspread. The night auditor at that time switch my room from 124 to room 207. As the night went on my swelling in my neck area, arms and hands began to get worse and at 4 AM. I had to walk to a Circle K which was in the area route 90 in Lake City Florida to get medication Benadryl for pain relief. To add insult to injury the morning personnel. I’m tempted to say that I left a door open and that is why I have these injuries.

The dead bolt wouldn’t slide and the safety “hasp” above it was torn off. The telephone cord was cut. The hair dryer plug had scorch marks and I found a toe nail clipping on the floor. Delightful.

The first room we were put in there was blood on the door frame. The toilet wasn't bolted down to the floor. When you got up from using the toilet it would almost fall over had to get up delicately for it not to. The 2nd room we were put in smelled like a bottle of elmers glue. In the bathroom the wallpaper had a giant piece of it rip off. The water was hooked up backwards to the faucet. It went from hot to cold instead of cold to hot. So you had to turn it off fast to keep from burning yourself. The shower head was so corroded that half of the holes didnt have water going thru them. The continental breakfast the eggs and the sausage were cold. No orange juice in the orange juice machine. The sugar in the sugar container had pepper in it with the sugar. So we had to use sugar packets. Only thing that was nice was. There was no outrageous deposit. The first room we were put in there was blood on the door frame. The toilet wasn't bolted down to the floor. When you got up from using the toilet it would almost fall over had to get up delicately for it not to. The 2nd room we were put in smelled like a bottle of elmers glue. In the bathroom the wallpaper had a giant piece of it rip off. The water was hooked up backwards to the faucet. It went from hot to cold instead of cold to hot. So you had to turn it off fast to keep from burning yourself. The shower head was so corroded that half of the holes didnt have water going thru them. The continental breakfast the eggs and the sausage were cold. No orange juice in the orange juice machine. The sugar in the sugar container had pepper in it with the sugar. So we had to use sugar packets. Only thing that was nice was. There was no outrageous deposit. And the lady at the desk that night was very nice did the best she could for being extremely busy all night long.

The hotel is run down, leaking roof over door way to room , hot water , lol what hot water , turn on water the first day took a little bit to get hot , then next day not hot water at all , I let it run for a good 15 minutes, no hot ,then the ceiling in bathroom was black with mold , staff really didn’t care. I wish a had taken some pictures that makes me mad that I didn’t.

This was the most disgusting motel my wife and I ever stayed in. Filth and disrepairs. Dirty sink with hair in it. A bathroom floor that was dirty and appeared to not be wahed in years. The bed was comfortable, so we slept well. Other things were not so good. The bathroom floor was dirty. Shower tiles were dirty. Shower chair was wobbly. There was only 1/3 roll of toilet paper. Towel rack in bathroom was loose. Coffee machine in room but no coffee. Desk chair was torn. Breakfast was sparse... bagels, frozen waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt, milk, juice diluted with water and the coffee was undrinkable. It looked like mud and tasted like dishwater. Staff was friendly and courteous. We will not stay here again.

When we arrived we asked for our room style that was booked- Double room king bed and was informed there's no such thing. Unfortunately it's listed on here so I'm assuming it's listed wrong. We arrived to our room and there was a musty smell, the TV wouldn't come on and the bathroom light didn't worm. I went to the front desk and the attendant came to my room. He flipped the bathroom light switch like 25 times and it finally came on, he advised not to turn it off. The TV was turned on by him using the TV keys (not the remote) and I was told to adjust the volume and turn off/on the TV by theses functions and not the remote. He then leaves and less than 5 minutes later we notice a huge puddle under the AC unit. I also noticed floor repair and new damage in that same area. Walk back to see the attendant (they do not have phones in the room) and he advised it's leaking as the as isn't level and said he would bring some sheets and towels to place under the unit to catch the water during the stay. The room stunk, the tub faucet barely worked, rust in the tub as well as the sink. This facility was about $40 less than a brand new hotel a few blocks away. We should have booked the new place, unfortunately I learned the hard way. We didn't stay for breakfast, I was too grossed out with the entire complex to even think about eating their food.

We booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub. When we arrived we were told the pool had been closed for 3 days due to a leak. Front desk did not know what he was doing. Refused to give Expedia permission to refund while standing there on the phone with them and then hung up on Expedia after hollering at them.

Got there is a charge card they didn't have any ink to print out any receipt went to the room TV refrigerator not working toilet was running constantly went back told him what was going on they said he would come and take a look I was sitting in the the room waiting and a few minutes later a woman comes in with her luggage opens the door with her card that she got from the front desk stating that they gave her this room, even though I was getting this room 15 minutes ago. That was enough for me to say enough is enough to get out very unhappy very unprofessional and have somebody rewrite a card that you just got to gain access to your room. Person at the front desk claims that he can't refund me back so I had to call my credit card company and have them disputed very unhappy never go there again.

Was scared to get out of my car. Me and my daughter and 2 grandkids. The pool was green the beautiful pond in the picture was a mud hole. we smelled marijuana before we went down the little hill and worse once we was there had only made reservations a few hours earlier was scared to get out of the car so we called the hotel and was told we could get a refund to call bookings and tell them what had happened and we would get a full refund. Now the hotel nor bookings will give me a refund. Do not stay there the pictures are not what it looks like

I was horrified when I pulled up. It looked like a crack hours. The parking lot was run down, people walking around, hanging around outside. Went into the room put the heat on 78, it was freezing. It was blowing out cold air. They had a space heater that wire go hot, someone swiped the cable to the tv. We switched rooms and the second wasn’t Amy better. It was unclean, unkept. The heater smelled like it was burning. We left.

This was a very sketchy place to stay with my family. We did not feel safe the entire time, there was cops driving through the parking lot at all hours, the breakfast in the morning was not great, and the conditions of the room itself was awful. Dirty floors, bathroom was enough to use but didn’t want to shower in. The beds we only used because we HAD to. Husband called it the definition of a roach motel.

It seemed as though most of the people staying at the hotel were long term stays. Someone was blasting music at 4am, the upstairs people were pretty loud, and the room was dirty. The room had big wet spots when we got in and was missing pillows. There were only 2 towels in a room for four. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Just soap and lotion. The lobby smelled like Marijuana. Somebrooms had decorations in the windows and placed trash oit of the doors, it appears some people lived there long term. The parking area had a urine smell. But the staff were all very friendly and offered me a different room. They were patient and kind. It wasn't the best hotel I have stayed at, but I would stay there again because it wasn't the worst hotel I have been to either.

I understand this is a budget hotel and I'm not super upset, but I've had much better overall experiences for even cheaper. Many things were broken or not working properly... phone, tv/remote, secerity bolt, breakfast appliances, etc. Breakfast was lack luster! Not a ton of variety. We ate about 8:15 so they had 30-40 min of breakfast left. They had 1 yogurt in the cooler, No fruit was out, waffle batter ran out. When asked for more batter they said that was it for the day. The next group had to wait for more coffee to be made. This place was not busy at all so running out should not have been a problem. Service the night before was better than the morning shift. Beds were comfortable and clean.

I have no complaints. Clean room, I felt safe, I was comfortable and no signs of bedbugs ! I am very pleased and if I return to lake city I’ll stay again. The front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming !

Listen to the other poor reviews. Would not recommend. There were no blankets on the bed and a messily tossed one up on the rack “for use” (but was very obviously used). There was no shower curtain, hairs all over the floor, and the floors were not swept nor were the mirrors cleaned. The bath towels seemed washed, but were stained. When I let the front desk know about these problems, he informed me that the reason was because our room was “newly renovated”. After booking and reading reviews, I did try to cancel but the property refused. I had my family with me and did not feel comfortable nor safe. Absolutely do not recommend.
