Rooms showing wear and tear, could do with renovation, clean tho. No fridge or microwave - disappointing, my Chinese take-out didn't taste the same when cold. Front desk staff were friendly. No breakfast, but free snacks were available from 7 am at he front desk, chips, muffins, chocolate chip cookies, bottled water, Bananas, Oranges and more, a very nice touch and well appreciated by somebody in a rush. One thing I didn't like was $8 per day parking fee.

It was a horrible experience. I was unable to get a refund for the stay. Had to move to another hotel. We had lizards in our room, urine stains on the sofa, and the food was tasteless (pancakes and eggs). The toilet would not flush. The caulking was poorly done. The pool was green and murky.

The staff was courteous. Eggs are served with Continental breakfast.The property and furnishings are quite aged but overall clean. There is no spa service as advertised. Ideal value $85/night.

The pool was closed for maintenance. This could have been relayed to us prior to our arrival. We had 2 kids that had driven 11 hours and we were planning to let them expend energy by swimming. Unfortunately, they were not able to do this and were bored.

Place is just not good, would not recommend at any price. Internet does not work, we moved rooms as we were told one side is weaker only to find out internet just is crap. Did not work all 5 days we were there. Also to note there is no cable, so without internet you have no TV. Rooms have no fridge, no microwave…simply horrible as a place to stay.

Very old facility with lack of maintenance. Old carpet, old bathroom with painted tub and broken wall tiles with stained grout. Overall old place with lack of everything. No restaurant or gym as it was advertised. Old Tv's with lack of internet connection. I had to move to a room with a better tv.

The room 212 has bed bugs . I checked out and went to another hotel cleaner and without bedbugs. I took pictures, I m requesting a full refund for this room.

The area itself is pretty safe. I was in the process of buying a car from the Acura dealer across the street and spent the night here because it was close by. Never again. The entire property is such a totally different contrast compared to the beautiful city it’s in. The building has been extremely neglected and especially the rooms. Our room was very outdated and uncomfortable. The bathtub had rust and there was a huge decapitated dead roach behind the bathroom door. The chair in the room and the carpet was covered in stains. We had to spray everything down in the room with sanitizer before using it. This was a stay of convenience and we were filled with regret the moment we opened the room door. Never again will we stay there nor recommend to anyone.

This place is old, dark and out-dated. It smells bad, the rooms were not clean, had dead bugs on the bathroom floor, and flies in the room.. The lights in the room was not working. We asked for the light bulbs to be changed and no one came to change them. We had to beg for clean towels and for someone to clean the room only to be told that in order for our room to be clean daily we had to request it, and when we did, no one came to clean it. We ended up going to the laundry room to get clean towels, and that was difficult because no one spoke English. However, the people at the front desk was awesome and very polite. I will not be staying here again.

Throughly enjoyed my stay at Grand palms, i would say that I was a little bothered that the tub didnt drain very well and needed to be snaked. They could also use some new comforters as you could tell they were worn in from use over time. Aside from that the room was very clean and was larger than most hotel rooms I've been in. All the hotel staff was very welcoming and kind. I also had a really nice view of the golf course which was great.

My stay was just one night. The only thing is i was on the 1st floor and when people were walking around talking, it resonated in the room. It was easy check in and out. I slept great.

The hotel staff were amazing and friendly. The hotel itself was old, outdated and not traveler friendly. No, microwave, no refrigerator, no USB outlets, in fact very few accessable wall outlets. The TV was a 32 inch with broken speaker. I haven't seen a bathroom or tub as small as this hotels in thirty years. You can't take a shower without the curtains touching you. Yikes! Advertised as an resort, that is a joke, maybe in the 70's or 80's. It's in an amazing location, they did say a major renovation was planned soon. The golf course is the absolute worst course in area, weeds in the fairways and greens only about 25% of the area was puttable. Complete trash. With all the options in the area I would never stay there again even if offered a free stay. Ps, they hold a fee for incidentals as most hotels do, but offer no incidentals , no snack bar (machines outside only) no in room movie options so I guess that is for possible damages???? Again, good front desk and bar staff other than that a 1 on a scale of 1-10 .

Junie and the other lovely staff at the front desk were simply amazing, professional, and accommodating. After the first night, my husband suggested a suite viewing of the golf course, and Junie changed our room with no issues. The room was clean, and the ladies who did room service were polite. We will definitely book here again!

I booked a handicap accessible king suite, paying extra for the king bed. Was given a double bed room that was accessible but was not told that this is what we were getting. I was not offered a choice of either, just given the double. It was late so we decided to wait till morning to speak to a manager. We did not want to continue our stay as they could not accommodate my request. I requested a refund for the remainder of our stay and was told NO by the manager as we were given an accessibile room. I explained the situation to him and he did not want to hear it. And at that point he walked away. I had also told the receptionist and the manager that one of the beds did not fit the bed frame, and that both my husband and myself tripped on the frame several times. We were told the would look into it. At this point we left and stayed at a much nicer hotel (Fairfield inn) for the same price but with the accommodations I requested and a much nicer atmosphere and staff. Side bar.... We have stayed at this hotel before but will never be back after this experience.

Great deal! Excellent location. Near shopping, dining and highways. Staff was welcoming and helpful. They gave me the same room we stayed in months earlier. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room requires some updating but was clean and spacious. We did not have a chance to use the pool but grounds looked well maintained. We ended up extending our stay. If you were looking for an inexpensive, clean, safe hotel, Grand Palms in Pembroke Pines is highly recommended.

Absolutely No Customer Service. They Refused to honor Reservation and give me a room. They had access to give out rooms, but Refused to because their system was down to process payment. Refused to honor confirmation and deal with payment the next day or at another point in stay, as I had a 3 day Reservation. DO NOT RECOMMEND & would Not EVER book with them again. Also according to an email that I received after my booking, I believe from you. The facility had no hot water & no timeframe for repair completion.

My second stay this year. This time in one of the suites. Jada was my reception manager. Very friendly. She told me that there is new administration and they are trying to bring the place back up. The regular rooms are outdated and pretty basic but it was very clean. The suite I stay this time is more spacious with a mini kitchen an living room. Also old style but very clean. Bathroom causing looks new. Not everything perfect, A little bit of mold by the refrigerator. I mentioned it to the manager who was very receptive. I did not encounter any bugs or smells like other reviews mentioned. Overall at the price In payed it is a great value hotel that is near shopping restaurants and the golf club. I would stay again.

The property was conveniently located to shopping a restaurants. It was also was tucked away in a quiet area. Great location! However, needs a bit of cosmetic , or make over repairs, and the parking could be much closer.

The hotel needs some refurbishment. The breakfast was very minimal, not much choice, in fact we could not serve ourselves, we had to ask for food, and when asked for more eggs, we were told we could only have 1 portion and the only other option of hot food, was pancake, there was no fruit juice, only water. It was minimal.

The property location is great but the resort is in need of serious renovation. Furniture was old and falling apart, bed mattress and linen were extremely worn, drapes were faded and TV was so small you almost had to sit on top of it. My laptop screen was about the same size. The parking lot was dimly lit and in need of repaving, and wifi was very slow after taking awhile to connect. The housekeepers were nice and helpful and in general the room was clean but I had a suite and was told the regular rooms were totally unacceptable.
