Everything everywhere is dirty and unclean. Fitness room had nothing restocked and nothing to wipe down with. It needs to be condemned until it gets a deep clean. Elevators and halls have layers of grime. Room was surface clean but every corner and crevice contained it. Even the TV remote was gross. Sorry!

The property is old and showing signs of aging, as well as in need of some maintenance and repairs. The coffee and water station that is supposed to be filled for guests to use were never filled. I guess there might be some budgeting issue. The biggest praise is to the staffs. They are all very nice and friendly. The hot tub is a good place to relax.

The next day there was a leak in the ceiling, then they charged me all the nights while I have already paid in full thru hotels.com then the jacuzzi outside was empty nothing blocking to go in which is dangerous for a kids they could fall in there

Everything .metal in the room was covered in rust. Carpet not clean. Ceiling had unfinished sheetrock repairs. Dated needed updating badly. Pool was out of order. No food other than snacks at the desk wayyyy over priced. Also in the choices given to offer help for a particular group...why are you discriminating against straight white people. Seems like you only want minorities or to encourage unethical behavior. I have no interest in ever staying at a holiday inn ever again. I will sleep in my vehicle before I do that. Also I paid $300 per night. I expect more for that amount.

Hotel appears to have undergone a renovation. The Lobby and common areas looked fantastic. The room and hallway on the forth floor were dirty. Carpet was removed from room and replaced with laminate flooring. The baseboards and flooring looked to be installed by a low quality craftsman. The bathroom had little curly hairs all over the place. The bathtub was removed and the tile job that replaced it was done by the same craftsman. Shower curtain was still set up for a tub so it did not touch floor. No barrier was made for the water which traveled and puddled on the far side of the bathroom floor. Bathroom sink looked to have been pulled from the wall and same skilled craftsman filled the 1 1/2" gap with white caulk. Walls in room had markings and shadows of furniture that once resided there. Looked like the Grinch just stole items out the room. The place reminded of my first roach infested 1 bedroom cheap apartment when I was just getting started out in life. I wouldn\'t advise anyone to stay here. They need to finish renovations before renting out rooms.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The first hotel room I had was an upgrade to a suite and it was infested with roaches. The front desk offered me another room and free breakfast and adjustment to the bill. The second room was a lot cleaner, and there was no presence of roaches. Staff tried to make it right.

The staff was nice but the hotel is disgusting. My room has had hair in the bathtub upon check in, small roaches crawling in the bathroom , stains on the walls and carpet , scratched furniture and rusty drawer handles , bathroom lights and basically anything metal. I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. Please save your money and stay elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake I made.

We stayed here a couple years ago and loved it, so we thought nothing of staying again. We booked a room with two queens and a pull out couch for 5 of us. The first room we were put in had no couch and the all tile floor was coated in an extremely slimy and slippery film. When we were moved to our second room we were overwhelmed by the smell of mildew and the humidity the second we opened the door. We were in a hurry though so we didn’t bother to ask for a third room. We stayed 3 nights and all three were miserable. The air conditioning worked, but the room was so humid that our sheets and blankets were all damp. Anytime someone used the bathroom at night, roaches scattered when the lights came on. There was no bedding for the couch bed and we had to go down twice to ask for it. There was also rust and mold everywhere. The hotel also wanted $16/person for the breakfast buffet. When we went out to the pool we were told there were towels out there. There weren’t, so we had to drip-dry. And on the very last night, a cicada or something equally loud found it’s way into a vent and sang to us the entire night. I don’t like leaving negative reviews. I can usually find the good in anything. But this was by far the worst stay we’ve ever had in a hotel and we will not be going back next time we visit family in St. Augustine.

Hotel is infested with roaches. We moved to a different room after there were roaches on our night stand. Second room had them everywhere. Couldn't sleep knowing a roach was going to crawl on me. Night staff was really rude about the roaches. Morning staff was rude as well about the situation.

The hotel itself was horrible we had roaches in the room when we had the AC on it made the room very moist the tub had a huge orange stain in it..this was the 2nd room that we transferred to the first room had a lot of drywall patches and again the sheets and carpet were very moist when the AC was on the staff was very apologetic about it but it still was very inconvenient and was not a nice place to stay in

I appreciated the fact that the staff allowed us to stay with our cats after a 5 hour drive even tho they usually only allow dogs. I assumed "pet friendly " meant all pets. We got to our room and it wasnt what we requested and there were a couple small issues so the staff was extremely accommodating and upgraded us. We did not expect that. We just wanted what we reserved. We ended up in a beautiful and spa ious room with the lake view we wanted. Special kudos to Shavalarie for goong above and beyond and for her great attitude!!!!

The price was very good, but my room had dirt spots. The curtains were broken and would not stay closed. The shower faucet was loose and was difficult to convert from bathtub to shower. I felt like this room was given to a paying customer before it was fixed and ready.

Danielle took forever to check us in, when we walked to the room it clearly belonged to someone else and was dirty! Then they gave us another room after 40 minutes. We went out to get food and came back in 30 minutes to our room key not working. This lady sold our room to someone else with our stuff in it!!! And these people had a dog. They gave us a third room where the ac was barely working. This was a horrible experience especially with kids experiencing this. We got our room at 12:30am. Stay away.

The staff makes this Holiday Inn one of the best I have ever stayed at..I had a misunderstanding with billing once I arrived. The front desk attended who seemed to be in training and manger explained it and took care of my concern. I also had one other request the day before I left and within seconds it was taken care of. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel is centrally located to everything. Downtown Saint Augustine is less then a 25 min ride. Thanks again for a great getaway weekend.

The hotel was in need of obvious repairs. The air vents near the elevator were filthy, floor baseboards were lying in the hallway making it an easy trip hazard, the baseboards in the rooms were unfinished. The exterior grounds were in need of better appearance (this should have been my first clue) There seemingly was not enough desk help at check in and check out. The housekeeping employee was tapping very aggressively on our door at 8:30 AM and again at 9:07 AM, then running the vacuum just outside our door. I had to use my personal phone to call the front desk because the phone in the room was disconnected. When asked why this was going on with an 11AM check out, it could not be explained. Our sleep was disrupted. The coffee maker did not work at all, we were directed to three different floors when asked for ice, even the front desk clerk did not know where the machines were located. This was a very disappointing experience. I we drove 4hr for a get-a-away only to have a below average experience. I could not believe Holiday Inn had allowed their repetition to drop so low. We should be reimbursed.

Quick trip. Room was clean, comfortable and grounds were attractive. St. Mary's Restaurant nearby had good food, a lake with turtles and fish to feed and very pretty setting. Staff at hotel was friendly and helpful.

We weren’t in hotel for long periods except to sleep/clean up. Smelled clean & fresh when we arrived, but mustier by the day. Our tv remote had issues but after several tries, got it handled. The staff at the front desk were wonderful. Our check-in was tricky because their computer systems weren\'t working. They figured it out quickly! What I didn\'t like is there was only cold water in the shower. We asked them if it could be fixed, they offered to move us to another room, but we had already unpacked and didn\'t want to have to move. We were hoping they could just fix it, but I guess not. A cold shower was not what we needed after a long day of traveling! Also the food in the "restaurant" was not very good, and kind of pricey for what you got. My husband ordered a mushroom swiss burger, and it was terrible!

When we got there, check in went smoothly. When we got to our room, we had issues. We reserved a king bed with a lake view. We got a parking lot view. We would have lived with that but, we couldn't get the door to latch shut. When we went downstairs, there were no other rooms with king beds available. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel.
