The hotel was old but it was clean. The pool was too small to swim in. The continental breakfast was frozen sausage biscuits, bananas and small yogurt. The TV was horrible. We downloaded our own streaming services just to have something to watch. If buffered the entire time. Loved the area and found nicer places to stay next time.

Older hotel that has had some updates. Not pet friendly. The pool is about the size of a larger hot tub. It’s where all the public parking is for beach access. Like other reviews, no cleaning of your room during your stay. The housekeeper is friendly, and will give you anything you ask for. For the price, It’s ok. If I would of booked my trip earlier, this would not of been my 1st pick.

Beautiful views. We had a 3rd floor and listened to the ocean all night. As other review have said it is an older hotel. Furniture is is good condition. Bring your own pillows, theirs are flat. The bed is comfortable. We had a microwave and 2 refrigerators. The staff refreshed our towels and took the garbage daily. Our room was a corner room, which gave us views straight forward, and on the other side. There is no guest laundry.

The carpet in our room was horribly stained and dirty. One lamp did not work. I moved my lamp back and it was discussingly fithly. I covered with a towel just to put my warer bittle on it. There was old food under the chair cushion. The sheets were paper thin. Old place. The breakfast was nothing to speak of. Not for us. Pictures looked much better and the weekend price was ridiculous. One and done.

Nice hotel with great balconies overlooking the ocean. We stayed on the third floor but it looked like the first floor had good views of the beach and water. Very laid back island.

The location has an amazing view of the ocean. It's an older property, furniture is dated, but comfortable. The room size is decent. We would stay again in the summer when its warmer to enjoy the beach. Stay on an upper floor for a view.

The location being on the ocean is great. It was across the street but very doable. You do have to book a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor in order to see the beach/ocean. Can't hear the waves though. Air conditioner pretty load but you get use to it. Building just a little old but for a night or two it's fine.

First time visit to the area. Great location, view of the ocean from the room. Free parking, walking distance to shops and a few restaurants. Our room was a little dated but clean, comfortable with a view. I did see inside another updated room look very nice.

We reserved this hotel for our honeymoon for its location and the price was affordable. The room was ok, what was not acceptable was the room service. We stay there for 4 days and the bed was never made or sheets changed. We had to keep asking for towels. The breakfast was ok. We would not recommend this hotel.

The Lodge deserves a fair rating at best. The location is the only very good feature of the motel. The rooms are very dated and in dire need of updating. None of the three lamps matched and they were very old and one was broken. The King bed was a mattress and box spring on a frame , no headboard. The sink was cracked and the clothes line in the shower was broken off the wall. The lock on the balcony door was broken. Our room was "cleaned' once during the week and I had to ask for that. The staff said they were shorthanded and would get to us but they didn't! We had to find them to get clean towels every day. The bath towels are paper thin and were like sand paper on your skin when drying off. the exterior of the building is appealing and well kept but the rooms are in very bad condition and in need of a complete overhaul. like I said, the view of the ocean is the only good thing about the motel. There are much better accommodations available in that price range.

Room was great and clean. Very close to the beach. We got there an hour early for check-in and it was a breeze checking in. I got to meet the owners when we checked out. They were good people and took customer service seriously. Will stay again in the future.

If you want easy everything for a chill experience, this is your place. Quiet and the beach is literally across the street. There's traffic due to it being tourist season, but you won't even notice it. I will be making this my go-to when I visit going forward.

This is a great place to stay across the street from the beach entrance. No buildings in front of it so you have a great ocean view. They don’t serve breakfast but the is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room and Publix is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Great restaurants within walking distance too. We will be back.

It is almost 3 miles from the main attractions, by car about 5 minutes depending on the traffic, it has a beautiful view of the beach, the room a little old but everything clean, the service very friendly and good, everything was perfect.

Our stay was good. Be aware that the public beach that is in front of the hotel also has public parking and a public street between the hotel and the public beach so you'll constantly hear vehicles pulling in and leaving along with doors shutting. The room was clean and the bed was a king and it was comfortable. The area surrounding the hotel looked new and updated and had a Publix grocery store within walking distance. I would stay here again.

This is an older property, but clean and well kept. Our room on the top floor had a private balcony, which was fun when there was thunder. We could see the beach through the window, and walk to the beach easily. The breakfast was not much -- a bit of pastry and juice. There is a grocery store nearby, and a fridge in the room, so that was an easily fixed problem.

The location, the cleanliness and the view of the ocean cannot be beat from this hotel. But it is an older hotel with doors that open to the outside instead of an interior hallway like newer hotels. The free breakfast is poor. I actually would stay there again, but I was not expecting the Ritz. Friendly staff.

Great value for this mom-and-pop hotel within walking distance of the beach, Publix, and nearby restaurants! All rooms have a balcony with a sight of the beach! Breakfast was a true continental breakfast with bagels, muffins, yogurt, although there were no cereal options.
