We checked in at 10pm. Was not told that there was construction happening from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm until we asked. We were told that it would not happen on Saturday but, there they were. We were not offered a different room. We were told we could checkout on go to another hotel. Will not stay there again

Convenient location for Spring Training games at Ed Smith Stadium. Also only 5.9 miles to St Armand's Circle/beaches. Room was sizeable and nice. Breakfast was pretty good. Parking was not great...had to park on other side of building several times.

We were pleased with our room, it was bigger than expected and even had a full size fridge. Staff was friendly, but some didn’t speak English well. The breakfast every morning was really nice and coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. Only thing that was disappointing was the Hot tub was broken our entire stay :( We booked our hotel based on 3 things, pool, hot tub, and breakfast. Such a bummer the hot tub wasn’t hot.

A well kept older property. Parking is a problem because it seems there are more cars than rooms because of work guests with multiple cars and or visitors. We parked on the other side of the property (overflow lot) from where we were staying 2 out of three days of our stay. We'll try somewhere else next time we are staying in Sarasota.

The worst Hilton hotel I’ve stayed in. Hallway carpets are dirty. They use heavy plug ins to musk the smell of old carpets. I had to hold my breath every time I was going to the elevator or in the main lobby. The concentration was so heavy that you couldn’t even smell breakfast food. I’ve no idea how other quests could actually sit in the breakfast area and eat their food when it felt like someone sprayed the plug in in your nose. The front desk clerk in the morning shift (a middle aged man) was always very rude. Basis questions were met with hostility by him. We had to wait for the second shift to ask for anything, like trash bags, toilet paper, clean towels, fix the patio lock which was broken, etc. They also have limited parking. We always had to park far away on the other side of the building because all parking spots by our room were taken.

Tiny room, can’t even close bathroom door without squeezing yourself beside the toilet. Have to turn sideways to shower bc it’s so small. Roaches in room, toiletries not refilled, closet door off track, not enough hangers, breakfast options were not fresh. Pretty bad experience.

It’s a pet friendly hotel, but room was smelly. I needed to spray lysol on room, carpet and curtains to make room acceptable for my taste. Hotel management should consider ways to address this topic, which may be not dedirable for all customers.

The 1st room we got was not only dirty butt the toilet wouldn't flush! They put us in a 2nd room and it was just as dirty. There was dried food all over the front of the dishwasher and dead silverfish and mold in the shower! The pool had dirt in the bottom of it and needed to be cleaned. When we booked the hotel it looked nice from the online pictures....but the pictures were very deceiving and probably taken 15 years ago!! We expected more from a Hilton hotel...very disappointed 😞

I stayed here a few years ago and was pleased with the property and value, which was why I booked again. However, it now has a rundown appearance. The room looks shabby, the kitchen cupboards are not that clean, and the white paintwork in the room is grubby. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom area was clean, although there is rust in the shower. The other issues are a lack of privacy curtains (the curtains do not pull right across, allowing people out side to see in when the lights are on. Also there is very limited parking near the rooms. This is particularly unacceptable when one is traveling alone. Fortunately, I was allowed to park close to the reception in a space not usually designated for parking.

the front staff was very nice, the pool area very nice, clean and lit. I thought water a bit to warm but kids loved it lol. the free breakfast is also a plus. very upset with the issues i was having with my key card, i must of had to come down to the desk atleast 20 times cause it wasn't opening our room door. Then i had unauthorized charges on my checkout for the food pantry and i still had to pay it!!!!

From the moment I walked in the front door and was greeted by Victor at the front desk until I left at the end of my stay I could not have been happier with my stay. Kathleen, who helped with the amazing breakfast buffet was helpful and so friendly. Well everyone was so friendly. I loved your hotel experience and will definitely stay there again.

Showed up late due to our flight delays, but tried to call the hotel more than once to let them know we were going to be late. There wasn’t any answer. When we showed up around 5am, the front desk attendant was sitting in the corner on her phone. She informed us that they cancelled our reservations because we “no-showed.” We were also charged a cancellation fee as well.we had to buy more rooms on top of what we had already paid prior too, and the additional cancellation fee. Around 6am, we finally got in to our room, I reached out to Expedia, and they also tried to call the front desk, with no answer. We were issued a refund, but not a full refund at the end of the stay.

I specially liked the staff. I hope you have Victor, the Venezuelan, who was very kind and welcoming. The lobby is a nice space and the breakfast was great. The room had everything I expected and more, even full kitchenware. You will enjoy your stay.

Breakfast did not have fruit cut up or yogurt without syrup in it. Bananas day 2, not in day 1. People at the desk were very good. Both Claudia and the Sunday morning check out woman were efficient and pleasant. We got extra towels when needed. We usually try to stay at Homewood Suites when we travel.

Truly an amazing stay! Can't recommend this hotel enough. The hotel staff was incredible, especially one worker at breakfast that offered activity suggestions for my family to enjoy while we were in the area. The definition of hospitality, for sure! The breakfast was incredible, so many great choices and all tasted great (and we've had a few hotel breakfasts in our days). The entire space was clean, very well taken care of, and surpassed all of our expectations in many ways. We are definitely coming back, and telling all of our friends and family to do the same!

Room for a large group. Our room had two double beds and a pull out couch. Breakfast was really good. They offer a make you own breakfast tacos.
