Great pool area!

The pool was beautiful with an amazing sunset

Did not like $25.00 plus tax self parking

It was a solidly average experience. A few goods (front desk staff, view of the water, check-in process) and a few bads (AC unit in room was extremely loud and couldn't sleep with it running - not a great problem to have in Florida, unimpressive deck area for the pool and no towels at first). Did not meet expectations for almost $300 for 1 night.

Pool was not clean. Stuff floating in the water and water was "funky". Hotel was nice and location was excellent. Room was clean and housekeeping was great. Pool was only disappointment. Overall, stay was good. Not sure why we had to pay $18 a night for parking. Seemed like a cash grab from a greedy corporation.

Horrible to FORCE customers to pay for parking. I’m currently staying at a resort and they don’t even charge parking.

The room was below average to say the least for such a high price. Want to charge $19 for parking but don’t even offer shuttle to the airport. Would not stay there again. Will make sure my friends and family don’t. I will say though, the area is very nice and clean, little private beach I suppose.

Overall, property was good. Check-in and Check-out were convenient. Staff was friendly. They were apparently out of coffee in the entire hotel (except decaf). Shortages in items are a thing I get it but frustrating none the less when you're used to your daily dose. Was expecting the pool to be the hang out place in the evening to unwind from the day, but you could tell it was never cleaned throughout the day and each night it was filled with garbage and debris. Natural debris would be acceptable but sopping piles of tissues/napkins and floating toothpicks, etc not so fun to swim around.

It was an average hotel. Had red stains on the carpets. Room was fairly dirty

Switched room because of nasty sewer smell. Bathtub in both rooms barely drained and filled up after every shower. Toilet barely flushed.

Our first room was dirty and there were feces in the toilet. The 2nd room we were moved too smelled like sewage and the hotel manager confirmed the smell was from a backup sewage pipe. We were offered no discounts or reductions for the nights we slept in the sewage smelling room. This place is very dirty and my wife had the worst stay because it was so dirty. The staff member who checked us in was very kind so she should be appreciated. Don’t go here.

Outside looked nice, but once inside the room - awful. The rooms are super old, faucets leaking, toilet had black residue, smelled old, doors, carpets - at least 20 years old. Definitely needs a facelift.

free warm chocolate cookies. the room cleaning isn't consistent. One day they cleaned one day they skipped even we asked the front desk to clean our room, but they didn't. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels at the front desk constantly. We paid so much for the room and the room isn't nice at all.

I walked in to a beautiful lobby and the clerk at check-in was very friendly. Immediately though, as we were walking down the 1st floor hallway, the overwhelming smell of mildew was evident. I just hoped our room didn’t smell like it but SURPRISE, it did! The room felt humid and smelled like mildew, the bed was super hard and pillows too worn. It looks like the pics, but is totally deceiving. Needless to say, we got no sleep. I’m usually not one to complain but this was very disappointing and I vowed to write a review. Thank goodness the stay was only for a night and we arrived late, but, I would never recommend spending the $$ on this hotel!

Rooms were not cleaned and not maintained, we moved from one room because the room had sheets that had not been cleaned. When we got to our second room we didn't have a clean bathroom and was moldy. For being a Double Tree property you would expect the hotel to be in good condition but it needs much updating and will not be staying at this hotel or another double tree property. Even the pool needed to be cleaned and maintained. This property is a 1 star in my opinion maybe a 2 star just because of the location and amenities.

Unfortunately we did like our room. It was room 102. It has a view of 3 air conditioning units lined up right in front of the window. There’s A dumpster and it’s on the ground floor so you can see ppl behind thin bushes.

It's in a good location with a good view. The restaurant isn't much but the food was good. The walls of this hotel are SUPER thin, you can hear people talking through them and when they turn the TV on you PRAY they turn it off before you go to bed.

Overall good experience. The views are beautiful, but the room we stayed seemed a little outdated. There’s no vent in the bath room and it’s a dusty. The sink is not easy to work with, it’s strange ; i thought it was broken.

Rooms were clean

It was fine. Clean and comfortable. A bit dated and the AC unit was loud. Good location and nice view of you have the pool view…otherwise you’re looking at the parking lot. One of the dresser drawers was broken. We ate dinner one night at the hotel bar. My grouper sandwich was delicious. The shrimp scampi tasted good, but not even close to a traditional scampi. The bartender made an excellent dirty martini! It was priced right, but not likely to stay there again.

Hotel was much nicer than I thought. Pool and deck was beautiful. I suggest the room with the patio, it was amazing to be able to walk right out to the pool area. Only slightly negative was the room was extremely small.

Room spacious & clean. It would’ve been nice if the front desk would’ve mentioned about the breakfast which I didn’t realize until the day of departure.

$25 a day to park and they double charged us to get out. Confusing and very slow bar and dining service. Air conditioner fan in rooms is ridiculous. Sounds like a 747 landing outside your window. Loud and causes sleep deprivation! Place is NOT worth the money..

Nice big room and big bathroom.

The staff seemed pretty disorganized. They put us in a wrong room, then after unpacked tried to move us again. Half the staff seemed pretty annoyed if you had a question. There isn't much in the area so plan on ride sharing everywhere.

I was charged twice incorrectly. All because they flagged my room as having been smoking in it, which I do not smoke at all! So I had to call and fix the issue

My family and I live local. We only stayed here to be close to my son’s baseball field for his game early Saturday. We wanted to check out this hotel amenities, view and comfort to refer colleagues coming from out of town. Also, we were going to check out the event space for a future conference. Well, not after this stay. Alyssa (night manager) was very rude, treated us unfairly due to our reservation made by “third party”. It’s like we were very belittled due to our choice of how we reserved our room. To top it off, she would not give us the king suite we paid for. I saw plenty of the same king suites available on their website while waiting 55 mins to check in. I had to call hotels.com in front of Alyssa and even after proving my reservation she took another 30 mins and then gave us probably to worse room in the hotel. She ended up giving us a room next to the elevator with 2 queen beds. She told me this room will accommodate us. I said but that’s not what we paid almost $400 for. She said then I can cancel your reservation. I answered, no. Because it’s non refundable. I didn’t want to stay at this point, I wanted to take my family home but at this point it was late and we were tired. After the long check in (we were the only people checking in the entire time except a flight attendant), we didn’t explore or even use the amenities. Most horrible stay. Hotels.com was very nice and helpful. Alyssa wasn’t.

My family and I stayed for Mothers Day weekend. We really enjoyed relaxing in the back of the hotel property by the bay and watching for the dolphins. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. I appreciated the welcoming spirit.

All in all, everybody was very accommodating and helpful. The only bad thing that happened was when I got home from my trip, I was checking my cc account online, and they had charged my card for the stay (I had already paid through Expedia). Expedia took care of it very quickly, and all is good.

Staff was great and friendly facilities where nice and relaxing rooms where clean the only thing I did or know is they charge for parking. Other than that great

Chelsee was awesome at the front desk. We had an issues with our room and she took care of us.. will differently be back.

The property was good, attended for an event this weekend, had an issue with my card prior checking in and the person over the phone was very rude, service at the restaurant was super slow, took almost an hour to deliver my food and it was cold and fries soaked.

Great location Nice hotel. Glad there were several restaurants around the hotel that were much cheaper. I would come back again . We we’re staying there for my wife’s checkup at the Moffitt Center. The drive there was a little tough from the hotel but we knew that going in.

Property was nice, but expect to catch an Uber to get to the fun around the hotel as it is not walkable.

In general, our stay was OK, but there were a few glaring issues that reflect poor management. The safe was broken because the AAA battery inside it had corroded, destroying the mother board. This reflects lack of preventative maintenance and lack of care in dealing with the little things, because the corrosion would have been obvious to anyone who bothered t check. There was no fan in the room and the windows did not open, which made the air very stuffy except when the air conditioner was on. That was itself a problem because it was so loud that when the AC went on during the night, it woke me up. After a large lunch, my wife wanted a small snack at the restaurant instead of dinner but it took at least 35 minutes just to get a flat bread pizza appetizer. I say "at least" because after 35 minutes, we gave up and walked out, so we do not know whether it was ever finished. NOTE that the restaurant was almost deserted, so it was not that the kitchen was over-worked. There were other minor annoyances that by themselves were minor, but there were too many of them to chalk it up to coincidence.

The property was beautiful with a great pool area right on the bay. The food was excellent at the on site restaurant but the service for dinner was extremely slow.

Pictures looked better than the real thing. Rooms are dark and getting worn. View from the "suite" was partial water/pool view due to the HVAC equipment. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready. They had no place to put our luggage and we had to wait over 45 minutes before we could get a late lunch in the restaurant. Restaurant service was poor, as the waiter brought our check before the food arrived. He blamed the General Manager wouldn't allow any overtime and he had to leave. He also messed up our drink order. The bartender was a great guy. This location probably isn't the best option for the area.

The on-site dining was nice and the food was good. It was confusing though with there being a host station but you had to seat yourself and the bartenders were also the wait staff and made for long waits.
