Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore

Pool is unheated - at this time of year - unusable. Shuttle service was supposed to be included but on return was unavailable - had to get an uber to get back to the airport but was never told that this would be the case. Didnt even offer to make it right. Breakfast was supposed to be at 630am start- sat and waited until 725 and still not open. Didnt even have coffee available. Do not use the Shuttle service that is being promoted on site - overbooked-overpromised. Embassy shuttle did step up and got a number of patrons close to our venue.

A $ 19 for parking is way to much

The hotel was conveniently located. The hotel shuttle is easily accessible and staff provides numerous options for dining/attractions. However, the gym has a weird smell. but the pool is well maintained. Also, the mangers reception is limited to two subpar drinks that came from unfriendly bar staff. The bar was not at all crowded!

I had booked this hotel because the clerk I spoke with told me that they had 24hr. shuttle to the airport. When we got there the clerk told us that the shuttle starts at 6am. Well my flight takes off at 6:10am. I have to be at the airport 2 hours early. It cost me almost $100 dollars to get a ride to the airport!!! I was mad!!! I won't stay at your hotel again!! Someone lied to me and I don't like that!!!!

Our suite exceeded our expectations. We received outstanding customer service from a young lady, whose name eludes me, but whose face I clearly remember. A family member arranged a Vegas trip through a Hilton representative. While the happy hour was enjoyable, the limited availability of cucumbers was noticeable. The pool was immaculately clean and well-maintained. We also made use of the workout room. The overall environment was remarkably quiet and clean.

Parking was horrible, elevators slow, charge you for incidentals no matter what, charge for parking when there isn’t hardly any parking in the very small and dirty parking garage. People park in two spaces leaving you to walk from the 4th floor. Toilet paper holder was awkward, towels dirty, weird smell in hotel

Room was very clean however hallway entrance needs attention. Evening reception not good at all and not as advertised. Restricted to 2 drinks with snacks restricted to selection of veggies.

Check in staff was courteous and provided good service. However, the room and hallway smell of mold/mildew and smoke. I tolerated it because it only for one night.

The hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable. The layout of the one bedroom with two queens was perfect for our stay. I loved how restaurants and shopping were across the street too. The location was extremely close to the cruise port also. If I’m ever in Tampa again I’ll definitely consider booking this hotel again.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned, tub had spots. Bed sheets were not clean. It’s like the cleaning person didn’t wash the comforter.. seemed like it was flipped on the other side to avoid cleaning it.

I like that the rooms were spacious. I didn’t like the lobby and hallway, they had bad smells. The lobby smelled like sewer water. And our floor smelled like mold as soon as you stepped out the elevator. I did buy a Febreeze spray for my room. I wanted my room to smell fresh.

The place is dingy, walls and carpet are dirty. The lady at the front desk ignored me for at least 5 minutes, all she had to do is say I'll be with you in a minute, but she acted like i wasn't even there. Parking was $18, ok, but its in a 4 level garage that has no elevator and is not connected to the hotel, so I had to make multiple trips up and down stairs from the garage to the hotel. The room had dirty hand prints on the walls, there was old popcorn on the floor of the kitchenette. The bathroom had hairs in the shower, and there was rust streaks on the tub. The carpet was gross and i wore shoes the whole time. Not a good place to stay.

The shower had absolutely no hot water and there was mold everywhere.

Staff were incredible. Rooms we spotless. The free snacks and drinks in the evening were amazing and the free breakfast was delicious. Staff went above and beyond.

The property could use a deep cleaning. Our room smelled moldy. Breakfast was excellent and the airport shuttle was top notch.

I was there for a Symposium, so never left after checking in. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The floor didn't look like it had been washed and there were clumps of lint around the sink area.

The Room Size was great

Great staff, clean rooms, only issue I had during my stay was the WiFi not working.

The hotel was wonderful rooms extra big. Breakfast and social hours were fabulous and great options.

I was very impressed with the room and that it had plenty of space. I appreciated the free breakfast especially with a family of 4. Then I was blown away with how fast I received responses to my questions and that they were going to let me do a late checkout that I didn’t end up needing.

The rooms are spacious but all conveniences have been taken out. The kitchen area has nothing other than 2 coffee pods and 2 paper cups. The balcony doors have been bolted locked (for safety!). The reception was very friendly, but never more than one person at the desk at any one point. The breakfast had huge lines everywhere and only a few tables. The eggs are made to order, but take 20 minutes in the lines. Overall, the hotel is looking tired, it is desperately in need of a makeover.

The noise from the interstate was more intense than I had anticipated.

The property is in a convenient location from things. However, the air in the rooms don’t get below 74/73?!? It’s Florida. The lamps not working, plugs not working? The tvs skipped or froze so often when trying to watch something. If I was staying longer I would’ve made a complaint there but was less than 24 hours.. so I sucked it up. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Great location. Super staff

When we checked in the app to self check in wasn’t working. We waited in line for 45 mins because the hotels system was also down.

Beware, this hotel sold out our guaranteed, room reservation, booked thru Hotels.com. Never book this location. We arrived at 6:30pm after being on the road for 10 hours, only to find our accommodations had been sold. Leaving us to negoate our non-refundable, prepaid overnight stay. Just don't do it. BTW, we were not the only party that the hotel took advantage of this evening. Please, don't book this hotel!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We requested an early check-in and they were able to keep our luggage safe until our room was ready. We were able to walk to a local restaurant for lunch and when we returned our room was ready.

Horrible, and completely overpriced!! Rude miserable woman at the front desk. One would be hard pressed to find a more dismal, depressing hotel.

Our check-in was horrible. The manager did not want to give me a room because the hotel “did not receive the payment from Expedia”, despite I paid for the reservation in December. Later, in about two hours they found the room after Expedia agent stepped in. It costed me a headache and high blood pressure to my wife. This was a first time I experienced such unfriendly, careless behaviour from hotel staff.

An 8 min. drive from the airport, and close to shopping areas. Good location. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Perfect for a night on each end of our stay in Florida. Close to the airport, onsite dining, nice pool. Road noise is annoying when youre by the pool, but not so bad you can't enjoy yourself.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. Convient to highways and restaurants. Will continue to stay when in Tampa

Free breakfast left a lot to desire...food not hot unless you had omelet made to order... wait in line long. Coffee machine was broken...bacon not crisp Called down for housekeeping.. room wasnt cleaned after being out all day and needed towels...no answer...called front desk...no answer...shuttle driver finally answered for front desk. ...relayed request. Pillows too hard.

Overall, purely as a clean, nice hotel, excellent. I called ahead multiple times for a fragrance-free and as scent-free as possible, room, due to allergies, noted it in my booking, called and was assured twice it would happen. I made my allergies to fragrances and scents very clear 3 x and did my due diligence. Room was clean, but had a strong fragrance. Upon arrival was actually given a room that was not fragrance free and had to be corrected. Why? The room was no where near fragrance free and it was if they only took the note in the booking and ignored it. I had no choice but to stay since my arrival was in the evening. I struggled through the night with multiple reactions to the fragrances, had to take a lot of medicines to help me through. On another note, the Manager's reception was a big disappointment. Bar staff was not friendly and the snacks were swiss cheese, crackers, celery, carrots, ranch dip and trail mix. I didn't expect extravagance, but a little more would have been more along the lines of how it is marketed and pictured on their advertisements. Breakfast, the custom omelet was okay, soggy pancakes, broken waffle mix device--employee stuck her non-gloved hand up into the spout to pull it down to let mix flow, wow, no way to warm cold hard pastry. I was surprised at the low level experience this was. Not a good experience, but having a friendly staff was nice. I could not stay here again due to the fragrances.

Everything was excellent with the exception of no acceptable dining in the hotel. There used to be a dining room for dinner but apparently they took it out…that was a mistake on their part.

Food at restaurant was not good room was humid and warm and my car was parked in the hadcap spot and when we went to leave found that it was covered in grease
