the pool was gross. i mean there was a slime on the surface that made us say "nope". pump did not seem to be running. very disappointed since that was main reason to stay.

I give it an overall grade of B. No A it's an older Holiday Inn. It's been taken care of but it has issues. The treadmill was broken. T v's gym didn't work. It had a weird smell in some areas. Like they were burning incense to cover up for the smell of marijuana.That's apparently everywhere these days. It was a convenient location.I can say that. A little loud with traffic in the morning. The staff was very nice, and it was clean.

What I liked: Convenient to Hard Rock Casino. Very Good Breakfast. Staff polite What I didn't like: Roon not serviced, elevator broke on 2nd & 3rd day. Two in our party handicapped. Had to climb stairs to get to room. They said if I would have booked direct they would have comped us, but since I booked on line through you I was not elegible. They would give me extra points which does not help me in lieu of compensation.

This hotel was very nice. The staff was great! The free breakfast was AMAZING! They had an assortment of bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cereals and pancakes. There was something for everyone! My ONLY complaint was that for the entire hotel and staff there is only 1 elevator. The hotel is only 4 floors but we waited for over 5 minutes for it each way a few times during our stay. Everything else about this hotel is great and I recommend but if you don’t have patience for longer than usual elevator waits I would stay elsewhere.

Everything was great until the hotel lost power. They really need backup generators! I am physically disabled and had a terri le ti e getting down the syairs. The stairways were very poorly lit, as well.

Not sure what happened to the shuttle bus to HardRock but when we got there they said it doesnt run anymore. I'm pritty sure thats why we booked there in the 1st place. Overall pritty good, and the breakfast was nice. AirCondtioning in room was noisy.

I booked this hotel due to the proximity to the concert venue I was attending. The location is great. The only problem we experienced was the concert goers parking in the hotel parking lot leaving no spots for the hotel guests. The only other issue was the banging noise for most of the evening from an adjoining room. Other than that our stay was great.

Floors / rugs in room were filthy dirty! Bathroom tub was dirty & gross looking. Road noise from the street was unbearable, lacks sound proofing. Way below the usual standards of Holiday Express. Building is old and a poor job of updating it is evident. The check in staff were friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good, coffe was good too. We will not be staying here again.

Our room has bed bugs! Went to the counter to show pictures. The clerk did give us another room but same thing on a different floor. Checked out and went somewhere else.

Very clean building, friendly staff there was a problem with the air in the first room, but the staff quickly got us into another room and had someone checking the air out in the first room. Great breakfast and fast easy checkout. Would most definitely stay here any time.

Like everything except for the bathroom fans not working every time I stay there, this cause mold and mildew and the caulking around the tub/shower and base boards could use freshened up. Also the carpets were stained and the walls were dirty with stuff on them

So noisy! Light sleepers will struggle with street noise, "paper thin" walls, echoing hallways, elevator sounds, etc. On the positive side, the rooms are nicely appointed. Super friendly staff! In-room amenities included a fridge and microwave. Decent WiFi connectivity. Hot breakfast included. Free parking. My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with everything available and working, as expected. This hotel is located on the busy US-301 highway, directly across the street from the Tampa Fairgrounds (the reason for my visit). A couple of restaurants nearby, but many just 10-15 min away in Brandon. Casino 5 min away. Pro tip: leave the in-room AC/fan running on low during the night, to help drown out noise from traffic and other guests.

We booked a suite for 1 night and there was enough space where 6 people didn’t feel crowded. I’ve never seen a pancake machine that cooked 2 perfectly cooked pancakes in 2 minutes. Great location. Ten minutes or so drive to the Cruise Port Parking.

Each staff member from the front desk, Manager, Kitchen, cleaning staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were treated like family. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was well rounded with many healthy, delicious choices. Great location. Thank you Diane, Troy, Ms. King, Amanda, Jason and rest of the staff. It’s the management and the employees that makes the perfect stay. Outstanding service!

The front desk female, possibly manager, had extra towels, a pillow, and blankets waiting for us upon check in because she knew we had a large family. We had an issue with the ac but it was feeling like 104 so it wasn't their fault. She moved us to another room right away! Then my Juana asked later in the night if they had milk we could buy for our son and the young man at the desk tried to give us his own milk which was super kind. This hotel was great because the staff were amazing!

The hotel itself is fine, but the person at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. He was on his phone and let the phone play while checking us in. He also had a bit of a snarky comeback when asked about the safety of walking across the street to get to the venue. It was a bit uncalled for and should definitely be improved upon for future guests.

Our stay was very comfortable and we would stay again, however, we had a 1 nite stay prior to our cruise the following day. While there are at least 4 different hotel properties to choose from in the area. There is no where to go to eat. we had to drive out to the Foot ball stadium where there is a line of restaurants to choose from . so out of the way.

We have been in several hotels across the US and this hotel was very nice. The free breakfast was wonderful. Real bacon, good eggs amd turkey sausage was amazing. I loved the cinnamon buns and hot coffee the best. My husband even enjoyed the pancakes. Nice job "Scott"

The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with questions I had about the amphitheater across the street. The room was clean and neat and I slept well. The breakfast had a nice variety, was kept clean and was pretty good—probably one of the best free ones I’ve ever had. I will stay here again when I come down for a concert here. Great inn, great staff.

The only thing I see need for improvement is the breakfast buffet. The gentleman overseeing it was very slow to replenish items that were gone forcing people to wait for the food to warm up/cook or leave without it

The front desk staff was terrific. We were there with our granddaughter for a volleyball tournament. She gave us places to go to eat. Check in was great. Very fast. She was very friendly and funny. The breakfast was good. Potatoes would have been nice, but everything was hot and good.
