Everything was wonderful. The only issue was their pool wasn’t heating so it made it real uncomfortable. The pool is part of the experience. With that said, it was only 1 week after Hurricane Milton. Everything else was great!

One of the blankets in the room had blood stains on it, the other had a hole in it and there were feathers coming out of it making a mess. The bathroom was also unclean when we check in. We had planned on spending one of our days there relaxing at the pool, but the pool was closed for the entire weekend for maintenance and we weren’t notified until we checked in and were told that if we wanted to use a pool we could walk 10 minutes down the road to the Embassy. I feel like this should be communicated to guests during the booking process. If we had known that, we would have stayed at another property. It was difficult to sleep because the room was noisy. The toilet ran throughout the night, and even when we closed the door to the bathroom it was still loud enough to hear. A room near us also had a dog that barked throughout the night. The parking options were ridiculous. The only option the hotel offers is $45 a day for valet. They also charge a $1 convenience fee every time you want to tip the valet using the valet website. On top of that, we were approached twice by solicitors in the lobby and at the bar during our stay. One of the staff members, Aydan, reached out to me on the send day of our trip to rate our experience. When I let them know it wasn’t going well, they offered to call me at 1:00 that afternoon to discuss it, which I agreed to. Unfortunately, Aydan never called. The rest of the staff on site was very nice though.

Hotel is in a great location however, the moment you walk into the lobby it smells funky. So first impression was not great. The staff was helpful. Rooms are outdated, one of the cabinets wouldn’t close the other one when you opened the wardrobe the door would almost fall off. Inside the wardrobe on the floor there was a black underwear left behind which is unacceptable. The bathroom for our room was so weird. It was spacious but only a freestanding sink, which I don’t think I have seen in the last decade. No place to put cosmetics, hair accessories etc. The shower curtains are so close to the walls that it keeps sticking to your body which is not hygienic especially in a place that cleanliness is not their top priority. We stayed in a room on the fifth floor, but it was facing the lobby. Guests were out there super late at night being loud and you can hear everything in the room. And to make matters worse, there was a team of teenage girls staying the same weekend and they kept running through the hallways at 11:30 at night, laughing and being obnoxious. I finally got fed up and asked them to be quiet and then I had to call the lobby and ask them to tell the rest of the girls that were out there at almost midnight to keep it down. I feel like the hotel should have some sort of rule for guests that are out there in the lobby to lower their voices after certain hours since half the rooms are all facing that central area.

My bed was awful. My body sank down into the mattress and left an imprint of where I had slept. It was old and uncomfortable. The shower had mildew in it. I was in room 1227 and heard the ice machine and folks come in and out of the elevator. There were teenagers running up and down the halls both nights. I was there around midnight, very loud and obnoxious. The pool area was very small, not what I was expecting for the price of the hotel. Access in and out of the valet was very difficult since it was a one-way street.

The bathroom was dirty. Mold spots in the shower. There was rust and dirt on the door. The mirror was discolored. Rust on the cealing. Extension cord visible. Parking was far and expensive. When I tried to get to my vehicle at night it was secluded and no one was available to let us out so we walked, which was 10 min though the maze. I was asked to pay $287. at check in when the stay was already high. For a Hilton and cost I’ll never stay again! Very disappointed!

shower tub keep on backing up with black Greasy gunk coming up from the shower drain from Tuesday night, Wednesday night, leading up to not having any water in the room on Thursday night for hours, only cleaning staff cane on Tuesday night with promise that engineers and plumbing would come to unclog the tub but no one showed up on Tuesday night. We called the front desk to informed them what didn’t happen to send someone up on Wednesday, still no one showed up, very poor service never again will I stay at that hotel. It was a terrible experience I felt we need to get compensated, and the compensation that was given because my hotel was not booked by the hotel but by Expedia so I’m hoping Expedia can compensate me for my daily terrible experienceat at this Hilton hotel in Tampa Florida .

The property is in a great location. We were able to Uber everywhere we wanted to go for less than $20 a trip. The staff was great and the property was clean. It does look a little old and there are no microwaves in the room, which makes it difficult to heat up your food.

Stayed here for a night. Thankful it was only one night. Rooms are not sound proof. Our room overlooked the indoor atrium. The entire night we heard people yelling and partying not to mention anytime a neighboring guest closed the door it echoed in our room. We were up most of the night. Even said something at check out but all they did was apologize! I’m not a light sleeper. Hotel was also renovating certain sections. Exterior is aesthetically pleasing, hotel is in a convenient location. Expensive and loud stay!

The property is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and professional. A few items that turn a 5 star rating into a 3 include: room fridge was warm and coils covered in ice so it was unusable. The bedroom safe battery was dead and it needed to be serviced to work. Otherwise, we liked the hotel, the bar area and the room overall.

The property isn’t maintained well. Was given a room lower configuration than paid for. The elevator was so shaky and noisy. The room AC wasn’t working. I paid for the stay in advance via Orbitz. Then I game my credit card at check-in for incidentals. At that time they didn't inform me that I would be charged an extra $35 per night resort fee. I didn't find this out until I saw my receipt at checkout. I have to say I’m honestly shocked and disappointed with the front desk staff during my recent stay at Hilton Downtown Tampa, especially on 8/18 and 8/20. When I asked simple questions, instead of getting helpful information, I was met with dismissive and unfriendly answers. The lack of courtesy and willingness to assist left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. For a hotel that carries the Hilton name, I expected far better treatment. The experience really ruined what should have been a comfortable stay.

We had planned to stay for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 night. The marketing shows a restaurant called 211. After a long day of a conference there, we went to the restaurant to see a paper sign "We are closed" at 8PM. The marketing hours= open until 11PM. Front desk had told us that because of the daily resort fee, you get $30 off at the restaurant and the pool bar that also has food. Their marketing tells you that there is a pool bar with snacks. So, we walked to the pool bar and there was zero bar, zero staff, zero food or snacks. The only thing open was the very small lobby bar that had about 100 customers, we waited for 30 minutes without any staff waiting on us. We hadn't eaten all day and now it was about 8:30PM. So, we went back to our room, and I called guest services. She said if we wanted a sit-down dinner, there are 2 restaurants across the street. If I would have known that, we would have made restaurant reservations ahead of time somewhere else, but the Hilton's marketing tells you that they have a restaurant and a pool bar. There is a marketplace, but that is like chips, etc. My husband is disabled, so we had to cross a busy road and then go to a restaurant with a long wait because no reservation. Returning to the room, we had almost no sleep due to crystal clear noises from the hall and rooms on each side. We had breakfast at 211 and was nice. My husband has cancer was not feeling well from being exhausted from all of this, so we had to return home.

Elevators kept breaking and once was shaking violently on our way up to the 9th floor. It was terrifying. The Starbucks staff in the building had horrible attitudes and messed up a drink twice. Creepy large amount of men for a wedding that mostly looked like mob or cartel staring at my gf constantly.
