Great location. Walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, the river walk, and the arena. Plenty of seating at the pool. Stayed for 3 days pool was only packed on Saturday. Room was clean but not super modern especially the bathroom. Restaurants on site were average, but convenient if you don’t want to leave the property. Food was bland at the Mexican spot Lona for example, but bartender was awesome. Would eat off site for better options. JW Marriot is right across the street and connected by sky bridge so you can easily bounce between the two hotels for drinks etc. No issues with staff they were all friendly. Nice property overall mostly paying for convenience and location for what they charge here. Think overnight parking is $50 a night so would recommend using uber/lyft and walking when possible.

Nice place but the beds were not comfortable and hard. The wait times for the elevators were 15-20 minutes, up or down. Plus not all of them were working with an extremely high volume of guests due to an event at the convention center near by. Drinks and food were average. Although a convenient location to a number of things to do and see, we have stayed at nicer places for the price it cost us to stay here.

Hot tub had been removed, charging for the seating at the pool area where you could see the boat show. Ridiculous. Expensive for the night. Different cost than what I signed up for. Paying for parking. Way over priced for what you get.

Very nice Hotel but our stay was a nightmare. A convention going on and hundreds of people blocking the elevators that only 1 of 6 was even working! I couldn’t even go down to the pool because would have been an hour or more to get back. Could not see an employee over the sea of people where the stairs were.

This is a great hotel that I would gladly stay at if I ever return to Tampa. This was my first time and it was very convenient to Hyde Park and Ybor City, as well as getting on and off highways when necessary. The staff is courteous and competent. The gym is really nice. The pool and pool deck were great too. I didn't have great weather while there so didn't use it hardly at all, but it seems like a great place to hang out

Room and amenities were great, but paying $50 a day for valet parking and it taking over an hour to get our vehicle. When asked valet for valet the response was here are your keys you can go look for your car. No right

We loved the ambiance, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We loved the pool and the exercising room. The people were so friendly and the beds were super comfy. I will definitely be back again!

We had very high expectations for this hotel. However, on the first night we found a roach in our bathroom. Staff was friendly and accommodating but the hotel needs some upgrades and pest control services.

The hotel was very clean from the lobby and pool areas to the elevators to the room. The pool area was large with plenty of seating, very nice pool with perfect views of the sunset. Full gym was nice including eucalyptus towels. Lobby was comfortable to sit and wait for my ride, plenty of food choices with restaurants onsite, including coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our room was spotless and updated with a large balcony and views of downtown. I would definitely return and opt for a room with a city view balcony. Only complaint would be the pool restaurant and bar is only open on weekends, I was there during the week so it was closed my entire visit and I would have loved to enjoy drinks and food by the pool. Rooms are pricey, however I was not disappointed with the upgraded feel of the hotel and exceptional service.

The room and hotel were lovely. However, we paid extra for a balcony room. The outside of the sliding glass door on the balcony was green, dirty and smelled from the mold on the door. Looked like it hadn't been clean in years. Disgusting. When you pay extra for a balcony room you would assume you could sit on the balcony. That was was very disappointing.

The property was okay overall, but I don’t think I’d stay here again. The location was nice (right on the water) and the views were cool, but the room felt old. There was a stain on the rug between the beds, and the Kleenex holder needed to be replaced. Also, the floor that I was on (27th) was sweltering as if the air was broken. I complained to the front desk on two separate occasions, but it was never fixed. I’ll stay at a more upscale hotel next time. This hotel was just substandard.

Great plaxe to stay overnight if you are going to a TB Lightning game. Close to everything, close enough to walk too. Only issue was that laying on the bed was like laying on the floor. Super stiff.

A beautiful hotel. We were in room 832 , barn door on the bathroom, no vent in the bathroom…?? Also the toilet was unbelievably loud. We were not impressed with the room at almost 400.00 a night. Staff was top notch, restaurant’s perfection ,will return but hopefully get an up to date room.

It was close to the Amalie Arena and felt safe. While the room was clean, the bathroom had issues. The toilet ran on and off all night and it was LOUD. Even with the bathroom door closed, it was loud. The shower pressure was weak, the water was luke warm and never got hot. In addition, the water did not drain in the tub so as you shower, you are standing in soapy dirty water. Not what I would expect when I paid over $600 a night for a hotel room. Certainly expected more from a Marriott.

This hotel had wonderful reviews on Experian, and the room was around $400 a night. The staff is lovely. The room itself heavily lacks. No trash bags, the room is the size of a shoe box, no ventilation in bathroom.

We had a beautiful view after paying for an upgrade, but we were given a room right next to the bank of elevators. As we tried to go to sleep before running in the Gasparilla Distance Classic the next day, we realized that the elevators sounded and felt like subway cars passing by. After about an hour of frustration, we were given a new room, but it was only one more room away from the elevators and we could still hear and feel them. Then we were given a room that was good enough for 4 hours of sleep. After running the race, we were finally given a great room over looking the bay and pool. Upon checkout, we had to ask for some compensation for our trouble and we were given free parking. We’re not big complainers so we didn’t ask for more. We tend to stay here every year for the races, but if we do in the future we will know to steer clear of the elevator rooms which seem to be any room ending in 15 and 17.

I enjoyed the property, however the rooms do not have enough drawer space for clothing, had to use nightstand drawer. Also, the hanger rod and shelf in closet was placed so low, 3ft🤔. The design team dropped the ball with the layout.The room was not functional. Alot of waisted space! There was a bench under mounted Tv, (Who is sitting under Tv🤔?)could have been a dresser drawer with a mirror.

Not what I expected from a Marriott. Complete Chaos from trying to get into hotel and leaving hotel. It took us 45 minutes just to get into circular drive to unload. So many cars were parked in all lanes, that you could not get into the place. It was complete chaos. Then upon leaving, customers were standing outside and in lobby complaining. It was taking 1-2 hours just to get your vehicles. Again total Chaos. Marriott’s management needs to do a better job. Totally unacceptable and not what I expected out of a higher priced hotel. I would not recipe d this hotel unless you were close enough to walk there and walk home.

The staff at this facility had extremely poor communication. It felt like peeling back an onion—information was only provided when I asked for it. Upon check-in, I was simply handed my keys and told my room number, with no further details. I had to ask which floor my room was on and where the elevator was located. Since I had paid extra for breakfast, I also had to ask where it was served, as there were multiple restaurants on-site. This would have been a great opportunity for the staff to share breakfast hours and locations so guests could plan their morning accordingly. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was seated and handed a menu with prices, but no one informed me that breakfast was a buffet or showed me where it was located. Additionally, the parking situation was a nightmare. We requested our vehicle 20 minutes before checkout, yet we still had to wait over an hour for it. Overall, the lack of communication and organization made for a frustrating stay. So happy I only spent the night. My room was pleasant!

I stayed over night and I’m sorry for forgetting the name of the lady who checked me in at the front desk but she was very nice , extra helpful and it made my night after a long day of traveling. I really enjoyed this facility and I cannot wait to stay here again.

Beautiful waterfront location, very nice accommodations, clean rooms with all the amenities. Don't bother buying the breakfast ahead of time, there are plenty of options on site that are cheaper and easier. If you bring a car, be aware it is $50/day for parking. Plenty of rideshare options and lots of stuff within walking distance.

Nice hotel. Great restaurants. Downside is that when there is an event at the Arena, the police put in ridiculous traffic restrictions making it absolutely impossible to drive to the hotel. You can get stuck with no drivable acccess to the hotel. This happened to us 3 nights in a row!

Nice location and very clean. Couldn't seem to find the conceirge desk. The room was clean but they didn't replace some glasses we had used one evening. I wanted to take a bath and the knob switching from the shower to the tub didn't work. Not a deal breaker. The restaurant was superb.

Great area, Try the rooftop on the other marriot across the street, Edition hotel also has a great rooftop, for asian lovers look for Wagamama restaurant, they have great bao! The hotel has great breakfast, menu and buffet
