Review: Aloft Atlanta Downtown Rating: 3/5 Stars I have mixed feelings about my recent stay at the Aloft Downtown. While the service was top-tier, the physical state of the property left a lot to be desired. The Standout: The Staff I want to be very clear: the staff members were amazing. They were incredibly attentive and professional throughout my stay. It was obvious they were working hard to provide a great experience, and any shortcomings with the hotel were definitely not a reflection of their effort. The Experience: Unfortunately, the facility itself struggled to meet a 4-star standard: Maintenance & Cleanliness: There was noticeable trash on the elevator floor during my visit, which wasn't a great first impression. Amenities: I booked a "breakfast included" rate, but the food was fairly underwhelming and not something I’d go out of my way for again. Operational Issues: The hotel actually ran out of physical room keys, which was a significant inconvenience. Business Center: This was the most disappointing part—the business center was completely unusable as it was piled high with boxes. Final Verdict: The staff is doing the heavy lifting here, but the management needs to address the "behind the scenes" logistics and upkeep. It currently feels more like a basic 3-star property than the premium experience advertised. Great people, but the hotel itself needs a little TLC.
