Woken several times on Saturday night with the noise outside of the hotel, I understand they can’t control people outside of the building but could have better windows to defuse noise. Second night no issues.

The area is safe and quiet. Good breakfast with eggs, sausage, bisquits and gravy, waffles. Popcorn machine also. Night desk Britney? Was especially helpful and kind. Gym and indoor pool available as well. I would definitely stay again!

Much smaller than I thought, both the room and the building. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. $15 parking fee. $20 incidental deposit that I'm not certain I'll get back.

We was told at check the we had to pay $15 for parking after paying $133 for a room. This is not valet, its a parking that looks like its in a valley. I would have left but it was almost 11pm and already paid on line and it was not refundable. I am very dissatisfied !

Elevators didnt work 90% of the time. Bathroom door didn’t shut. In hallways ceilings panels missing and wires were hanging out. Parking lot very small. Right on the edge of a not so nice neighborhood. Would not recommend.

Check in was supposed to be at 3pm but we weren't allowed to check in until 4:24pm. Pool was shut down. Was also charged $15 for parking which is a little ridiculous since it's not even secured and gated parking. Would not recommended unless absolutely necessary.

Amazing stay! The breakfast was delicious and the staff in the lounge area for breakfast was the best! So friendly and helpful. All other staff were great too. Room was spotless and comfortable. Neighborhood was very nice and safe, too. Will definitely stay again!

Washcloths were described as towels. No towels were in the room. Surfaces were covered in enough dust to write “wash me.” Hallway and room smelled like carpet hadn’t been cleaned in years, horrible smell. Toilet was not clean.

The room smelled damp . Paid $190 for 1 night . A joke. The sink was clogged and neighborhood didn’t seem safe at night. I plug a whole in the wall between the toilet paper just in. Case of peep holes with camera. Nothing seems new all old and rotted . Cleaning people did the best they can with a run down hotel .

I honestly don't understand how this hotel has such high ratings. It was filthy. And when my party came to check in for our 3 rooms, one smelled SO BAD like cigarettes that it was unbearable. When we asked the reception for a room change, they said they were sold out and couldn't do anything about it. So I gave up my room and decided not to check in til that evening hoping they would clean the room. Around 11pm, I finally came back and checked in and the reception staff was super nice and moved me to a non cigarette room. Not sure why they couldn't have done that the first time I tried to check in. the new room didn't smell like cigarettes but it did overwhelming smell like baby powder. not sure what that indicates...

I had a good stay. The room was neat and clean and did not smell badly. The bathroom was clean. Everything was in order. The front desk clerk, Brittany, was incredibly helpful and kind. I had asked for more pillows, but the hotel was booked. But then suddenly, she appeared at my door with two pillows. Made my stay! I use the gym and it also was clean, and had great equipment for a small gym. The only downside was a room with the major road with lots of noisy trucks. But I use a sound machine so that helped.

I have stayed at this locations on previous occasions because of its convenient location and the professional, and personable staff. Each time, I've noticed a decline in the facilities condition. During this last stay, I encountered problems with a broken tv remote, a broken hand held shower head, and a broken connection at the water source of the shower hose. I even fell in the bathroom due to water being on the floor after the maintenance guy "repaired" the shower. In the past, parking was free. Now, this facility assesses $15/day for parking in the same area as in the past, eventhough the published information states $12/day and no other apparent changes. It seems to be a ploy to increase profits. I visit Atlanta regularly, but do not plan to stay here again as I will seek a facility where comfort at this facility again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. My problem is not just this hotel but many of them doing this new thing with the heating and air. This hotel was the worst one. I have always given them the best scores until now. The thermostat is set to 68 bung the coolest. I know they need to save money and some people may let the AC run very low but some people like it cooler at night to sleep At least do a 62-76 range and not just a 68-73 range for heat and air. I would rather pay $10 per night and be comfortable with the temperature in the room. Again, all hotels are doing this but this was too restrictive.

My battery would not start in my car the day we were leaving so I asked front staff if there was anyone that could give me a jump that I had my own cables and the person said I’m sorry no they are in a meeting right there in the lobby so no one can help you..so me and my 12’year old daughter had to stand outside flag down a stranger on the street to get a jump…not very friendly or helpful

The front desk staff was phenomenal. I truly wish I remembered their names. It’s two younger black women who I think both wear glasses and an older black gentleman. They were all super super nice to me. My only critique is they need a system where the cleaning staff comes in everyday instead of every other day. Also, they need a bigger tank for the lemon water. But besides that fantastic work. Super friendly. Super communicative. Super accommodating. 9.5/10 experience!!

The front desk staff, especially Roshanda, were especially hospitable. We were comfortable, we were cared for, and every need was meet. They more than made accommodations for my family. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. I will visit again and will stay with this establishment no matter the distance.

Hotel was fine. It was check in that was a turn off. When I came to the door to check in it was locked. Pushed button and gentleman opened door. I commented when I came in that it was a first that door had to be opened at check in. He got defensive right away then it was as if he judged me and was nasty to me. I’m not from the city, never experienced the dangers but I didn’t need some guy making feel like crap. Then I gave him my name and “he couldn’t find me” and started be nasty saying I was at wrong hotel. I was dumbfounded and honestly didn’t want to say wrong thing. Awful I have to walk in on eggshells from the get go. Turns out he spelled my name wrong (after I showed him on my phone my reservation). I used the link the hotel sent for Google directions so I knew I was at the right hotel. Honestly it is sad when you are judged by your skin tone from the get go. When he asked if there was anyone else with me. I told him my boyfriend, when he found out he was Turkish it was as if his whole manner changed. Hotel was awesome. But first impression was not. I wanted to submit this after I left the hotel because who knows….

If you plan to use public transportation the Merta is about a mile away. The food in the area is a little on the high side. But there are some affordable options just not alot. The staff here are so friendly and funny. The breakfast was a standard hotel spread but we really loked the biscuts. Not hard they were fluffy but still dense enough for gravy.

I enjoyed my stay here. I came down from MS to enjoy a night out with my friend for her birthday. It was super close to the club Havana, within walking distance, which is super convenient, and getting back in late at night was super safe, as you cannot enter the lobby without your room key. Thank you for having clean rooms too! That was a big make or break for me. I'd stay here again!

Overall the place was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the showers were nice and strong. It is located in not the greatest area, I was kind of worried that my car was going to get broken into. (The car was fine) It is good if you just need a place to sleep and is convenient to get to downtown ATL.
