Hampton Inn - Atlanta Perimeter Center

It was not a typical Hampton inn. It was so run down.

The furniture was old and torn. The curtains wouldn’t shut all the way. . The toilet wasn’t clean. Granted my room was next to the elevator but I heard every time the elevator was stopped on my floor.

Staff was very nice. Most cooked breakfast items were not good. Over or under cooked. The dining chairs were VERY worn out. The bed mattresses were also very worn out. It's time to update the furnishings guys.

Hampton Inn has always held a certain standard regardless of the location. This is the exception. The building, rooms , everything wasn’t as good as every other Hampton Inn. Staff was rude, multiple unauthorized attempts to charge my debit card. I would have stayed at different hotel.

Upon arriving the lobby was extremely hot. We got to our room an there was blood on the sheets as well as pubic hair, the floors in bathroom hadn’t been mopped and there were what looked like urine on the floor by toilet, and it wreaked of dog. When I mentioned this to the desk person, there was no apology and he placed me in another room. While I was waiting to be placed in another room, a guest was in the lobby with her dog running loose jumping on people. I noticed the guy behind counter looking and did nothing about it. The next room was just fine, but smelled like dog and a very very strong perfume that was trying to mask the scent. Having the experience with the first room, we were just uncomfortable knowing housekeeping wasn’t doing their job. Breakfast was lower than average hotel breakfast and decided not to eat. I booked this stay based off of customer reviews, but we did not have the same experience as most of the others had. The ONLY positive about this place was the bed was comfortable. Even the other people staying in the hotel lacked any type of respect for people and slammed their doors day in and day out. Didn’t matter the time of night. Now that’s not the hotels fault, but still a downside of our experience. After this experience I called Hilton customer service and was told that within 72hrs I would receive a call back because I made a formal complaint and it’s now been a week so I’m assuming I won’t be hearing anything back from them either.
