Our stay was impacted by a few issues that affected our overall experience. At check-in, we were informed that adjoining rooms were unavailable. While we were placed a few rooms apart, this was manageable. However, upon entering our room, we found the bathroom floor was wet. After cleaning it, the water returned. Maintenance confirmed the toilet needed to be reset, and we were moved to a different room—unfortunately, not next to our family as initially promised, but at the opposite end of the floor. The next evening, a thunderstorm caused a power outage. A colleague became trapped in an elevator for over an hour. It appeared staff were unprepared or unable to open the doors, and the fire department had to be called. A staff member later implied she shouldn’t have used the elevator, but there was no clear signage, and hallway lights were still on—likely due to battery backup—so we were unaware of the outage upon entering from the back parking lot. While we understand the outage was beyond the hotel’s control, the response could have been more professional and efficient. On a positive note, staff interactions at check-in and check-out were pleasant. We did not use the dining or pool facilities, so we cannot comment on those.

The hotel was clean and check in was fast but after this it was all very disappointing. We were told we only had 1 roll of toilet paper in the room for 2 people staying 3 days. Also, the hallways all smelled musty or humid. We were happy the hotel had a pool as it was beginning of September and very hot. We got dressed and went down to the pool since the hotel website advised it WOULD be open until October and guess what? CLOSED! When we asked the front desk they said they closed on Labor Day!!! Then the hotel also has conference rooms holding church services all weekend and the parking was forever full from all the visitors NOT staying at the hotel. They have no online checkout process so when leaving it was a nightmare line. Also, they have a minute pet relief area which NONE of the employees even knew they had, I found it on my own and of course no baggies and full of fog waste. Beautiful reception and bar area but rooms are forgotten and not even a microwave in the room and the fridge barely cooled. The a/c was barely cooling the room and this is GEORGIA and still summer. All in all would not come back to this location.

Pool was closed and website stated it would be open, closing for the season in October, i was there 9/11 - 9/12, way before October. Expedia did more to make it right than DT Hilton. Really Hilton? I think you could have done more than free breakfast buffet one day. For Pete's sake you have annual net income of around $1,539 million. Speaking of the buffet... the worst biscuits and gravy ever, no taste whatsoever, more like glue. McDonalds BnG are better. Be more creative with breakfast. Staff was friendly from front desk to dinning to maid service. the room and property are what i expected, they met average conditions.

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was its outdoor pool which was closed because they could not get the chemicals correct. They kept saying that the pool would open in about an hour but it repeatedly got pushed ahead. The front desk person was rarely at the desk to answer the phone

There was an event hosted at the hotel and there was no parking for the guest that stay at the hotel. Also I have stayed at this hotel 4 times this year and the place is going down. Ice machines on 4 of the floors broken, walls cracking, people smoking all around the door. I loved staying here but I’m not liking what I see

This place was just poor. Garbage overflowing outside. Furniture stained and dirty. Dirty carpet, some areas filthy. Staff was walking around spraying something around guests over surfaces. Curtains dirty and poorly maintained. Staff was ok, for the most part. This property needs to be renovated, and fast and properly maintained.

From the outside looking in, everything was great. Check-in was great. Loved the warm cookie. Staff was kind. However, the hotel - from the lobby to our floor and room - smelled horrible, like a wet, moldy carpet. Staff was kind enough to spray the room, but that didn't last through the night. When we called to order food from the onsite cafe, no one answered, so we had to go to the lobby. Also, room service didn't start until 10 am. So, when we needed an extra wash cloth (which should have already been in the room), we were told to go to the front desk. Just not the best service.

This was not the best stay. The curtains in the room had throw up on them. The bathroom door kept coming off the hinges and causing issues. Was unable to close the bathroom door all the way to have privacy. The tub would stop up in the morning. I will never stay at this Double tree again

Double tree hotel wasnt a bad property to stay at, but the ammenties need to be updated. No microwave, charge for breakfast parking in front is hard to find, internet is barely online. Website is the opposite description. Rooms are not bad overall just need a door for the bathroom to give guess more privacy. Hot water is great here though.

The room is very spacious with high ceilings. Doesn’t have a smart tv which kinda sucks. We had to get an extra set of sheets for the pullout couch but the staff was quick to get us what we needed. Only true negatives is that our sink in the bathroom did not drain and we didn’t have a microwave and we couldn’t find one in the lobby.

We were able to check in and out quickly and the reps were very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was clean and the area was actually very quiet. Only downside was the AC didn’t seem to go lower than the original setting so we were much warmer than we would have liked to be. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will recommend!

When we arrived at the hotel, the parking lot smelled like marijuana once we got inside and got to our room. The entire hallway smelled like marijuana that lasted until the next morning when we checked out. The restaurant food was decent. We ordered room service. Except the person taking our order didn’t take down my name and only asked my room number and didn’t write it down after about 45 minutes. I walked back to the restaurant to check on the food and was told he forgot my room number. The floor in the room seemed like it had crunchy spots on the carpet from where something was spilt and not cleaned up properly. The sharp bed-frame stuck out from the edge of the mattress about an inch or two just enough to catch your leg on.

Overall this was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were cleaned everyday and restocked. The hotel breakfast buffet was $18.99 per person, so a tad pricey. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. I would recommend asking not to be on the first floor though. We were on the first floor located by the entrance and the rooms are not sound proof.

Very understaffed. The front desk was often left unattended. The menu was very limited. When my room was serviced, the coffee and tea were not replenished. Warm cookies were often not available. I was told that I was being signed up as a Hilton rewards member and that did not happen. I will go to Marriott across the street next time.

Frontdesk was enormously friendly and responsive to make sure we got a room with properly working climate control, especially Derek and Melcom made sure the whole team gave their best efforts to resolve issues for a pleasant stay. Hotel management should invest a bit more in repair, maintenance and renewal of broken equipment and furnature to match up with the nice service

I only have 2 responses to make, the 1st was that the bartenders were more interested in watching the football game that interacting with the guests at the bar. Secondly the restaurant staff seem to not be able to get it together time for the restaurant to open that morning for breakfast! But the young lady who checked me in front is was outstanding, she was knowledgeable, professional answered all my questions about the local area and the hotel services.

DIrty carpet, especially in our room Headboard had the vinyl covering flaking off. Top of toilet tank had a crack in it. The toilet paper holder was loose and would not hold the roll. The shower had some vinyl lining around the door that was flopped and needed trimming.. Check in was slow - not enough help and the staff seemed to struggle with the reservations. Last year, our convention was at Embassy Suites in Chattanooga and it was a world of difference.

The room was very spacious but could have been a little cleaner. The carpet in our room and in the hallways had spots, especially what looked like large drops of fresh blood going down the hallway to the ice machine area that was never cleaned the entire three days we were there. The common sitting area around the check in desk was unusually warm, as if the air was not working properly. The buffet breakfast at $18.99 a person offered the same types of food (frozen/reheated eggs, French toast sticks, bacon and sausage along with cereals, yogurts, muffins etc) that we typically find at hotels offering free breakfast. For that price I expected maybe a waffle maker or someone making omelets to order. Since they also use the same area for dinner service, I assume they do have a kitchen they could make breakfast items.

I do wish a sit down restaurant was on the premises but the bar was ok with decent selections. Also the buffet breakfast should serve some food variations day to day or lower the price. On the second day the food was not as good, for that price.potatoes dry & overcooked or warmed up too much. The fruit was too ripe or some too ripe. The cleaning could be much better. The sheers in the room were dirty and ripped in spots. There was lots of confusion at the front desk. I’ve machine out of order on the floor and one “1” small microwave located in the eating area of the hotel no microwaves in the rooms. No free coffee in the lobby area.

I feel it's absurd to charge $3 for a bottle of water, or $3 for a fresh cup off coffee. Instead. I went to CVS and purchased a six-packs of evian water and an 8 pack of Maidon Perrier sparkling water. for an average of $1.20 per serving. And we needed almost all 14 servings. Your water would have cost us $42 That's just wrong. Sorry. And I went to Dunkin for coffee.

We visit the Hilton for a 4day Family Reunion. The check in staff was very professional, courteous and accommodating. Parking was convenient. Our room carpet had a large bad stain in the middle of the floor. The bathroom toilet tissue holder was hanging off the wall. We visit the dining room for dinner. Our waitress was very courteous. But my wife’s dinner was very salty. The Alfredo sauce was very salty and runny. My dinner was fair. It feels like a waste of money down the drain. The Saturday evening Family dinner was excellent. The servers were on point and poised in professional attire and service. They served over 150 family members in a timely manner. The food presentation was spectacular. The meal was hot and tasty.

It's a beautiful hotel, has a large ballroom, very spacious sitting area. The Bar/ lounge is also nice. The pool is an okay size, and parking was available. Staff were professional. The undesired (room) footstool has a noticeable rip in it. The chair at the deck was extremely dirty. The sheer curtain had multiple rips in it. Some of the guests were extremely noisy and had no consideration for others. The breakfast was expensive and not few lot of options. The breakfast was expensive and had few options.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I also really enjoyed the bar—great food and drink options made it a nice spot to relax in the evening. I would definitely stay here again.
