It was OK for the price honestly, but they claimed it didn't include breakfast and to buy some was around $20 per person. Also, the pool was about 95 degrees which is nice sometimes, but this made the pool room very hot and uncomfortable. Also, chlorine was extremely high, so it made your eyes burn after about 15 minutes. Other then that, there is free parking, which was nice,

I booke here for pool and spa, both closed for maintenance. I paid extra for a late checkout and housekeeping kept waking me. Nearby amenities like food and gas are sparse and not safe. Your staff was kind and efficient (aside from the too frequent wake-ups by housekeeping). Comfy bed and a warm shower, close to the airport. The rest was lacking

Convenient access to ATL with shuttle and available long term parking. Lobby and restaurant are nice and fairly clean. Rooms are worn with slight oders. Two stays around travel from ATL. Both room had oders and carpets looked like they needed deep clean. Chair had moist yellow stain, this is a pet friendly hotel. The ice machines on two floors weren't working, the 2nd had a sign saying go to the restaurant for ice. TV remote didn't work. I would only stay here for the convenience of long term parking and ATL shuttle. Apparently this hotel knows this and doesn't put a lot of effort keeping the property well maintained.

Convenient to the airport. Clean for the most part only one elevator was working, which was a hassle at times I did love that you have to have a room key in order to access the rooms via the elevator. Front desk, staff was not very personable or friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I don't know where those 8 stars came from, but it is not worth the money. Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The lobby furniture looked worn and in need of a good cleaning. My room didn’t fare much better—stiff, grimy-feeling sheets and a bathroom that felt neglected. There was a towel stuffed into the vent, a mismatched toilet seat, and mildew on the bathroom artwork. The frame around the toilet entrance was rusted, and a poorly done wall repair with mismatched plaster made the space look even more run-down. The shower reminded me of a middle school gym—far from relaxing. To top it off, a used towel I left behind in the morning was still there after housekeeping had supposedly serviced the room. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

We had to ask for more towels/pool towels/ and wash cloths every single day. There was a gigantic cockroach in the bathroom. The shower curtain did not close so it just sprayed water all over the floor. Housekeeping didn’t come once. The elevator is rickety, no WIFI on the TV, peeling wallpaper, and very few amenities.

There was a strange smell in my room, and so I decided to open a window. I then saw that there were numerous ants (some winged, some not) gathered around different parts of the window. (The strange smell might have been pesticide, but I don't know.) To the hotel's credit, when I showed a picture of the ants to the desk clerk, he moved me to a different room.

Someone came to my room 30 minutes later and supposedly fixed the air, during my 3 day stay the air never worked, room was very hot and humid and I was told every day someone would fix it and they never did!!!

One night stay. Receptionist was a bit curt during check-in. Room smelled of smoke. Room and common areas appeared dated, uninviting, and in need of a make-over. Receptionist was supposed to give us vouchers for breakfast at check-in, but failed to do so; I had to fix that at breakfast the next morning. Will look elsewhere for accommodations next time.

Night staff was extremely rude and standoffish. I booked here because I had a deal, but i will never book here again. My room key was given to a couple and they were told that they were checking in my room, so just imagine how nervous i was when i hear someone coming in my room after 8 PM… i wasn’t due to check out until days later. I went out the following day and came back to having to have my keys reset because none of them worked.

The staff at the Sonesta ATL South is what makes this stay excellant. The manager works very hard to accommodate the guests when something goes wrong. She is very professional and kind which positively influences every aspect of their customer service. The building itself needs care, and they go out of their way to make sure everything is working properly. Would definitely stay there again❤️

The hotel was nice, the check-in was not. It started at the airport, I called to see how did the shuttle worked and they cut me off and let me waiting for more than 20 min on the line. I ended up figuring it out on my own. At the hotel there were two employees at the front desk, only one was doing the check in and there was a big line. The person was clearly overwhelmed and was cutting corners to a point that had attitude toward the guest.

The staff was rude and lacked customer service skills. The older lady with the grayish salt/pepper hair was rude and unhelpful when I first arrived and I asked her was it possible for me to check in early. She rolled her eyes at me and said" if I had a room" and then proceeded to lean back down on the counter and ignore me.

I stayed at the Sonesta before and after flying out of Atlanta on early and late flights. I chose it because it offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport which runs every 30 minutes almost 24 hours a day. The hotel itself is showing its age but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My shuttle drivers were extremely polite and helpful, the check in desk clerk wasn’t particularly friendly but got the job done quickly and efficiently. I recommend Sonesta for convenience to ATL.

I did a one night stay at this property. There was a restaurant inside called the Burger Place that had really good burgers and they were huge the prices for the burgers range from $14-$18 which came with fries of course. They also have a bar area with tvs. Also their chicken tenders were really good which didn’t come with a side, that restaurant also serve breakfast, which was not good. I ordered a western omelette which came with house potatoes and toast. The potatoes were great but everything else was a BIG NO! The pancakes and French toast my kids had also was NOT GOOD at all. Very subpar so I will recommend only getting lunch or dinner from them. The parking was said to be $22. There is also an indoor pool, which is small but durable. I selected a two queen room which had a shower bath combo and a toilet that had its own door. The beds were OK for one night stay but it just depends on how firm you like for your bed to feel. The decor was a little dated also. I will stay here again in the future but only for the dinner at the restaurant. Also there is a $50 deposit. The area where the hotel is is not far at all from Hartsfield maybe 5-10 mins if that. The area is also quite and safe feeling. They offer shuttles that run back to back quite often.

No food options after breakfast; the restaurant is closed until dinner. The offerings of food for sale were mostly chips and sodas; one healthy option, a fresh fruit cup. No shopping in the vicinity. If you forgot toiletries, your next stop will be the airport. I went to the Hyatt and got toiletries from that hotel. The room was clean, the furniture and appliances were old. Would not recommend. The driver for the hotel shuttle was awesome!

Conveniently located to the airport with shuttle service. Very nice hotel, very clean and comfortable room. They stay was great, the concierge was super helpful and the amenities were very clean. However the poor bartender was working a Saturday night solo and even though she was terrific the service was extremely slow, the restaurant needs to make sure sufficient staff is available on busy nights.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant. They were able to answer any questions I had. The housekeeping staff are nice and accommodating.
