Pricing and location were perfect for our stay to tour St Simons and Jekyll Islands. We had a very nice room, complete with minifridge and microwave as well as coffee maker. Hampton Inn breakfasts are always dependably good. Plenty of parking as well.

The elevator broke during our stay. It was Memorial Day weekend and they weren't sure when a technician would be able to come out to fix it . We were on the 3rd floor...come out to fix it

The property location is good for getting around the island, keeping you close enough to get to things, but not terribly stuck in traffic. The property overall seemed safe, clean, and well kept. The problems we had were mostly regarding our room. The carpet was filthy - my socks were white, when I put them on, and looked like I walked on fresh asphalt in a very short time. Also, the jetted bathtub was just gross and beaten up. It looked like they tried to re-glaze an acrylic tub (including the jets), and it failed. There was mold, hair in the filter, and peeling and cracking around the tub. One spot on the floor of the tub felt squishy and was cracked. For the record, I sat on the edge of the tub to shave my legs - I wouldn’t have gotten anymore familiar with the tub than that, for my safety and sanity. The only other issue was the key cards repeatedly not working more than once - they were aware of the issue and warned customers (sort of), but it was a bit ridiculous, and continued longer than they expected. The property felt safe, and the hotel was quiet. We checked in on a Thursday, and left on Saturday.

The second floor smelled like dog and dog pre and our room have a stain on the floor which seemed to be covered in a carpet cleaner. Maybe trying to get the dog pee smell out but it was bad. I didn’t have time to go down and request another room I was busy with getting everything for my uncles wedding and my baby ready.

Couldn’t get in room until after check in time due to staff shortages. Room next to elevator which was loud and noisy. Killed a cockroach in our room. Kids running up and down the 2nd floor at 1:00am knocking on doors and yelling. Never stay here again. Told gentleman that was ready to check in about our experience and he left. I will also write review on yelp.

1st there was dry poop on the toilet the bathroom was not very clean the phone didn’t work in the room we couldn’t call the front desk we also had horrible service with the tv it kept going in and out of service

The room was fantastic! Lots of room and had an extra sink outside the bathroom which was convenient. The property was clean and the staff friendly. Had a great time in the pool one day. The area is wonderful with lots to do and see. If we went back would stay at the Hampton again.

Wow! So impressed by this Hampton location. Spacious room, high ceiling. Plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good! We've stayed at other Hamptons. This is the best one we've stayed at.

Noisy room. Running toilet in one of adjacent rooms. Ignored. Poor lighting in room. You’ve gone beyond cheap. Flimsy sheets. Ridiculous bathtub. Very difficult for someone older to safely get in as nd out of.

We got a noisy room behind the elevator and the ice machine. We asked to be moved but they told us that there was nothing else available. By the time we arrived to the lobby to cancel the room and get a refund, they had miraculously found another room.

Room was clean, comfortable, very nice. Beds were very comfortable as was the pillows and linens. Great breakfasts. Whoever was on desk when we checked in Friday evening went above and beyond my expectations to ensure our comfort all evening long- I wish I'd gotten her name. Housekeeping very professional and helpful I was juggling a large breakfast tray and they very kindly let me in my room instead of me having to juggle everything to get key to get in( it's these little things people don't notice that count- like the dietary kitchen getting me a tray when I was struggling to take our breakfast to room) I travelled with my 16 yr old dog and I couldn't leave her alone long enough to eat in dining room. I always stay at Hampton Inn if there is one near where I need it.

We wanted to split our bill and were told because we reserved online that it was impossible . Third party reservation and payment was complete. Rather rude about the situation. I did not realise this was an issue. Older motel and shier tile cracked with broken grout. I have stayed in much nicer Hampton Inn’s .

Great stay in St Simons Island. The hotel is very close proximity to downtown(biking) and very short drive. Close to restaurants! Sandy Bottom Bagels right across the street is a must for quick on the go breakfast! Hotel had a nice pool, offered free breakfast (did not utilize but looked good)! Lots of great restaurants in the walking distance especially behind the hotel! Overall great stay!

Great stay. Very friendly staff! Clean rooms, comfy beds, and pretty decent breakfast, not a whole lot for non-meat eaters. Would love to have seen some recycling bens. Great touch to receive bottled water at check-in. Wished they could do something about the 7:30am mowers/leaf blowers....oh well, probably should not have been on the bottom floor. Reasonable price.

This was my first stay at the Hampton Inn Saint Simons Island. I have been coming to Saint Simons Island for many years now and have stayed at different hotels. This is very conveniently located to anything you need to get to in town. The staff was very nice. I was there during a very busy weekend and you could tell that it was very busy. The complementary breakfast is very nice, but considering how busy it was there was a lot that was empty was not a big deal to me because I usually like to eat at local Cafés and bakeries, but I would say a little more attention needs to be spent there. And that was not anything to do with the staff again they were fantastic. I just think based upon the capacity and amount of people staying at the hotel this weekend potentially they could’ve added more staff on.
