Booked property for 3 reasons: pool, free breakfast, price Waited about 10min for someone to come to the desk for check in. I was second in line and there were 3 parties behind me. I get it, they’re short staffed, but 10min was quite awhile. The girl helped me but rushed, didn’t tell me about breakfast until I asked. We went to the room and changed, since our kids were really looking forward to the pool. Walked quite a ways to the pool- closed for remodeling. The booking listing and the front desk staff didn’t mention this. I left to go get us some food and the parking lot lights were out, which didn’t make this female feel safe. The hotel sign by the road was also not lit up. The next morning, went to breakfast, which was really minimal- not much at all. Every time I walked by the front desk- nobody was working it. Also, when we left, we looked under the bed and found a half full jug of orange juice and an earring. Yuck.

I was kind of disappointed the pool was in construction during half our stay, we were not aware of this prior to booking. Our kids were highly disappointed. It was a fantastic time though and service was always impeccable!

Property has hot tub advertised in website when asking clerk where hot tub is he was short and immediately asked if I just wanted a refund immediately after check in. Due to not my and wife’s medical conditions we were wanting a hot tub on New Year’s Eve. I suggest you take picture of pool and edit . It is very misleading!

The hotel is under construction. Not a big deal, but I would have appreciated a heads up and forewarning that my window is covered with plastic; the room smelled like smoke to which I bought air freshener for the room. The workout facility was not tended in the two times over three days that I used it. The room rate was significantly less expensive than other hotels, well, now I know why. Every space in that hotel needs to be upgraded. Old carpet, moldy shower, and cigarette smell in the room. And where is the fancy patio that is on your website?? Radisson, please say this will get better!

Needs internal remodeling; made me feel like I was back in the 90’s. There is an odor in the hallway probably from poor ventilation and too much carpet. The room with the king size bed and couch itself was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is very tiny, constant battle with the door being in the way. The sink did not drain very well. The cable TV had only a few functional channels. The gym was an absolute joke with only about 3 cardio machines and that was about it. Pool was also small considering how many guests were there during our visit. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless. Overall, not worth the price. Either spend less and stay at a motel that will still have better functional utilities plus continental breakfast or spend the extra $40 and stay at a nicer hotel that will have much better amenities and rooms, etc.

The hotel has not been well maintained. In addition, the cleanliness was less than desirable. There was a moldy damp smell, and the room was run down. I would question if my linens were changed, as they were inside out with a dark spot.

We stayed for graduation weekend. The staff were all very kind. Unfortunately, this property has aged since our first stay 5 years ago. There were large areas with cob/spider webs. There was a lot mold growing on the bathroom ceiling above the shower. Luckily we weren’t in the room much at all. I would not stay here again.

The room was old, and filthy. Do not stay here. There was feces around the toilet rim, stains and dirt on the walls, and I asked to have my room changed and the same thing in the new room. Awful staff, spoke to me as if it was my problem. Horrible place. I cannot believe that it is a conference center and wedding place -- horrible management.

The smell in the hotel as soon as you walk in was awful, smelled like a sewer line broke. Then we get to our room, the carpet is so dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, there was mold behind the door and wallpaper lifting up. The shower head hardly worked…would not recommend this hotel!

The only reason I stayed the night was because while everything appeared either stained, dirty, or broken it was clean. This hotel is so far beyond needing updating (I usually hate when people say that) it just needs an entire renovation. Everything had something wrong and I mean everything. The walls, lamps, toilet seat, furniture, and even the remote had a large broken gap. There are so many hotels in the area I’d totally skip this one until they renovate.

The 4 rating for "area around the hotel" is b/c the new entrance was ynder construction, otherwise it was very well kept. Restaurant and bar next door was convenient, too. Room and in-room amenities were great; comfortable sofa and bed, hot shower and clean bathroom. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient, and there is a small snack and sundries shop in the lobby area. Cinvenient to Iowa City and Coralville sports, hospitals and shopping, just off I-80. Would definitely stay here again.

The free breakfast was my favorite! So many options, clean pool and very warm! The restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious! The guy who checked us in was super sweet and enjoyable. We let him know our room wasn’t heating and he immediately got us in another room! Previous hotel we stayed at made us feel like an inconvenience when they had two move us because their heaters were out too. Very pleased with how this worker handled it!

The person that checked us in had a monotone disposition. He was not inviting at all. He was attentive but it seemed like he was strictly there to fulfill his duties and go home. The restaurant was ok but the menu didn't have good selections conducting the price of the good. I would not go back to the restaurant.
