Property was ok. Very outdated.

Room was decent. Beds slept well. Coffee in the lobby was hot and tasty even at night! Unfortunately, there was a used towel on the back of our bathroom door when we first came in and the A/C was tempermental.

Basic place to sleep with a few extras. Free coffee and hot beverages 24/7. Breakfast is free and they had a nice selection. Desk staff was available as needed. Nice pool area with work out room. Can walk to a few places to eat. Coffee maker in room as well as small microwave. Small fridge is just that small but will hold drinks etc. The appliances are inside what seemed to be a dresser. Hard to get to as not out in the open. Suggestion for hotel to get better lids for to go coffee, they fell off and didnt seal well. Also, curtains in our room needed sewn, ripped. Dark out worked pretty well. Can open windows to let air in of you choose to. Airport is seen from back view rooms but never heard a sound from it. Great place to stay for a reasonable price.

No one at the front desk, but a sign saying dial zero for help. This was there the whole stay. Key did not work for the room. Changed rooms, the room was ok, but no clock in the room. No paper towel in the machine in the lobby men’s room. Breakfast was ok, except sausage gravy was warm, not hot. Coffee in the lobby was hot and good.

The hotel was very clean and well-kept. We were very disappointed that they don’t have a hot tub. Also no coffee in room. Breakfast was good, however several things were empty and after alerting staff, some were refilled, but not all. Price was very reasonable.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will be trying to speak to a manager on Monday about the stay. The front desk agent was there at check in and was same individual at check out. It’s evident it’s not within standards of company brand when there are only 3 cars in parking lot and one is employee and one is mine. They tried to run my card on file several times on different days including check in day to charge my card for the reservation even though reservation was to be paid at time of check in. And was first thing to be spoke about at check in was my card was declined. Well my card should have NEVER been attempted to be run til I checked in. She also automatically signed me up for the rewards program which she did not ask my permission and I would like removed from the rewards program at this point. I did not agree to being signed up for that. Went to use hot tub and pool room would not accept my key card. She realized pool door was locked as if it was locked down for the night. She bypassed the lock and we entered the pool area. Only to find there was no knob on the timer for the hot tub. My husband went and spoke to her and she handed him a pair of pliers!!!! The jets barely did anything and the water was cold. Fact….pool water was warmer than hot tub Breakfast was subpar and at check out the front desk agent from check in was same at check out. She didn’t ask how rest of stay was or thank us for staying. I had to request receipt. Do not stay

Pet friendly and convenient to the Highway

This hotel was clean and the front desk staff friendly. The property is a bit run down and did not give us the value for the money we spent. For example: the towels were super old and grayed out (not fluffy and white); while hanging a hand towel on the rack, the rack fell off. It looked like it had been repaired so many times the rack was just balancing on the wall. The bath gel dispenser was empty. The tissue box was empty. It was obvious the security lock had been installed multiple times as there were several sets of holes in the wall by the door. We didn’t even try the breakfast because the food looked so bad.

Wheelchair ramp was not even with the sidewalk.

Perfect stay. Wonderful hotel. Great breakfast. Has a heated pool.

They don't clean your room! They don't have towels in the room! You have to go to the front desk to ask for them-EVRYDAY!!

Quiet location, easy check in, staff friendly, clean facility. Room was clean but had a peculiar smell. Breakfast was adequate but not the "buffet" that they advertise.

The staff was very friendly, bed extremely comfortable, shower was warm with great pressure, a nice breakfast selection, extremely clean spacious room, excellent location to both the Pella shopping district and Lake Red Rock. We visit the area at least once per year and will definitely stay here again!

Since the beginning of CoVID, the level of hospitality and care has gone downhill in a lot of hotels, and this is no exception. We stayed a total of three nights and not once was our trash emptied or the bath towels changed. It seems unacceptable to not at least have your trash taken out daily when staying in a hotel that offers small trashcans that hold minimal trash.

Clean, spacious room.

Close to downtown Pella. Clean, comfortable. Small 32"flatscreen TV was a disappointment. Bathroom sink out in the open, across from the toilet and tub/shower enclosure.

The hotel was completely full with a festival in town. Only ever one person working, managing front desk and breakfast at the same time. Half way through the breakfast hours there were no plates, no napkins, no forks & knives. Only enough hot food items put out to feed half the number of guests. She would not restock utensils. (Although, at 9:30, when we left for the day, we saw her filling the bins with forks & knives so they were available.) The biscuits were hard as rocks, the gravy was gloppy, the eggs were hard boiled but only about 15 were put out each day (with over a hundred guests), the oatmeal was instant. The bread was stale the first day, the 2nd morning only about 12 slices of white bread, 3 bagels and 3 pkgs of some kind of mini coffee cake. No cups for juice the 2nd day, by 8:30am only 10 small styrofoam cups remained. (I walked to the front counter and took the cups by the water dispenser there.). The walls were paper thin, for 3 days we heard the conversations of both rooms on each side of us. The a/c would only come on after it was turned off and on again, had to reboot it multiple times during the night. Towels were very thin and stiff. The bed was comfortable, the room very spacious. No iron or ironing board. After the breakfast debacle the day before, we decided to eat breakfast at a restaurant, asked the clerk for recommendations but she said she had no idea where we could go. We paid nearly $300/night for this.

Pros; The property was clean and appealing. Cons; There were 3 vents directly below our window that made a racket all night long. Also there is no reason to vacuum carpets at 12:30 am. Nothing but an alarm clock in the room. Find somewhere else for breakfast the sausage was cold and I couldn't get a knife or fork into the biscuts.

It was an excellent place to stay . The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. I tried to find out info on them from the manager but she didnt know. I have had bone cancer and have been trying to find a comfortable bed for 12 years. This was it. Thank you for the best sleep I've had in years!!

We stayed at this property twice. The second time, our room was huge. TV could be a little larger. Only complaint would be the breakfast options.

Big room, and it was very clean. The only thing i didn't like were the pillows. I'm not a fan of those big pillows. However, the bed was comfortable. I like having a fridge and microwave.

Room was super cold took an hour to warm up

TV did not have basic stations ABC, NBC, & CBS. One plastic cup. I found it after two nights in a cabinet that I did not know opened. Heater would run, then turn off for 15 seconds and run again. Repeated all the time; therefore, hard to get to sleep.

Very dissatisfied, clerk charged me even tho i had already paid thru the app! Was told needed the card just for a hold! Thinking about not using anymore, this is the second time, 5 days to get money back!

Needs more staffing

The desk clerk told me that no handi-capped rooms were available. Yet the hotel was virtually empty that night. I asked for a senior discount and was told that the rate given included the discount yet when I reviewed the billing, no discount was given. Very disappointed with the check-in procedure. Is convenient, near town, restaurant. Staff didn’t understand questions and needs very well. Tried to help but language barrier.

This is a basic motel, about 2 miles outside the charming town of Pella. I was pleased with the cleanliness, the excellent shower, and decent mattress. Breakfast was ok, in line with expectations.

Busy weekend in Pella but still hoped to get breakfast. Very little food left at 8:30 when we went to breakfast.

I was in Pella to visit my dad, who unfortunately was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I was very pleased with Americinn, it was clean, quiet, and the location was great. The breakfast was great, had lots of choices. When I return to Pella, I will stay here again!
