Room was small but perfectly clean and staff is helpful and professional. Refrigerator in our unit didn't have a proper seal and could not be used. There is no included breakfast as advertised. Expect traffic noise. Hotel is motel-style with private entry to the outside. 2 buildings, 2 levels each right off the highway. The restaurants nearby are very good!

The hotel lobby was very hard to find. If you come to this hotel make sure you bring soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, but make sure you have your own eating utensils.

The property is a remodeled upgraded building. There was no eating area or provisions, rooms do not have coffee, but are equiped with hot water, a small refrigerator and microwave.The room is very large and appeared clean but smelled like a lockerroom filled with dirty socks and smelly feet. It was very quiet. Would recommend a small air purifier. The price good

Disappointment was that I was charged $15 for my second dog when Red Roof states you are allowed to have up to 4 dogs at NO CHARGE. Stay was fine and it was convenient to walk the dogs outside in the grass, but beware of special fees for pets.....

Questionable permanent residents, No ice. Front desk said yes ! We have ice! Liar! No ice They have an old broken down ice machine that the perma residents told me hasn’t worked in over 2 months Liar! No ice! HOT! Need ice, need to cool down. Never stay here ever again!

Stayed here for Science Olympiad state because we booked late and everything else was sold out. Would not stay again. There are giant bright lights from the parking lot shining into all of the windows. The black-out curtains are undersized, so it doesn't block all the noise. There are trucks that sit in the parking lot and idle all night long. The walls are thin and you can hear them in your room. There are rooms with broken windows. There are no privacy curtains, just blackout curtains. The toilet paper is scratchy single ply.

You get what you pay for. This place is definitely a budget option. For example there’s no toilet seat cover so you have to be careful when you’re moving around in the bathroom. But everything more or less worked. It was a little chintzy that there was no coffee maker in the room

The towels were stained or just plain dirty. They was yellow and one of the wash clothes had a hand print on it where the gray stained was. Also no shower curtain. The fridge was leaking water on the floor. The good part is the manager said next time he would give us a discount and fix the issues.

Room 151 was unfit for use. Upon arrival I walked into the bathroom to find a puddle on the floor. Obviously someone was aware as they had tried to use a filthy towel to soak it up. Just a shrug and Sorry was the response. Especially irritating since they inflate the rate on game weekends at UIUC.

Horrible experience! After check-in, I arrive at my room. The room was disgusting. The bedding was dirty, the lamps are stained, floors not cleaned, fridge disgusting. I could have dealt with that. After driving all day, I just needed a place to sleep. Because of the condidition of the room, I began a search for bedbugs. And what do you know? There were BEDBUGS! I immediately left the room and went to the office to check out. I showed the front desk staff the photo I took of the bedbugs and asked for a refund. I was there for all of 20 minutes. She would not give me a refund. Expedia even tried to get a refund and they still won't issue one. Save yourself the trouble and go accross the street to the Sleep Inn.

It’s an old dirty motel, the pictures make the rooms look about 4 times bigger. The desk left weird dirt stains on my hands, the bathmat was completely wet BEFORE I even used the shower — it was just sitting on the side of the tub completely wet. There was hair on the sheets. It was the dirtiest room, I can’t even describe how gross it was. The whole place smells of smoke and musty air conditioning. I tried to leave early and naturally they wouldn’t give me a refund. I left anyway. I was supposed to stay 6 nights and I lasted 2. It was so depressing! The place is next to a vacant lot. There are no amenities, not even a coffeemaker. The soap dispenser next to the sink was ripped off the wall, so I had to go to the store for a bar of soap. I can’t even begin to tell you just how misrepresented this place is. DO NOT stay here!

Get what u pay for.... Mold on bathroom ceiling, hard bed, had to ask for housekeeping to come back, they took the bedding and didn't put more on, TV had very dark coloring, couldn't really see it with the lights on.

The sheets were stained and not entirely sure they were clean. The bathroom was dirty and had soap scum and hair on the shower walls. The towels were so thin they didn’t dry your body at all. People were smoking weed right outside our hotel room so we could smell it in the room. You could hear people walking by and the neighbors as if they were in the room. I was very disappointed in this stay.

An ok place for a budget hotel. I would stay here for a night again. Not for a long stay though. The rooms are rather small and the bathroom where the shower is tiny. So small I could barely dry off without hitting walls. Whomever decided the bathroom size originally must not have figured tall people might stay here. Nice people running the place though.

We stayed one night on our way to Indianapolis. Room was comfortable. We had a room with two full sized beds. I was hoping they were queen size! The shower was nice (no soft water). Television was good, but a little small. No breakfast, just coffee. But it was a good stay.

Location for my trip was good. Price was good. Longer then necessary to check in over 15 min. I was the only one checking in. No tissues. Non speaking english. Comunication very difficult. Asked for a luggage rack, never got it. Toliet extremely loud.

Two night stay for UIUC Mom’s Weekend. Though the Red Roof Inn is a bit dated and is a no frills hotel, I have to admit that the bed was very comfortable and my stay was nice and quiet. It served its purpose for a place for me to sleep after spending all day with my son on campus celebrating Mom’s weekend. It was an easy drive (about 10 mins) to campus. At check in, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was also friendly. It was a pleasant stay.

Because it was graduation weekend for University of Illinois, we paid $600 per night for a bare-bones room. We didn't even get clean towels or styrofoam cups for the second morning. The air did not circulate in the room, so it always smelled unpleasant when walking in from outside. Not very clean. Only upside was comfortable bed and pillows. Man at front desk was nice too.

The bathroom toilet ran very slow. I called down to the desk. They possibly came and checked it out, but it still continued to run very slowly, making use of the toilet virtually impossible. Also, housekeeping never came. We did not get fresh towels brought to the room. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for them.

Nice overnight stay in a convenient location. Our receptionist was very sweet and professional. We appreciated being close to Costco and shopping as well as one of our favorite eateries, Black Dog Smoke and Ale. The only drawbacks: our small room, proximity to the noise of Hwy. 74 and the use of styrofoam coffee cups, which are terrible for the environment and not healthy to use in the microwave!

The coffee in the reception area was awful . It said continental breakfast included and there was nothing at all . Beds were clean but a little too firm for my liking . No coffee maker in room . There was a small refrigerator but it didn’t get very cold . . Micro wave was in room . Overall not bad for a quick trip when you need a place to sleep . I would have liked a receipt from the hotel but they kept saying that I would get it from Expedia . I used hotels .com . Still don’t have a final receipt .

My room was suppose to be a non-smoking room, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. When I went for breakfast, all that was there was some coffee and 4 miniature donuts. For the price - this is rotten. I could have stayed at the Quality Inn across the street for $10.00 more, and would have gotten more. Probably won't stay at another Red Roof Inn again.
