Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Chicago

Had to park in lots few blocks away. No parking on site.

The staff was very sweet and helpful. The parking they suggested was close and easy to use.There was small problem with the heat not working, but it was fixed right away. Overall I would use again for quick trip.

My initial room faced the elevated train. It was impossible to sleep. I paid for an “upgrade”, a room facing a wall, poorly configured. At least it was quiet. However, the shower didn’t work so I had to leave without showering. They did fix it the following day. The policeman in the lobby to avoid criminal activity was a nice touch, I guess. There are countless ways to burn US$250 a night, choose others. I rarely leave bad reviews, this time it’s my duty to make an exception. Avoid this place like the plague.

Uncomfortable and small bed for a double room. Very noisy.
