Pool has dark areas missing bulbs. Rooms need vacuuming, no maintenance after 5pm, garbage is left in hallways and not picked up until the next day. Don’t like that a bag of garbage was left by my room, I called staff, no one picked up the garbage

The over night lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond being so kind to my 13 year old birthday girl and her 8 friends! Room can use some updating but was clean overall. The rock floor around the pool is awful as rocks are coming off and is hard on the feet.

Pool needs some work as the gravel around it is coming up and is dangerous. Not fun to be stepping on tiny stones in bare feet. Room was nice, though no queen bed option is a negative. Breakfast was ok. Staff was fine.

Elevators were very slow and one of the exercise bikes in the fitness center isn't functional. Complementary bottles of water or a water dispenser in the lobby would be a nice touch. The staff was excellent though.

The staff was friendly and the hotel is in a safe area. The negatives are horrible wifi in the room. The pool was green and smelled really bad. The hotel is a little run down. The room was big with two sinks outside the bathroom but the bathroom was tiny. No microwave

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was happy with the customer service here. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is pretty rundown. There are pictures of “what’s to come” in the lobby so I assume there are renovations planned, but we booked this trip based on images online that looked much nicer than what we got. Our room had several tolerable maintenance issues in the bathroom - the file floor was so warped that the door almost wouldn’t close and had to be forced shut. The shower head was covered in hard water deposits and made a high pitched squealing noise for most of my shower. Furniture and carpets had some noticeable stains. The pool was extremely worn down looking and didn’t seem very clean. Again, I hope plans are already in the works for renovation because staff was great.

This was a rough visit. Bathroom smelled of mildew and had no airflow. Bathroom vent fan was caked in months of dust. A cleaner burst into our room early one morning (before 9am) without knocking. The funny thing is our room was never attended to or refreshed during our three night stay. There were mites in the tub. There was one exceptional employee who helped us find a trash can (we didn’t have one in our room) but otherwise the staff were unfriendly.

So we came just for a quick getaway before school starts and the service is great, friendly staff but the room was dirty. Lots of stains and dust and left over things from other guest. Bottle, pacifier, store tags from clothes and a used rolled up panty liner on the floor in the bathroom. When I say dust, i mean years of dust on the egdes of the floors. Hair clumps and stuff on floors like they are not vacuuming all the time. Stains on the bed sheets and covers. Dont lift the sheets because the beds are horrid. All types of stains. The bed even has poop stains on it. Carpet has gum and other stuff stuck to it. Dust in the coffee pot, no trash bags in the bins. Counter tops dirty, not just dust but grime and head boards dirty. Pool was a mess if your coming for the pool, dont. It smells like stagnate water because of the pebble floor that is not sealed and all the water just sits in the pebbles and theres green and black stuff on the pebble floors with the pebbles coming off all over and wads of hair and stuff all over the floor. The water is not that clean either. Pool area has not been cleaned in a long time..who knows when they cleaned the floors. Pool could be a great area if they redo it and keep it clean. The staff as I said are kind and had no issue. Who ever owns this place needs to really remodel and check the quality of cleanliness in this place unless they just dont care but for what one pays for a room to stay here.... its shamefully disgusting.

I liked the location and the set up of the room. I disliked that the room had a poor smell to it, like vomit and mold. The couch, even tho we didnt use it, was dirty. Carpet felt damp.

Most disappointing Hyatt I have stayed. Seemed to be very short staffed. I only saw 2 staff members in 3 days. There’s no housekeeping service. The whole building is dirty and in disrepair. TV cable service was in and out like a poor connection. The bed was old and squeaky and uncomfortable. I feel I greatly overpaid for what was received. It didn’t feel like a Hyatt at all. The area felt safe and there was a Starbucks across the street that was open early so that was good.

They gave us room next to elevator and can hear it go up and down each and every time. Very loud. The shower is a joke, water just flows out like a waterfall. Cannot shut the bathroom door without standing in the shower as the space between the toilet and shower is so limited. The sink water does not drain, have to shut it off then wait for it to drain, then continue where I left off. Sofa bed is very old, could not sleep.

The location was convenient to our event however I wouldn't stay there again. It was very outdated, TV had no guide and no option to use streaming. Shower mat was yellow and old, shower door replaced but left all of the old adhesive from previous door. The door to shower/toilet area was so large you had to squeeze between the toilet and wall to close, no microwave (which a suite should have) Lobby had no AC and no notification prior to arrival. Available food is made by the front desk and the Bar was a joke. Our window seal was broken so couldn't see out as was covered with white coating and the AC in our room is controlled and could not keep up with the heat and humidity.

Overall, the hotel was good. Rooms are spacious and clean. However, wifi was good as nothing. We stayed on the 6th floor, one bar or nothing for wifi, but practically no connection the whole of our stay. Checked in around 4pm memorial day Saturday weekend and front desk staff was so distracted wuth doing other things but her job. She and another staff kept chatting the whole time, no acknowledgement while we were standing right in front of her to check in. No greetings whatsoever and just instantly asked for my ID and card and continued on talking to the other staff about a show on the TV--whike also giving info about our stay. Have stayed in other hotels and this is the first time we've ever experienced customer service like this.

You need to be in the corner of one room to access Wi-Fi otherwise there’s no signal / not sure if it had to do with being in the top floor, but overall I would go back here again.

Stayed here with family on our way through Chicago. Everything was clean, comfortable and breakfast was yummy!! We did have to ask for the sheets/blankets for the sofa bed instead of them being right there in the room which is unusual but not a major deal. Also there is no microwave in the room so you have to go down to the lobby with your food and use the one there any time you want to heat something up, which is not very convenient. But overall things were clean and comfortable which we greatly appreciated!

My birthday weekend was wonderful at the Hyatt! Customer service was outstanding thanks to Vanetta (Vanessa) one of the supervisor for the front desk and Amari. They went over and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing but the best. They also gave me a special birthday bag filled with goodies. A wonderful staff and the deserve the recognition. I had a very disappointing stay. Despite multiple requests, I was never given fresh sheets during my time at the hotel. The lady at the front was also rude when we asked if we could get new sheets after coming back to the hotel and seeing that the bed sheets nor the towels had been changed.

Everything was. Fine minus the checking in portion. I was accused of not paying and was asked to show my bank transactions on my phone to prove that I paid. After I showed I paid, I was still accused of not paying. Once I was told they would walk to me my room, I need to go outside and bring my two small children inside. As I walked in to the hotel, my family member was checking in and I said hello. As I said hello, the lady behind the counter looked at my family member and said oh she is not happy with us right now. She was so rude and unprofessional. Me and other family members will never stay at this Hyatt because of her and her rudeness ever again.

Visited Chicago for a week, hotel about 40-50 minutes outside downtown. Great hotel if you want to save money and visit Chicago. Had issues with wifi the first night of stay but was quickly fixed. Very good stay.

Room was very musty and stale. Tv was limited, carpet was very dirty. Breakfast was reheated eggs, chirizo and potatos. No pastries, no waffles, no sausages or bacon. Coffee was very bad. Definitely not a "breakfast" Pool was pretty aged, smelly, no towels.

Guy who checked me in didn’t seem like he enjoyed working there. Not personable and when asked what food the restaurant serves, his response was- in all honesty they serve frozen foods here. Not great for business! Bathroom floor is dirty and bath mat. Michelle was the only one who was hospitable and accommodating.

Overall the stay was good with very friendly staffand service..... our biggest issue would have been the breakfast... the biscuits could have been used for hockey pucks for the local kids hockey tournament and the gravy was tasteless...pretty sure the sausage patties were recycled into the following days gravy... epic failure...then there were the eggs... I know that there may be a shortage of eggs, nation wide, but you couldn't even make those powdered eggs worse if you tried....bland and dry... sorry, but you asked for feedback... at least the fruit was fresh... 🙄

Hotel was conveniently located by a number of restaurants and the expressway into the city. We booked day of due to an issue at home, and were able to check in to our room within the hour. Room was fine. Breakfast was supposed to begin at 6:30 but most items were still not available at 7:30 when we needed to leave.
