I came from Louisville Kentucky for a weekend family bridal shower. I was informed upon arrival I’d have to pay an additional $72 fee for my dog plus $25 for “incidentals” which I would be refunded. I’m still waiting for my refund. The weekend manager was unfriendly and not helpful. The property was not very clean, there was hair on the floor in my bathroom. The overall cleanliness of the property was poor. It was difficult to sleep because the tollway is right next to the property and there were cars and motorcycles zooming up and down it until the early hours. The property doesn’t have an ice machine and although there was a full size refrigerator in the room I didn’t think to check it for ice which I needed for my cooler for my trip back home. The weekend manager just curtly informed me there was no ice machine in the building. I ended up going and purchasing a bag of ice. I will never stay at this property again and I travel to Chicago frequently as I have family and friends in the area. Very bad experience!

This hotel only gave us two glasses two small plates two forks doing knives too spoons too big plates I guess we could have gotten some more but it was really minimal no pots and pans to cook with maybe available but again have to go get them and worst of all they have a nice laundry in the hotel but they do not have any change any soap any softener that's a big lose to me

Reasonably priced room/suit with a kitchenette suitable for a longer stay if you didn't want to eat out every night. Nothing walkable nearby. Appeared to be housing some long term guests but I was not bothered by that or any of those "residents". If you are on a budget such as I was, I was able to get some breakfast cereal and milk plus other things to have breakfast when I wanted without having to go out. There is no breakfast offered.

Police were there every other day. As soon as you walk through the front door All you could smell was marijuana. The washers didn't work. The housekeeper taking care of our room was not very nice.

The original room we got had no working air conditioning. The room we were moved to had a broken bottom drawer in the refrigerator. The carpet was dirty as evidenced by our socks getting dirty after we walked on it. The biggest problem was the noise. Noisy air conditioning, noisy refrigerator, even a noisy toilet that kept running regularly because it was leaking. We had to turn off the air conditioner when we went to bed so we could sleep. And then there was the discrimination. Dogs are allowed but not cats. In my experience cats are quieter and less trouble than dogs.

The room had a strange smell and there was left over painters tape around light fixtures on the ceiling. We stayed for two nights and came across 3 cockroaches in the room. The furniture was beat up with many dents and chips in the paint. We were on a budget and did not spend a ton of time in the room, so we made it work. In the future I would definitely spend more per night at a different hotel. Although, the staff was very friendly!

The entire hotel, especially the lobby smelled strongly of marijuana. There weren't any soaps provided in the room and the water pressure in the shower was awful, to the point that I couldn't wash my hair. The best wasn't very comfortable, but the pillows were good. I appreciated coffee and a coffee maker being provided in the room.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel. We booked for 6 nights. When we got there we already had an off feeling. We walked into our room and checked everything. The ceiling has mold growing on it, the toilet was clogged as well as the bathroom sink, and the AC unit did not work. We went down to the desk and the Employee of the Month (i don’t remember his name) was super helpful and nice and said someone would come the next morning to have a look at everything. The maintenance guy did come but the AC was still broken. It would turn on for 5 minutes every 2 hours! With how hot and humid it was, we were roasting. We went to the lobby and talked with Cash. He was helpful as well but said since it was a weekend the maintenance guy wouldn’t be able to come until Monday morning. I just about had it with this place. The next morning I woke up with ANTS crawling on me in bed!! I was done. We packed up and went to the lobby. They said they would give us a refund but we haven’t received it yet and it’s been almost two weeks! Everytime I call for a manger she’s not there! This stay was absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. I’m very upset with how everything turned out and We are still waiting for a refund!! Do NOT stay here!

Bathroom floor sinking; I think the subfloor has rotted away. The shower should be a hand held unit versus single spray head. Finally, the mattress needs to be replaced, it’s just subpar with respect to comfort.

The room was cold when i arrived. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The toilet was real low so hard to get up for an older person. And worst of all the shower NEVER got hot ! Lukewarm at best. What place doesn't have hot water!

The room I was given was directly next to the hotels laundry unit. Constant banging and noise from the that and workers. Coupled with noisy occupants in surrounding rooms made the stay less than enjoyable. I ended up leaving a day early as a result.

It was fantastic. I had a lovely stay. The rooms were so comfy and clean with all the amenities. The cleaning was always so kind a genuinely nice….and did a fantastic job cleaning the rooms. And the hotel front desks folks were THE BEST. Truly kind hearted people who treated you with the very best manners.

First, we booked through Hotels.com. we get there and despite showing them the confirmation, they claimed they had no reservation. So i had to book while we were standing there. But the cost per night was actually cheaper than the Hotels.com price. We then get to the room, there was no toilet paper and the fridge made this horrible noise. The hallway smelled horrible and the bed sunk towards the middle so we slept pretty much on top of each other. First, we booked through Hotels.com. we get there and despite showing them the confirmation, they claimed they had no reservation. So i had to book while we were standing there. But the cost per night was actually cheaper than the Hotels.com price. We then get to the room, there was no toilet paper and the fridge made this horrible noise. The stay was outstanding! However, afterwards, I was assessed an extra $252.50 by mistake. When I talked with the manager, Ashley, on the phone, she acknowledged that they had made a mistake and she would get the money back to me. I arrived to check in at 10:15 pm and found the reception desk closed and locked up. When I called the house phone, the on duty staff said that they couldn’t check me in after 10 pm. Nowhere in my emails from you or the hotel indicated a 10 pm close of the front desk.

This place was horrible, with no customer service and no one at the front desk. I arrived in the early morning of November 4 and knocked for 40 minutes before someone appeared; the front desk guy was just sleeping. I have stayed here on and off for a few months now and have never really had a bad experience at all. The rooms are always clean when you check-in, they are all stocked up with everything you need to cook in the kitchen etc. But the STAFF here is the real winner. The manager, Ashley, is incredible and always helps and sorts you out whenever you need it. That really goes for all the staff here though. Just great people who are extremely respectful and will always help you no matter the situation. If you are thinking of staying somehwere local, this is the place for you. I come here even if it is sometimes $10-15 more expensive. I came from Louisville Kentucky for a weekend family bridal shower. I was informed upon arrival I’d have to pay an additional $72 fee for my dog plus $25 for “incidentals” which I would be refunded. The overall cleanliness of the property was poor. It was difficult to sleep because the tollway is right next to the property and there were cars and motorcycles zooming up and down it until the early hours. The property doesn’t have an ice machine and although there was a full size refrigerator in the room I didn’t think to check it for ice which I needed for my cooler for my trip back home. The weekend manager just curtly informed me there was no ice machine in the building. I ended up going and purchasing a bag of ice. I will never stay at this property again and I travel to Chicago frequently as I have family and friends in the area. Very bad experience!

The entire hotel, especially the lobby smelled strongly of marijuana. There weren't any soaps provided in the room and the water pressure in the shower was awful, to the point that I couldn't wash my hair. The best wasn't very comfortable, but the pillows were good. I appreciated coffee and a coffee maker being provided in the room.

Property upgrade is well underway and it is now worthy of a great review. Staff are proud of their workplace. My room was newly renovated clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel looks nice after an apparent remodelling, but the room had a full size bed rather than a queen. I mentioned this while checking out, and five or six staff members at the front desk all claimed they had no full beds, which was clearly untrue. More significantly, the mattress was very springy and flattened in the center and should be replaced. They also had it located against a wall, which I've never seen in a hotel room before. The bed should be centered on the wall with the end table by the wall, which should have occurred to them during the remodel so the headboard could be changed or the light fixture relocated higher.
