Dirty room. Bathroom fixtures leaked. Breakfast was not clearly labeled as non complimentary. Was charged $20 for one scoop of eggs and a half a cup of orange juice. Fitness center as freezing cold, equipment was broken, and my final night the fitness room was closed for the evening. Will not stay again.

It was close to the Now Arena and food and shopping places. The pool area however was not as pictured on expedia. It did not have a hot tub like the picture represented and the pool was a lot smaller, which was a bummer because we were looking forward to enjoying it and it was also too crowded and over capacity so we didn't stay very long.

Booked a relaxing family weekend away to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no hot tub and the pool was cold. There was no room service available as stated. The breakfast buffet had very little and was cold. The French toast however was made to order and was good. We needed more towels which tool almost an hour to get. When checking under the beds to be sure items weren't forgotten we found trash from others that had stayed there before us. The beds were ok but not that comfortable. The bar I'm the lobby was closed, you would have thought this would've been open especially on New Years Eve.

Elevators were broken some of the time we had to use the stairs and smelled really bad when it did operate. Room was clean enough. Lobby also kind of smelled.

The property is undergoing construction which should probably be disclosed on their website. This affects a lot of important amenities. I did have some problem checking in as I had to wait an hour for housekeeping to finish my room. This was inconvenient as I was tired and wanted to rest. The staff apologized repeatedly for their missteps but sometimes that is just not enough.

Good: excellent location, quiet, staff made an attempt to help. Bad: no housekeeping, no "do not disturb" sign so I was disturbed while sleeping. NO NOTICE that laundry room was under constructuin and no offer of an alternative. In fact, no notice of the inconveniences that construction brings-noise, debris, etc. Not sure if I would stay again. Also-the new carpets are very hard to roll full sized luggage on.

Please don’t stay here, front desk staff were never around and if they were excluding one lady they were rude and our room was barely cleaned when we arrived, no restock of any supplies and there was pubic hair in the shower. The elevators were old and I felt like I was staying in a seedy motel not a Hilton. What a joke.

The staff were very nice. There was hair on the shower curtain, the shower wall, and on the ceiling. That was truly disgusting. Otherwise I had a pretty good stay.

Pretty sure I saw numerous eye lashes on my bed sheets to make it as if the sheets weren’t changed. Tried to get an extra blanket to sleep on top of the sheets but front desk never answered the phone.

I definitely won't be back.For starters, my toilet was filthy. It had a long straight light brown hair and brown pee splatters on it.My sister, who was in a different room also had a pee splattered toilet. The phone was clear across the room instead of beside the bed. We attempted to call for about 30 minutes to allert the front desk and no one answered. At one point ut must have been taken off the hook because it was busy. My sister ended up walking downstairs because she was in less pain than I. There was no one at the desk and she had to search for a person. We were move to a different room that was smaller than what I paid for and did not have the roll in shower I also booked with my reservation. Only 1 key woked and they did not switch the room number in the system for the wifi. We were given vouchers for free breakfast which were supposed to have been free anyway. The $15.95 breakfast was mediocre at best. It was labeled as a buffet but it consists of pork sausage as the only meat,extremely watery oatmeal,breads, cereal and eggs. The coffee had to be brought out by an attendant cup by cup and she was the only server. Not that they asked how our stay was at checkout, but it wasn't the best.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and hospitable with willingness to go above and beyond the norm to make guests feel welcomed. They accommodated our room needs as we were traveling with an elderly woman that required a little extra attention. We had breakfast in the café at the hotel and our server Lynn was fantastic with serving us and meeting the extra needs of our table. The food was plentiful and delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The rooms are fine, nothing special. They need to update their TVs to smart televisions, and our room was never serviced (though it’s supposed to happen every other day). Room was out of shampoo, so little things are getting missed. It also allows pets, and we were forced to report a dog barking continuously for 2.5 hours. That said, it’s conveniently located and it served our needs.

I actually was surprised at the high marks this hotel received. It’s an older hotel that looks like the lobby has been redone because that looks very nice, but the rooms all need remodeling. There were chips in the furniture, creeking old bed, paint chip in the bathroom door, old carpet, etc.

We stayed in room 621, a very large room. Very little furniture, the only chair in the room, no ottoman, just a filthy orange chair. Didn’t want to sit in it it was so filthy. The t.v., a 32 incher, would have been fine in a normal room but in our overly large room, we were a good 15 feet away from the t.v. Since the only seating in the room other than the dirty orange chair was the bed,we couldn’t see it and had to turn it up to very loud decibel just in order to hear it. Felt sorry for the people in the room next to ours. The bed itself was very comfortable. The shower in our room didn’t drain as it should so by the end of your shower you were standing in a puddle. This is the second time we’ve stayed at a Hilton Gardens and we’ve been shocked each time that the name Hilton is on the front of the hotel. We have family in Chicago and visit frequently from out of state. Pretty sure we won’t be staying at a Hilton hotel in the future. Best regards, Wendy Braga

When we arrived check in was smooth and we were hopeful for a lovely stay. We left the hotel room to explore the town the next morning and when we came back the staff had no idea we were staying in that room and said that they had seen our stuff in the room but had no information about our reservation. This led us to be unable to enter our room and having to call Expedia and Hilton to try and resolve the issue. This was resolved quickly but unfortunately there were some unsavory characters that, the hotel staff were aware of, staying on our floor as well. They were consuming drugs in public areas, had a puppy loose that was going into other guest rooms, leaving trash/linens in the hallway, and slamming doors all night long. Staff did nothing to stop them. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Will not stay again.

Great line of staff through and through. Won’t hesitate to come back. Definitely a solid recommendation. Politeness of the staff is the top choice of any hotel accommodation. This hotel has great training for keeping the standard. I want to say the room is clean but the area from the minifridge has some odor. Checked in pretty late so didn’t bother to follow thru. The openness of the surrounding making the place pretty not creepy at all. It’s a pretty nice area and neighborhood to stay in.

The property was in a great spot, easy to access and had lots of options for dining. We got excellent recommendations from the staff. Speaking of the staff, Alyssa was OUTSTANDING and made our stay an incredible one. She was amazing, friendly and very helpful. She even helped us get access to a steamer. Thanks Alyssa for going above and beyond making our stay terrific.

The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. It was a well maintained property and I had no safety concerns. They offered for a fee a buffet breakfast or from the menu. There was a pool and fitness room, but I did not get to use them. Although I can sleep under any conditions, my room was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel was approximately 30 minutes or less drive to the airport. My drive to downtown Chicago took about an hour if you avoided the toll routes. I enjoyed views of the surrounding suburbs.

They have a good breakfast which costs $15/person. They also during the week provide a meal. Across the freeway are restaurants. Right across the street is a big AMC movie theater and a restaurant. Easy access onto highway 90. Staff was polite and helpful.

My biggest concern: I went to plug my phone charger into an outlet behind a chair in our room and the plug-in shorted out and sent sparks flying and started to smell like burnt plastic. So, I don’t recommend using the plug ins. I’ve also never stayed at a “nicer” hotel that didn’t include breakfast. Expect to pay an extra $15-20 per person for a mediocre breakfast. They didn’t even have make your own waffles and a lot of the breakfast items were understocked. Also, I could not find coffee out anywhere. Which is my go to in the mornings so that was very disappointing. I would have been happier with a run to McDonald’s which I should have done instead, honestly. On a more positive note, it was clean, quiet, and the staff was kind. However I do not think it was worth the price we paid. I did not end up using the other amenities like the gym or pool. So I cannot speak on those. I’d rather give it 2.5 stars versus 3.
