Hyatt Schaumburg is located in an area that is upscale, with plenty of shopping and good restaurants. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. The staff that I encountered were excellent. I asked Kam , the receptionist, where something was located , and instead of pointing she walked me to the location and in addition, showed me two more areas ( pool & gym). Poll is small , only 4 foot deep but room temperature, not icy cold. Starbucks in the lobby . Breakfast is buffet priced at over $20 , but nice , with just about everything, including omelette station. Tool has programable safe. Bathroom is rather small . You can't enter the shower without closing the bathroom entrance door. Room was clean on arrival and cleaned daily . Checkin is at 4 pm, checkout is at 11 am .

This was my very 1st stay at a Hyatt hotel and I must say I AM a complete fan. Excellent customer service from my 1st phone call for an inquiry to my last day at the hotel. I was there on business so did not need to take advantage of the restaurant amenities but the shuttle service was a life saver. Great proximity to everything and all around GOLD STAR hotel.

booked this hotel based on its 8.6/10 rating on Expedia, but my experience was completely different. The room was dirty, it smelled of dampness, the carpet had a bad odor, and the bathroom was also unclean. When I complained, the manager said I would receive a refund, but that never happened. I feel completely disappointed and misled. I do not recommend this hotel.

Overall stay was underwhelming. Rooms below average, bathroom not cleaned properly. Found hairs on the bathroom floor and in the bathtub upon arrival. This made me question the overall room cleanliness. The bathroom cold water faucet was not working. It took 3 calls to the Reception Desk before a repairman was sent to fix the problem...which he did quickly. Next trip to Schaumburg I will choose another hotel.

Everything about this hotel is OK, except for the front desk staff who are amazing. The HVAC system was not working properly in my room, resulting in a rattling/grinding sound all night. Gym is pretty good if a bit cozy.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We were in room 5334 which was at the end of a corridor and didn't have any noises extra, only a slight hum from the fridge and the usual air conditioning. The bathroom was quite small and the door, when opened, nearly touched the toilet but the shower was good. There is a shuttle bus but it only works within 4 miles so you have to pay for a taxi for the airport or get the 606 bus over the road and then the train from Rosemount.

We reserved a four day stay and the hotel itself and the employees were great! The issue was that the A/c on the 4th floor was horrible! We couldn’t get the temperature to go down past 74 degrees in our room! The outside Temperature was 95 degrees and the humidity was about as bad!! My wife and I finally decided to leave the hotel and went to another one after three nights!

The location of the hotel is wonderful, close to the expressway. Hotel lobby is really nice. However, it was really noisy on our first night. They must have some kind of party in a tent right below our room. We can hear the loud music on the 5th (top) floor till 2300. The bathroom door was hard to close, the door to the room has a gap in the corner so other people can see the light in the room from outside via the gap. The iron left a burnt mark on my white cami.

Terrible Housekeeping service. Can’t recommend to anyone. We were there for one week & housekeeping only came twice to clean the room. We have to keep calling front desk but no one shows up. We tried telling housekeeping staff when we saw them doing other rooms so they said call front desk. Been to so many big name hotels but never had this bad experience!!! Even room amenities are not that good either. Poor management!!!!

We were very disappointed with their service as our room was not cleaned for 3 consecutive days even after we requested each day after the first day of no service, they acknowledged and advised they’d clean it and yet no service. Finally last night we requested to get a new room close by. They didn’t even try to redeem themselves to do anything extra. And we had to request to change the room. No need to say, we’re not coming back.

The breakfast servers Bashkim and Floriberto greeted us every morning with big smiles and excellent service. The buffet was clean and bright. All the food was kept hot or cold; whatever was needed. The front desk clerks were always most helpful and friendly. My husband had a medical emergency on Sunday morning and the front desk associate had perfect recommendations for Newmed walk-in clinic. After his evaluation the MD on duty sent us to St Alexius which is the ER that the Hyatt employee told us to go to. We are pleased by such excellent service. The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is 5star!

The name "Hyatt Regency" (Schaumburg) evokes a certain level of excellence. However, when I entered my room, it was smaller than most two bed rooms I've ever stayed in. The bathroom was tiny! It was so small that the door barely cleared the toilet and I had to close it to gain entry into the shower. Additionally, the furniture looked worn and outdated. I posted pictures and a review on Yelp. I walked down to the restaurant for breakfast - a buffet breakfast and there was no posted pricing so I was SHOCKED when I received a bill for almost $26.00 for a plate of cold scrambled eggs, 2 slices of cold bacon, 2 cold link sausages, a bagel and a glass of milk. That's insane! The only good thing about the stay was that the bed was very comfortable after I checked it out for bedbugs. Suffice to say, I will never be staying at this hotel again. 1-star to be polite.

My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable overall, but the bar experience was disappointing. We ordered a lava cake that arrived without the accompanying ice cream, yet we were still charged the full price. Additionally, the bartender was not very pleasant and came across as a bit rude. He seemed more focused on leaving for the night, even though it was before 10 PM, and he had already closed and locked up the bar. While the hotel itself was great, the bar service definitely left something to be desired.
