The rolling chair in the room was in very poor condition-vinyl was torn along edge of seat and chair back. Facet would not shut off in tub. Side entrance was found propped open with a brick on checkin day and when we left the following morning at 8:30am.

Staff were super nice and helpful. Room was clean but had some old water damage on the ceiling that needed tending to. Wasn’t super bad or a deal to me but could be to others. Pool is outdoors so obviously seasonal, so keep that in mind.

Super 8 sometimes get bad expectations. Tried this for the state fair because of the price and convenience, five minutes away. Very convenient for getting there early to attend to livestock, and go take a nap or relax for a little bit. Was quite surprised the cleanliness and comfortability was very good for the family. There is not an elevator, but only three floors. The breakfast is very minimal, nothing hot or cooked. If you don’t need all the fancy expensive other hotels and plan ahead for breakfast this is a very good budget friendly option. Definitely recommend and will stay there again.

Room was below ground level. Beds were comfortable. Window latch was missing and could be entered while we were away. No coffee pot in room. Noise from above and next room easily heard. Breakfast area was very limited.

Power outlet by the bed did not work, had to run power cords from other side of the room Vending machines accepted cash or coins only. Its not 1995 anymore. AC unit was obnoxious and had to be turned off so I could sleep.

Tv did not work, could not call front desk, as telephone cord destroyed. Heater did not in room. Music playing loud after 10pm. Beer bottles in hallway and back door. Sunday morning back door left open with rock. Bad security! Cheap soap that breaks in hand, or dropped in tub

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Hotel is really run down & dirty. Bathroom had mold & a big hole in the wall. Shower sprayed everywhere inside & out of shower.

Bathroom seemed remodeled but moldy. No tv accessible changed room same problem nofix. Management and checkin personnel surley and incompetent. Paint terrible ceiling damaged dirty, shower poor pressure and faulty showerhead. Hole in wall (mouse?) Should have changed hotel but too tired. No more super 8.

Got into our room and noticed bugs crawling on the floor when we first opened the door. I noticed there was hair and crumbs all over the floor. Pulled the blankets down to check the bed and seen hair on the sheets. Went to the desk and asked to be moved. The room we moved to was cleaner but the comforter had what seemed to be a cigarette burn hole.

Convient location and friendly staff. Cable T.V. didn't work, Front desk had to come up and unplug and plug back in cable and started working. Turn off later and then tried to turn on again and no T.V.. Table lights were old and plug in's were loose therefore we had a wiring concern when plugging in our phones but they worked. Beds we confortable.

The hotel was ok nothing super high end it worked for what i was there for which was a funeral. The problem with the hotel was the wifi would connect for a minute and then drop off. And then the ice machine was not working. Which made it difficult when packing and wanting cold drinks.

First, based on other reviews I read when I booked, I want to say manage your expectations. This is a Super 8, not the Ritz. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Check-in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. We felt safe, location was good and easily accessible to restaurants and activities we were interested in. Breakfast was standard continental fare. Coffee was good. Room and bed was comfortable, although our non-smoking room smelled of smoke and there were cigarette burns on the bedspread. We opened the window and let in some fresh air.

The front desk threatened to cancel my room because they overbooked if i didn't pay for my 1st night before check in even opened and repeatedly called me harrassing me. I travel up to kansas frequently for rabbit shows. Bet your ass I WILL NOT be back after being treated like I was. And top it off when i got in the tv wouldnt work. I had to ask them to come up to fix it on Saturday.

Property was definitely dated for the most part the staff was friendly and accommodating. We called ahead of time about the breakfast because we don't like just a carb loaded breakfast. And the staff had said that there was meat on the breakfast bar however when we went to breakfast there was not. My friend that was traveling with me informed them of the conversation and they argued with her. I overheard the conversation and when she asked the question they said yes. However I believe there may be a language barrier or they were just trying to get her off the phone and saying yes. Overall the stay was not horrible.

They wanted to charge us again at check in because the gal didnt understand that the reservation was already. The design of the hotel was funky with the 1st floor hallway being downstairs in a basement level. If you are traveling with a lot of lugage for a multiday trip this is not the best place to stay. The side door to the hotel would not open with out yanking extreemly hard. They key card unlocked it but the magnitization or what ever would not let a normal pull open the door. You basicly had to rip the door open to get in. In the room there was a hole in the quilt and the bathmat was ratty and falling apart. Otherwise it was ok for a quick overnight stay. Mattress comforable, room clean, area safe and quiet. Wont stay there again but it was okay for what we needed it for.

The room I booked online is not what I was given. Went back to the front desk to let them know that the lady told me that it is a mistake online and they are trying to correct it. (king w/ pull out couch) I ask what else she could do because that would not sleep 4 of us. Her reply was Nothing... I again told her it was not my fault the it was wrong. About this time the guy came up and got us a room that accommodated the 4 of us. The lady was just kind of rude for no real reason.

Not prepared for breakfast and didn’t have enough for number of hotel guests staying there. Water pouring out of one room soaked the carpet in the hallway and there were pieces of drop ceiling everywhere. Only time I saw a front desk attendant was at check in.

Affordable and convenient from the KS State Fairgrounds. Didn't do the breakfast--we left before 5 a.m. Nothing flashy, but definitely was what we wanted. Good bathroom & shower (🙌), and spacious for three of us--we got a double queen room.

First, based on other reviews I read when I booked, I want to say manage your expectations. This is a Super 8, not the Ritz. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Room was nice and cozy and warm. Freezing temps outside, so nice for a warm room, where heat could be adjusted to our liking. Coffee in the am in your room, or do downstairs and have a waffle, muffin, bagel, juice, coffee...very nice everywhere.

This Super 8 was just ok. It was conveniently located, but was in need of some upgrades and needs a very deep cleaning. The advertised hot breakfast was the waffle iron, that is pretty much it. The apple and orange juice dispenser was “out of order” and the cereal dispenser wasn’t working properly.

Nice people, clean pool, clean room, close to shopping and dining. Breakfast was ok (seems nobody has eggs or biscuits n gravy anymore.) Cleanliness of halls and stairways could use some attention and only $10 per pet when most places are $20-$25
