Quality Inn South

I did not even stay there. I tried calling several times and did not get a response before I arrived. When I pulled up the big Quality Inn Sign was not even there. I had to open both of the sliding doors to enter. Nobody was even at the front desk. There was a number to call so I called and it was for the phone at the front desk which nobody was there. They charged me for my room last month and I would like my money back. I went across the street to a Holiday Inn Express. I feel as if I was scammed.

We only stayed one night of a three night stay. The first thing we saw when we got there was the Quality Inn sign was torn and hanging. There were broken windows, the first room we were put into wasn't clean. The second room was clean, but not restocked. It only had decaf coffee, the towels were stained and had holes. The shower curtain had holes as well.

Pulled up to the hotel and parking lot was empty as ever. Went to walk in and the front door was broken had to be manually opened, after checking in and heading to my room I noticed another exit door completely broken off the hinges. Got into the room and overall was okay, lamp on desk was broken in two pieces. The couch looked very questionable and completely worn out. The pictures of the hotel are completely misleading as to the condition of the hotel

The most important positive is that the room was clean. However the state of repair was lacking and detracted from my overall impression. The provided desk chair had one armrest which was detached and just left hanging. There was part of maybe a lamp(?) lying on the desk , and multiple patched places on the walls and in the tub/shower. TV was older, but worked fine. The electric outlets seemed functional, microwave and refrigerator worked. Bathroom was functional and clean, although the toilet flushed very slowly. Basic toiletries that were provided were adequate. Provided breakfast was standard for this class of hotel... Muffins, waffle machine, cereal, yogurt, etc. I did like that the yogurts offered were a variety of flavors rather than all being a single flavor. Staff were exceedingly friendly. The pool was still closed, so I can't rate it. The location is okay... A gas station is adjacent to the property , so very convenient to fill up. There are several restaurants nearby within .5 mile. Although not a huge selection of food choices, and the quality of some is perhaps "iffy", at least it's more convenient than needing to drive several minutes down the road to find something to eat.

I wish it was possible to write this place lower than one star. Those standing water on the carpet in the hallway. The pool had a semi-permanent tarp over it with strange things growing on top of that. The room had water stains on the lower portions of the wall and the headboard and smelled moldy. The clerk sent us to another room because that one was so bad and the air conditioner did not work. We demanded immediate refund which was given

The swimming pool was closed so we couldn't swim. Our first room the air conditioner was broken but they moved us to another room.

The great: No issues with my 95 lbs. GSD service dog! The Good: Our bed was was comfortable, King bed, was comfortable with enough pillows for my wife and I. The TV, Microwave and refrigerator all worked. The Bad: Older two story hotel with no elevator. The main sign outside is torn in half and there is garbage everywhere outside. The Ugly: Maintenance. Enamel was peeling off the shower walls. Hard to get the sink to stop running. And just don't look in the closet. Please.

Front desk guy un profesional, place looks abandon and no breakfast

The property was unkept and very nasty. The grass needed to be cut and trees trimmed. The parking lot needed attention. Broken glass was in the parking lot. I will never stay there in another Quality inn motel again. Very horrible stay. Money should have been refunded.

We stayed in the king suite, it was everything but sweet. The tv in the "living space" did not work the water pressure for the Jacuzzi took 45min to fill past the jets. The lighting in the living space was dingy and one lamp wouldnt even turn on. The couch that was the 2nd "bed" as a pull out was dirty and way over used. The ac only cooled the bed room and the ONLY comfortable place to be was on the bed. Breakfast was crap no hot options aside from a waffle. No milk for the 1 option of stale cereal, and "orange juice" was tampico. The "all day coffee bar" was out of creamer. To top it if you get a room that is on the 2nd floor there's no elevator.

When checking in, we were assigned a room that had NOT been made up for occupancy, which the staff corrected immediately. In the newly assigned room, the lamp power socket one side did not work causing me to have to install my health device power cable to be strung clear cross the room, causing a safety hazard. The bathroom stool seat was loose and the stool flush valve did work correctly, the flapper valve had to be messed with several times for it to stop running. The shower curtain would not stay closed during showering due to IMPROPER installation thus allowing water to go all over when showering. The outside area was littered with whiskey bottles, oil bottles and a syringe. The personnel made an attempt to clean up the mess but overall, with all the issues a lot was overlooked. Would not accept a room there from Quality Inn there again.

Heard doors slamming around 11:45pm, 12:30am, 2:30am, and 4:30am(It sounded like someone was pushing a cart and was cleaning rooms at 2:30am and 4:30am). Pictures on website not even close to what room looked like.

The carpets really needed to be cleaned better, towels washed to remove mascara stain from previous customers, and bed topper needed to have been washed. The sink faucet was hard to alternate between cold & hot water. In general, this property needs some repairs/updates. The bed was comfortable w/ clean sheets & it was quiet and seemed safe.

The propert first was booking us into a dirty room, the switched us to a different room. We noticed a blood spot on our bed. Then when wevwoke up there was anys all over the desk. Hoping breakfast was going to be good my daughter and i headed down and food was cold and there was no syrup for waffles. Not much of a selection to choose from. Other than that at least they were willing to refund us for the second night because we didnt want to stay again

Honestly my stay was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The room was absolutely filthy, the toilet didn’t even work and when I told the front desk manager about it he said he would come up and look at it but never did. And when I found hairs in my bed that were obviously pubic hairs he didn’t even offer us a new room or anything. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

On the website this hotel looks clean and new but when you get there you can tell they altered their pictures online. Our room smelled like cat pee and needed a really good cleaning. Breakfast consisted of dry cereal and waffles. It was a joke. The only decent thing about our stay was the bed was comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

1st room had a broken toilet. The second room we were moved to the door lock was broken. 3rd room is fine except there was dog hair on bed and blood drops on the chair. The remote had dead batteries. The staff has been helpful with the issues as they have come up. The staff is not the issue.

Hotel was acceptable for the price.One problem was the lamp at the night stand was not plugged in and there was no outlet on that wall to plug it in.

Had to request a second room. The first room the TV connection was damaged. The second room the desk lamp was broke snd the toilet seat was close to falling off. The entire place needs maintenance and cleaning up.

Room was clean. Carpet did need cleaning and the Air conditioning unit didnt work.. But, the weather was unseasonably cool so i had no problem falling asleep.

The handle for the shower was off and laying in the bottom of the shower, the smoke detector battery was pulled down so not active/working, the a/c vibrated and was very loud. The lady at the front desk was not disrespectful but you could tell she did not want to be there.

Needs updated and repaired. Heater/ air conditioner didn’t work in room, all the outlets on the side didn’t work. Outlets were missing covers. No screen on the window.

Staff at the front desk was rude to a customer in line before us. Then was just quick and inattentive with us. The room was not nearly what the pictures online showed. There were patches of different colored paint on the walls. A drawer handle fell off when I touched it. There was a stain on my pillow. And small rust spots on the bathtub.

The room was below average but I expected that because of the price, the service for the most part was excellent. This is because of the young man who is at the front desk almost 24/7, I didn't get his name, sorry to say. But there is one issue I had, the last day I was there I had to work early and was going to book the room for another night. I tried several times on the site I had booked with but the hotel wouldn't take just one night. I called the property to fix this and I spoke to a woman, the manager, Pinky is what she goes by, that is all the info about this person that I could find out. When I spoke to this woman I explained my situation to her. Told her I had to leave early for work and I wanted to book another night, told her I tried the website and failed to book, I told her I was at work and couldn't get there before checkout to give her the cash but they I had a friend in the room who would gladly pay it for me. However my friend had lost his phone the night before and was unreachable to me, this lady agreed to go to the room and explain this to him and have him call me so I could keep the room. I didn't want to lose my 50 dollar deposit because I had borrowed it and was to return it at checkout. I was under the assumption that she had spoke to him and the room was paid. This was not the case, she had lied to me and as a result I lost the 50$. Bottom line is do not trust this woman if you stay at this motel. She is not there for the good of the client

The person was not in the bathroom, if so a sign is understandable. No, this is the process. The dude came down the stairs walking his dog and saw me waiting at the front desk. He was the desk clerk; that is the process. Dingy, dirty banana’s coffee and packaged muffins for breakfast nothing else

I travel quite a bit but require very little. I found the room to be clean and comfortable. The entry lights and lamps were all plugged in and worked. The bed was comfortable. There were places to eat within a short distance. It checked all my boxes, a bed, a bath and a place to eat.

Where to begin with this place? From the crumbling infrastructure, The pool completely not taken care of so they completely just said forget about it, To the little stuff, not being able to get toilet paper in a timely manner from not being able to get soap and conditioner and not have access to simple things like coffee inside of a room. The employees are able to do what they can but what they’re allowed to do is very little if anything at all. I was told I can check in early and ended up waiting 20 minutes to even be acknowledged, and the owners realize I was there and tell me to pick up my room key underneath an item on their desk? Unprofessional To say the least. When walking around the hotel to check surroundings and where things are, there is a huge leak in the ceiling and it looks like it has been there for weeks if not months and it continued to get worse during my stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, which you would understand being a two star, but the pillows were just as worse as the bed. Breakfast wasn’t even worth your time. And with breakfast being there, very few items were available if at all. The room service lady was extremely rude to fellow guests. This by far was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I understand there are star levels to hotels, and I wasn’t expecting much, but this was beyond worse than two stars. An absolute abysmal stay.
