The location was great. The cleanliness was a little lacking. Even though it was old it could have been a lot cleaner. Put it this way only the minimum gets done. Now for the staff Leroy was awesome at the front desk. Would I stay there again? Only if Leroy was still working there.

We loved our little room (108). It did need a tew minor repairs (kickplate to bathroom sink was off & a patch in the ceiling hadn't been painted over). The location was perfect for exploring the French Quarter. The absolute BEST part of our stay was Leroy! He's AMAZING! Friendly, helpful, and a true delight to converse with. HE is what will definitely be the reason we stay again. The Assistant General Manager was cold & rude first thing in the morning. Upon checkout; pulled my car up into the middle of the street (in the rain) & left. I had to properly parallel park it myself.

Staff is great and friendly, it's clean, the room I stayed in is a little bit of a fixer upper but generally really nice looking. I'm not sure about parking cause I didn't bring a car. The location is really good too. It's in the French quarter but not in the middle of it so it's quiet. I would go there again for sure.

I was really looking forward to visiting New Orleans for the first time and staying at this historic hotel. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t what we expected. When we arrived, our room was very dirty, there was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom, and several of the cabinets were broken. We brought these concerns to the hotel and requested a refund, ultimately deciding to move to another nearby hotel. I do want to recognize the staff, especially Leroy at the front desk. Leroy was incredibly accommodating and understanding throughout the situation. In particular, the person who helped with our refund request was extremely helpful and made a frustrating situation much easier to navigate. I really appreciate the way we were treated, and their kindness helped make the rest of our trip much better.
