This was a great place to stay. Good price, wonderful hot tub and pool, quiet rooms and hallways, friendly, efficient staff and I was very pleasantly surprised. If someone had appointments at true Ochsner Medical Center, the Brent House Hotel would be an excellent choice. We were traveling thru and it was close to the airport.

Very nice hotel, clean, beautiful atrium, nice pool and hot tub. Nice gift shop, snack shop, and cafeteria. Adjacent parking garage. As a tourist, be aware this hotel is connected to large hospital,so, wheelchairs and scrubs are everywhere, just a little different... Great food places nearby. Bus available on street in front.

Pros: I felt very safe here. Parking garage is walking distance. Very convenient for medical stays as it’s connected to the hospital. Cons: not much place to park for checking in. Has no parking signs right in front of entrance.

Pros: Room was clean and amazing exactly as described by listing. Cons: Listing not clear about being located inside hospital. Construction on and arou d facikty made it almost impossible to get to frint desk to check in. Pool was closed for renovation. Waiting area for checkin flooded with hospital staff and patients. Parking was an absolute nightmare competing with hospital patients and staff.

While the hotel itself was a nice place to stay (loved the atrium and amenities), I would not stay again due to the checkin/parking situation. There was nowhere to park to checkin which meant parking in the garage off to the side before check in.

Apparently there was a sewer leak in or near the lobby. And a lot of construction going on that made it hard to get around the facility and to the garage. Otherwise a great place to stay!

I arrived at the hotel and check-in was simple and easy. The hotel only charges a $50 deposit. The room itself was clean and spacious, although I really wanted the bathroom to be just a tad larger. Unfortunately, the first floor rooms were under renovation so there were no accessible rooms available, but my mother and I made do. There are shops and dining along the first floor of the hospital and adjacent to the hotel so picking up something to eat, OTC medications, and forgotten toiletries is easy. Interestingly, the dining is very reasonably priced. There’s a very good coffee place that’s reasonably priced as well that has Starbucks-like drinks. In all, I am very happy with the hotel stay and since it’s right in the hospital, you’re not too far from Downtown New Orleans and other attractions. Back to the room, I had a double Queen room. The chairs in the room were comfortable enough that mother kept falling asleep. The beds and pillows were comfortable. My only knock is that one of the towels had a blood stain that had been washed but it was still there. The room I had featured a neat view of the pool area and some residential homes next to the complex.

Wallpaper peeling, tub paint peeling, seal around toilet was also peeling off, carpet was very stained and had rips, tub and sink drained really slow, bathroom AC vent was filthy, entry way by downstairs elevators smelled like dirty mops and sheets smelled odd and not clean.

This made the third or fourth time we have stayed here. The facility is clean, smells great, has a lovely pool and common area too. I have to thank Tina at the front desk and Aaron in shipping and receiving. I was in desperate need of a UPS packaging that was sent for me and they took great care of me to ensure I had it when it was needed.

Once I got passed the fact that my hotel was INSIDE a hospital, it was fine. I didn't realize that "next door" meant connected to a hospital, and this really threw me for a loop. The entire vibe of the place is like a hospital despite being on the hotel property part. Was only there 1 night, slept like a rock. Super quiet room, low water pressure, nice receptionist. The first room they gave me was actually already occupied with someone else. My card key worked when I got upstairs, but the deadbolt to the door was locked from the inside so this was an odd start. New room was great. I didn't go in the pool but I walked outside and the area was nice.

The location was safe since connected to a hospital, parking was free and plenty of spaces. The check in was fine but they had computer issues at check out, we left without a invoice. The room is clean, had both a refrigerator and microwave. The 2 bads are the main door slams hard every time your neighbors leave or enter, this gets irritating when you want to sleep. I manually close mine to avoid this. The other is the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors conversations and they can yours.

The noise was relentless. Noise like renovations or bowling balls hitting the floor above me. When I called the front desk to advise them of the situation I laid back down and the front desk called me right when I was trying to doze off and asked me to go outside to meet the maintenance man. I was in my PJs and said no. Then I was blamed because they could not find the noise. The front desk was rude. The following morning the noise began again at approximately 6am. The floor under the beds have old trash, water bottles and goodness knows what else. So I would never give them many stars.

My first gripe is that the GPS location is horrible. The signage is obscure and not visible enough to a person driving and trying to find the actual hotel. Skipping to the room itself, the only shortcoming is the wait for the water to get hot. Now backing up, the front desk was very helpful. And the room was very clean and comfy. Even with the extra furnishings, it wasn't cramped.

Great atrium to meet others or relax. Refrigeration in the rooms always needed to be changed out. Management was excellent at resolving issues. Easily hear neighbors. Door shut and latch very hard, noisy. David is always curteous. Bianca was a great house keeper.

The lady working the check in desk could use some training, she didn’t give us very good directions and she wrote the incorrect room number (ours) on someone else’s card sleeve because they were trying to get in our room and they showed us the key sleeve and it had our room number on it!! They went back to the desk and come to find out that they were in the room next door?

Stayed here with my girlfriend while in town for Jazzfest. Very comfortable stay, close enough for a trip into the city, but just away from it enough to not be overwhelmed by crowds. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is great for New Orleans, once you get past the weirdness of it being connected to the hospital. It was in a safe area with a covered parking area used for the hospital that guests of the hotel can also park in. It is a very close drive to Tulane, the street car, and the garden district. It is only because it isn’t in a more touristy area that this hotel is not double the cost as we have stayed at much older, run down properties in less safe areas of New Orleans for much more money.

Second time staying here conveniently located and clean and updated hotel and rooms. Had booked at another hotel this visit and didn't realize that it was in a not so nice part of town. Had to cancel last minute and they got us in right away. You'd never know that you are connected to the Ochnser Medical center as the hotel is quiet clean and offers great amenities and offers free parking off street in the hospital parking garage. Lots of great restaurants nearby and great proximity to Tulane University which was the reason for our visit. Our goto from now on when visiting NOLA.

Very nice property attached to the hospital. Very safe and quiet considering. No noise from the hospital at all. Not much in the area at all, except for a Waffle House and a CVS but thats what kept it nice and quiet. Bus line right out front too.

It was a great hotel a lot to offer but I did not realize that it was around a hospital. I drove for an hour trying to find it but I kept driving pass because it was not an actual stand alone hotel. It needs to be indicated that it is right next to the hospital so no-one else drives for an hour looking and riding past it.

It was the cleanest room. I felt comfortable walking in my socks on floor. The bed was rather hard tho and the shower curtain rod in our room was very rusty. You had to run around in the shower to get wet. But it was clean. I even used the shower cap. Thank you for that. The directions for the hospital are a bit confusing at the elevators. And the cafe? the breakfast was absolutely horrible. I've never had hospital food that bad. We will bring our own next time. The convenience of not having to leave the building to get to my doctor is awesome. The rate was okay too. Was hoping to get a discount but it was not offered after announcing I was a patient. The desk staff acted as if they were not interested in working that day, I guess they were having a bad day too. Love the atrium area. People were relaxing and reading by the water feature. Very nice. The rooms are larger than I expected and again, extremely clean! The plug in the lamp at the bedside table didn't work to charge our phones. That was sad. We will be returning for a doc visit soon.

We decided to go on a last minute overnight trip & came across this hotel. On our way their I decided to start reading more of the reviews and kept noticing people mention nurses coming by or staying here post surgery. I then realized this was attached to Oschners. Dont know how I missed that but oh well. We ordered pizza from a place included in the room guide & it was amazing!! For breakfast we went to the cafe downstairs which is where you can definitely tell it's a hospital. Lol!! Everyone was in scrubs & my kids started asking why. Lol!! Food was good & there was a PJs coffee spot next to the cafe. They made the absolute best Matcha Latté. The pool was nice & their were cabanas you could hang out by. & they have a really pretty sitting area that had water fountains where you could drink your coffee or eat breakfast. That morning an awful storm came through and we called the front desk to see if we could wait til it passed to check out since most of the things we wanted to do were outdoors & they were super accommodating. Only downside I can think of is the parking is pretty far from where the rooms are and we couldn't find a luggage trolley to wheel our stuff in. And the layout is kind of confusing but other than that it was a nice place to stay for a quick trip.

Extremely well kept and clean facility very quiet, friendly staff there is no actual restaurant. It is in the hospital, but there is a bistro and coffee shop in the hospital, which is connected to the hotel. I love this place. I’ve stayed here multiple times and will stay here again.

This hotel is attached to the hospital, so if you have family in the hospital this is super convenient. It is affordable, the rooms are super clean and the hotels atrium is breath taking. It has everything a 4 star hotel has except a pool. Theres a whole food court including smoothie king, pj's coffee, subway , etc. Fitness room and even a hair salon/ barber shop. Overall very happy with this hotel and i was close to my dad whos in icu next door!
