Pool was green and filled with algae. Very disappointing for the kids. Beds were very uncomfortable and we could feel every spring. Staff was friendly enough but nothing exception, with the exception of the valet who took time to tell us the local parking options with prices and help us find a nearby convenience store. Wouldn’t suggest this place to stay especially if you intend to use the pool.

My overall stay was really good! We enjoyed the balcony view of the city from our room! Happy hour was surprisingly smooth and well organized with complimentary snacks at a self-serve buffet. The rooms were clean and we especially loved the hardwood floor. The only things we didn’t like was the AC unit in our room was hard to adjust, making it warm in the room most of the stay. We didn’t like the size of the bathroom…too small. Also, the pool was inoperable, we were looking forward to taking a swim. Other than that the staff was very accommodating and nice. The location was convenient, within walking distance or short Uber ride from all the action. There were other convenient restaurants and bars around the area. Safe and quiet neighborhood was a plus. We’d stay again!….contingent upon the pool being operable and AC is fixable.

Very disappointed with our stay. The pool was closed with no prior notice, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The shower was broken, and the room was not clean upon arrival. We also didn’t receive any service during our stay—no fresh towels or cleaning. To top it off, the customer service was rude and unhelpful when we raised these issues. Definitely would not recommend.

If you re driving to NOLA and stay at this hotel parking could be a challenge unless you dont mind paying $50/ night. Other than that everything is great especially the breakfast

The ONLY reason I gave the 4 stars instead of 5, in the "Property condition & facilities" area, is because of the pool. I will just say it was less than desirable and leave it at that... I am sure they\'re well aware. Otherwise we LOVED our stay and the staff!!!

Check in was later than 4 due to housekeeping. Staff was friendly but housekeeping not too good. Diaappointed in room view-roof tops and side of building- and couldn't sit out on the balcony because of the loud fans from surrounding building. If you dont need the extra space, would recommend room on highest floor for views. Was nice to have 1.5 bathrooms and double sinks in main bath. Deep tub but barely big enough for one person. Shower tile and grout needs a good cleaning due to neglect- looks like black mold and scum. Room was supposedly cleaned but when i wiped up small area on the floor near couch when i spilled powered, washcloth was black. Beds were very comfortable. Free made to order breakfast/buffet was great and received free drink per night coupons (2 ea) which was wonderful. Room had lots of ants-floors, counters, tables, furniture and maintence came to spray as soon as we notified them.

My spouse and I have stayed at this location a few times over the years; this trip we found a noticeable difference in the cleanliness and attention to details as it relates to the room and property. As an aging property, its even more important for them to pay attention to thorough cleaning. The floors in our room did not look like they were swept well, crumbs and dust as present in the living room and bathroom. The faucet in the bathroom was loose and there was a slow drain in the sink. None of the elevators looked to be swept either and there were clear signs of wear and tear that has been ignored. The balony door had broken gap at the bottom and the lock on the balcony did not work at all, even on the 15th floor, being able to secure the door is important. I understand tourism is down in New orleans but hotels need to continue investing in the properties to keep their loyal customers coming back. My spouse and I will be considering other hotels next time we come back. Hopefully Embassy suites can get back to the 4/5 star quality they once had...sadly it felt 3 star this time.

There was no hot water, so I had to take a cool shower. Also, the air conditioning unit was making super loud noises, so we had to turn it off. In addition, we have a large pickup and had to pay 52.00/night for parking with valet, no choice as it was downtown so nowhere else to park. Staff were very friendly! They were the highlight of our stay!

Property was ok. The pictures of the balcony are very misleading. Unfortunately the pool was not available when I checked in, although this was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. More than likely would not stay here again. Breakfast was horrible as well.

Check in was good. Front desk lady was very nice. Unfortunately, the first room was a double(booked a king) and the a/c wasn't working-77 degrees... Back to lobby where the nice lady promptly got us a different room. A/c was good but still a double. Back to the lobby where the nice lady gave us another and assured us it was a king. Up to the 9th floor and key didn't work. Back to lobby, guess that room you can't program a key but they had the one that worked. Ok, back up and yay!, it opened and all good, cold and a king. This was at 11pm after a 16 hour day of travel and layovers so finally good to sleep! Room was nice, bed comfortable, big TV's . Wish we could have arrived when we initially were supposed to but oh well, stuff happens. I had read reviews about a/c problems, just our luck I guess. Rooms are quite nice and recommend for that reason and the nice front desk lady resolving our issue eventually.

The phones in the property were there for decoration…they did not work…I ask for clean towels and had to walk down to ask again before I got them… I wanted to order room service and was unable to.

the stay itself was average however the front desk “manager” Hailey was incredibly disrespectful after her staff confirmed we had our stay until Friday and she told us we are only able to stay until Thursday and said there’s nothing i can do. No Apology or sympathy, very disappointing!

I made reservations over a month ago I arrived around 3 pm at the property. We stayed in the properties waiting area for hours because They weren’t able to get us checked in until almost 7pm because they didn’t have any clean rooms is what they said which resulted in us missing an event we were suppose to attend. The event tickets were non refundable. Their lobby was packed full of people that couldn’t check in be cause they didn’t have the rooms ready, so many ppl were complaining. And there was really long stings of hair in our bed.

Hotel was booked and paid for weeks in advance. When it came to checking in at 4pm, staff stated there was no rooms available and housekeepers were behind schedule. They also stated they didn’t know when there would be a room available. After 3 hours, they finally had a room open. Once in our room, the door would also be hard to open, the AC would not blow cold air. The room temperature was at 77 degrees for a couple of days until we called it in. Once the AC was sort fixed, the AC then started to be loud when it would turn on and loud noise while it was on. Called for new towels and toilet paper and didn’t received the items until 3 hours after. Valet was expensive even though we would have to wait 5 to ten even 15 minutes for our car to be brought. We asked for some sort of compensation due to the inconvenience that we’ve had for the whole week and all they gave us was points towards our Hilton Honors rewards. We’ve stayed there before and assuming that we would have another good experience only to have a horrible experience and for future stays, we’d agree to not book with this hotel any longer.

The Embassy Suites in New Orleans was an excellent hotel at an excellent location for visitors. However for two consecutive nights, staff members entered our rooms unannounced, and without knocking and one of our days we returned to our room to find one of our drawers completely open. We reported it to the front desk but were dismissed.

I have stayed here multiple times and the experience is always pleasant. The entire staff are so professional and extremely nice. The price also reasonable. This is my spot to stay when I come to New Orleans if I do not have to be on the strip for special event.

When I arrived I was greeted by the most AMAZING front desk clerk Marvin!! He was kind, friendly, polite & efficient!!! I didn’t have to ask any questions the was very thorough!!! The room was VERY comfortable & clean! It was everything we needed for our weekend stay.

We had a great time at the Embassy Suites New Orleans. We came to New Orleans to see the National WWII Museum. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the museum and riverfront. The hotel's staff is great - everyone is very helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Included was breakfast and happy hour! At breakfast you could have made to order eggs. Just great! Definitely recommend.

Staff was friendly the hotel is close to Riverwalk outlet which has streetcars that you can ride to go to the French market. The complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was friendly rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is 15 min walk to Bourbon street

My wife and I had a great time at the Embassy Suites for our anniversary weekend. Great location in the Arts and Warehouse district. Short walk to the river walk, many bars a restaurants along with the French Quarter. Only about a 25 min ride from the airport as well. This hotel was very accommodating.

The perfect place to stay before (or after) a cruise. With in walking distance to the French Quarter and the Port. Room was nice size and comfortable for our family of 5. We enjoyed the view of the cruise ships from the balcony. The breakfast was good and decoration was a fun touch.

The room was spacious and pretty clean. The breakfast was delicious, with lot's of options and an omelet station, where the chefs will make you a custom omelet or other eggs of your choosing. Upon check in guests receive vouchers for free drinks at the daily mixer, which is between 5:30 and 7 pm in the lobby bar. It's a great way to meet people and find out about the area from other visitors. They also have snacks such as chips and salsa, crackers and cheese, fruits and veggies etc. Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. They assisted in mailing out a package so that I didn't have to spend an hour and a half going to and from the nearest post office. The local post office was out of service. The hotel is conveniently located a relatively short walk to Canal Street and other areas of interest, or you can hop on a bus or trolly to get around. You can get a 24 hour public transport pass for $3. They also have weekly and monthly passes available. A one way trip is $1.25 without the pass, so just spend the extra $0.50. We were only in New Orleans for two nights, but plan to return and plan to stay at the Embassy Suites when we do.
