Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD

The staff was excellent. Both the check-in and the morning staff were very helpful. My room needs to be updated. New carpet is a must in the shower/tub needs to be replaced. Location was great for my needs and I really enjoyed the four different restaurants within 100 feet.

Hilton Garden Inn - New Orleans: Our room was supposed to be ready at 4 PM (4-night stay). We arrived around 7 PM. The room was NOT ready. We were told to stand by, as in wait a couple more hours. Our room was NEVER ready, we were told we could stay in a down-graded room instead. Basically, take it or leave it. We decided to take it. But! No Towels!! We could NOT believe it. The hotel had run completely out of towels! We were exhausted and in need of showers, but no towels! Not for just us, but for everybody that night! So, no showers until the next day. We finally got our nice room (with a view of the City) the next day, but it was not easy! Furthermore, the Hotel overcharged us, we got cheated big time. We tried to call them MANY times, we were always put on hold, then cut off. Nobody would even call us back, as promised! Finally, we didn't notice it until after we checked out, but our car had damage to the left rear door. We had paid for hotel parking, but they marred our car with a lot of scratches down to bare metal, as if the valet driver had scraped a concrete column! They didn't tell us about it, we knew if we tried to receive compensation it would be impossible. So we are forced to let it go and eat the costs ourselves. Note that I don't blame the staff at the front desk for any of this They were doing the best that they could. I blame their management! In summary, I would NEVER stay at that miserable hotel again in my life! I would rather sleep in an army tent!

Nice location very friendly staff

Staff was friendly but the room was not ready until almost 6:30pm…and after waiting because it needed to be cleaned, there were still bedazzle gems and glitter all over the bathroom. Originally picked a room on an upper floor with views and ended up on lower floor with view of next building’s roof and ac vents. Won’t be on the list of places to stay next time.
