We absolutely loved our stay. We had a King “no windows” and it was so incredibly quiet every night. The pool and pool house were so nice. Perfect temperature, and fresh ice to lounge around with drinks. 20 minute walk to Bywater brunches, close to 5 minutes to Canal or Bourbon.

We really liked our stay at the French Market Inn in New Orleans. We especially loved the inside courtyard which was very quiet and serene. My son used the pool and it was a great place to sit and get away from the noise and people in the French Quarter. The only thing I didn't like was that everyone was smoking outside and you could smell it when sitting in the courtyard. Maybe they could have a designated smoking area. The room was fine but the bathroom was a little outdated. I would stay here again if I was on the upper floors because we were on the ground floor and it was sometimes noisy at night. The staff was very nice and very accommodating bringing us extra towels and pillows. Great introduction to the historic city of New Orleans!

This is a lovely hotel right in the French quarter. Staff are very friendly. Room was beautiful. The only drawback was there was no designated smoke area so when walking in the beautiful courtyard we had to walk through the smoke which was not nice.

We've stayed at this hotel before and love the location. It's close to everything you'd want to do in the quarter and still not far from Frenchmen Street which has good live music. The pool is pretty small, but it's in a very nice courtyard. The room had a refrigerator and coffee maker.

The hotel sits right on a busy street, but the moment you walk inside it is quiet. The staff were so attentive, bellhop took bags to our room and showed us around. The common areas were beautiful and picturesque. There is a small fridge in the room. Vending machines and ice were located in a building by the pool. Overall, the price of the rooms is not reflective of the quality of the place. However, be aware that parking is offered off site and will run you upwards of $50 a night with parking taxes. However, would 100% stay here again. The property is SO pretty.

This lovely hotel right off Decatur St. in the French Quarter has a welcoming entry space and a great staff that makes check-in easy. We stayed 4 days in New Orleans and this is a great location for lots of New Orleans attractions. Walk to Cafe du Monde, take carriage rides, paddle wheel cruises on the Mississippi, walk to top restaurants, WWII museum. The rooms are not large but are beautifully furnished. Small pool in a beautiful courtyard. Very peaceful.

We really liked this property and would stay again. The courtyard is beautiful and is the perfect place to have your own happy hour. It is shady and quiet and a nice getaway from the hustle of the French Quarter. We normally stay on Bourbon Street but don’t really feel the need to. Is in walking distance to everything. The only thing I could complain about is the maid left clean towels and made the bed every day but didn’t clean floors and bathroom sink. Also the coffee make didn’t work properly when we need it most when leaving when we had to get up at 4::30 for an early flight home. The staff and everyone working at hotel was nice.

Super close (across the street) from excursions like steamboat cruise, swamp tour (which was our highlight), couple blocks from Cafe de Monde, Jackson Square and cathedral. Charming hotel, comfortable beds, great location. Daily cleaning service was good but could be better. We found food crumbs and a piece of cracker stuck on the back of one of the chairs. We put that chair next to the window so the staff could clean it, but it wasn't cleaned. Our room was next to the elevator, and it was very loud at night. We used earplugs so we could sleep. Next time, we'd ask for a room far from the elevator. That said, we would book again when we come back to New Orleans.

Very centrally located. Walkable to so many places. Our room was, unfortunately, right next to the elevator so whenever it was in use we heard a loud noise that was made by it (we stayed in room 333 so you might want to avoid this room.) Other than that it was a nice stay. The courtyards are so cute/adorable.

We stayed here for my 40th and when I say this was the best customer service experience I've ever experienced!!! Our room was ready so we were able to check in early. We were escorted to our room where they had complimentary champagne waiting. The manager Elisha made sure everything we wanted and needed was supplied!!! This was my 2nd time staying in the French Quarter. I knew we would be walking and ubering a lot. This property was budget friendly and conveniently located to many attractions, including Jackson Square, Bourbon St, and Cafe du Monde. The uber was able to pull right up to the hotel and was available very quickly each time. The room around the bed was spacious, closet space minimal, the A/C worked great, the bathroom had a new, nice walk-in shower and fixture. The hotel staff were nice. They held our luggage for an hour after checkout while we ate. My only complaint would be is that I paid for an upgraded window room and my window looked out to the stairwell where all patrons walked out to the courtyard. Therefore I had to keep my curtains drawn the whole time. I made awkward eye contact with a gentleman directly in front of my window the first time I opened them. I would stay there again. I just wouldn’t pay for the window upgrade.

Arrived in the late am and were allowed to check in 5hrs early. Loved the bldg, courtyatd area and our 3rd floor room. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect location. Way better than staying on Bourbon street, which we did our first visit to N.O. So many places within walking distance, Jackson square, Horse Carriage rides, ghost walking tours, graveyard bus tours etc. Could not have been happier w the French market inn. We will 100% stay there again.

I had an amazing stay at the French Market Inn. The location was convenient and everything was within walking distance. The property was clean, safe, and quiet. The rooms and the property were beautiful and I would totally stay again! The pool was a great plus as well. One of my favorite things about the hotel was how kind all of the staff were, especially the bellhop! He wished us a great day each time he saw us. I felt at home and so welcome during my stay. The only downside was the height of the shower; it was hard to reach as a shorter person, but I made do!

Hotel was perfectly situated for a French Quarter stay. Far enough to be away from the noise and bustle of Bourbon Street while easy to walk to everything. Staff was absolutely fantastic, had a small issue and they resolved it before we could even ask. Amazing stay, thank you so much!
Hotel was perfectly situated for a French Quarter stay. Far enough to be away from the noise and bustle of Bourbon Street while easy to walk to everything. Staff was absolutely fantastic, had a small issue and they resolved it before we could even ask. Amazing stay, thank you so much!

Cute inn with great walkability for New Orleans popular spots. We walked to Bourbon Street in 5 minutes, The French Market, Cafe Du Monde, Jackson Square, and many other places. Check out Mother’s Restaurant for food (short drive). The hotel felt very safe for the area, and it was well maintained and clean. We would definitely stay again.

The location is perfect. Right across the street from the Riverwalk, and the Natchez steamboat, and a short walk to everywhere i. The French Quarter, the French Market Inn jas become my favorite NOLA place to stay.

The hotel is the prefect location on Decatur St in the French Quarter. I had the queen petite room which is perfect for a solo traveler. Comfortable bed, frig, coffee maker. The room faces St Louis St which was very quiet and has afternoon sun. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. As a solo traveler I appreciate the hotel’s attention to security with cards for elevators, cameras and 24 hour security staff. My room and the common areas were immaculate. The shaded courtyard and pool area are comfortable areas to sit with coffee or food. PJ’s coffee is downstairs and Cafe du Monde is a short 4 block walk. Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to New Orleans. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our stay. The room itself is small but spacious enough. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. However, the location was the best part to us. The hotel is located close to Jackson square, the French Market, across the street from the river, and a couple blocks from Bourbon Street.

This was the best stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are so kind and as someone who travels often I was impressed with the quality for the price. Not to mention this hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter with Cafe Du Monde and Jackson Square less than 2 minutes away.

Lovely spot! I was there mid week through the weekend. Mid week it was wonderfully quiet, not a peep. Other guests can be noisy on weekends, coming back late, sfter drinking. Place is squeaky clean. Bed was quite comfortable, firm, didn't sag like so many do. The staff are all warm, gracious, helpful - someone is available at all hours. No dining room but so many places close by to choose from. Good wifi, a desk - was able to work when needed. There's a coffee shop next door but best one is 2 blocks away (Pirate King). Only complaint was the shower, slow drain.
