Very clean and conveniently located. Also very quiet considering the location. Staff was curt and not overly friendly but not rude either. Valet parking was ok, but there was no number to call on the stub so I had to go down and ask for my car. Valet attendant was sitting down around the corner instead of at the desk which led to a delay. Overall a good stay for the price.

Fire alarm kept going off as a false alarm! In return the elevators quit working I was on the 15th floor. The room needed some love toilet wound not feel with water when it did it took about 15mins trim on shower was missing tube was kinda dingie. Parking is $40 a night plus a destination fee nightly of $25 not worth all the extras

Staff was very friendly and helpful.Staff was always cleaning.Room was nice and very clean.Housekeeper did great job.Plenty of police presence to keep streets safe.Hotel has it where if you don’t have a room you can’t get up past parking level.Felt safe.Would like to see coffee in lobby.

Ms. Cee Cee was wonderful! We also loved Ms. Koran at the concierge desk. Both were so warm and welcoming. Housekeeping and engineering were very quick the two times that we had a request. There was lap an older gentleman, and I apologize that I didn’t look at his name tag, but he had glasses and a grey mustache. He was always smiling and friendly. The property does need some TLC. The gym equipment wasn’t operational, the elevators were very warm, there were housekeeping issues in our room and the hallways needed some detailed cleaning. I would return simply due to the staff interactions and the infused water machine. Kudos to the team for their warmth!

Easy to park and stay in the French Quarter at this hotel. Friendly hotel staff and clean, quiet room with comfortable king size bed. Nice/clean bathroom with an excellent shower/tub combo, fluffy towels and amenities for showering and shampooing. A hair dryer is included. We received a Destination Pass which included a water bottle, transportation passes each day and discount vouchers for Mr. Ed's restaurant next door. We ate there several times; very good food. Easy to get a cab or Uber from this hotel or use the street car. Also located within walking distance to many F.Q. attractions.We would stay here again.

The pool was broken my entire stay and I only found out when I tried to get in the pool. There was no type of compensation for this missed amenity. I packed 3 swimsuits for nothing. Also there was an extremely rude staff person that I had an interaction with and was treated very poorly. I will never stay here again!!!?

The whole hotel need to be remodeled along with carpet which had ends that were unraveling, a trip hazard. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, had to contact housekeeping. Mirror in the bathroom backing was coming off, distorted around edges. Air conditioner made noise while running. The elevators wasn’t working properly.

We had roaches in our roomed than an hour after checkin! The bathroom was very dirty. We left early because we couldn’t not stay and we also heard from others in the elevator they had a roach as well! If this happens to you and you leave the stay early, ask for a refund!

Room, staff and amenities everything needs improvement. Everything is pretty old in the property. Bathroom roof has seepage, tub is chipped, tv is not a smart tv and nothing could be played. There is No Donot Disturb sign available in any room. Room service knocks at 9 am in the morning.

Our stay was great! The hotel is close to everything and in walking distance to Bourbon and plenty of other attractions! My ONLY complaint is that the A/C wasn’t cooling the entire room and the mattress on the bed wasn’t soft AT ALL but overall it’s good for the money!

The air conditioning wasn’t working, so it had to be replaced. This delayed us from going out to eat and getting settled in. After the maintenance worker installed the replacement unit and it didn’t work, he reinstalled the old one, but it began making a loud squealing noise. When I asked about it, he said it was probably the fan. I thought the noise might stop while we were out, but when we returned, I could hear it before even opening the door. I recorded the sound and went to the front desk, and they ended up transferring us to another room.

Reception was rude, rooms are dark and furnishings old. The room stunk like wet carpet, old socks/mold. I tried airing it out by leaving door open. After 2 nights I told the man at reception about it. No apologies offered, just a put off attitude. Their solution was to send housekeeping to spray something. I said that wouldn’t address the possible health problem. Was told there were no other rooms in my class and was reluctantly offered a lower class room. The air conditioner only blew hot air in this one, and it smelled too, but was better than the previous one. The next day checking out, I was unbelievably scolded like an unruly child by the woman at the desk for not using her preferred terminology for housekeeping. I will never stay at a Wyndham again. The only good thing about the hotel is the concierge and location. Despite those things, it’s not worth the price.

Excellent service and convenient location. Bell boy helps load bags and looks for your Uber so that you don’t have to step into the busy narrow street. Restaurant next door was very good and we also appreciated the convenience of that.

Everything was great except during the night, an employee walked right into my room using their own key while I was in it. I should have filed a complaint because this is terribly unacceptable and if it had been my wife staying there by herself, it could have been a lot worse. I don’t know what the reasoning for this was, but it should never ever happen again.

The location is quite convenient as Canal Street is at the corner, Bourbon Street is just one block away, and Jackson Square is a few blocks further down. It is easy to walk to and from the hotel. Perfect location if you want to be IN the French Quarter. Within walking distance of literally everything and right in the middle of the best Royal St shopping. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Will definitely make this our NOLA go-to!

Great location! Close to Walgreens, French Truck Coffee, and Bourbon St. Service and rooms are super basic; tiny coffee machine in room, no coffee or breakfast in mornings. Some other reviews mentioned that they will bring you a fridge if you don’t have one; this is now incorrect. Please note from April 2025 all Hotels.com/Expedia reservations will be charged an extra $25 per day “destination fee” that comes with not-that-useful “benefits” like a water bottle. Also, the elevator broke down during my stay.

Everything was in great walking distance for the French Quarter. The attached restaurant had phenomenal food. The only challenge would be getting your car from the Valet based on how busy the place was if you wanted to travel outside of the immediate area.

I had an overnight stay during Essence Fest. The location is great, in the heart of the French Quarter, 1 block from Bourbon. Light sleepers should probably choose a different hotel. Check in was easy, hotel was well maintained. It is an older property, but still well kept. No frills, just a comfortable, good location, place to stay. Bonus......you get a discount at Mr. Ed's, it was delicious.
