Did not like that there was no pool and that we were told fir a 25 dollar fee we could use the one down the street. The hotel itself was wonderful and so was the entire staff!

The hotel looked nice but valet parking was unnecessarily expensive especially since they park the car in the same lot you would park your own car in. We also had to wait at night when we returned for someone to valet park our car. There is no pool. Breakfast is an additional cost and a lot of the complimentary items are not disclosed to you upfront.

Le Pavillion is one of the Grand Dames of New Orleans: a vast and gorgeous marble lobby adorned with enormous chandeliers leads to deep red tufted sofas in the newly renovated bar and lounge. Rooms are well appointed and in good condition. Staying in the central business district is much quieter and calm than the French quarter which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurant offerings too. My only complaint is that we went without a tv for a full day because they were upgrading the AV systems and ran into technical difficulties. And I do wish they would reopen the rooftop pool.

The hotel is gorgeous. The staff is amazing. Breakfast not included. (And the one day we are there it was 90.00 for two basic dishes. She had a veggie dish and I had eggs Benedict. Parking is also not included and that’s about $50 a day. The pool was closed for maintenance. Only one elevator. Other was closed for maintenance. Found someone’s dirty sleep mask at the head of my mattress and a wasp Ian my room. (8th floor) Location is great. Several shops and restaurants nearby. Couple blocks walk to Bourbon St. Over all. I’d give this place a solid 4.5. We would definitely stay again!

I attended the Essence Festival in 2025 and stayed at this hotel for the second time. The experience was fantastic—everyone, from the valet to the front desk staff and housekeepers, treated me with kindness and respect. The area is lovely, offering a fresh and elegant atmosphere. Despite the hotel’s age, the interior is well-maintained and inviting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Pros: • Excellent service from all staff members • Beautiful and elegant environment • Convenient location within walking distance to many attractions Comfortable beds Cons: • The cost of valet parking is a downside. Next time, I think I’ll choose for an Uber from the airport since everything is easily accessible on foot.

Le Pavillon is a stylish property in the CBD (Central Business District) of New Orleans. It's conveniently walkable to various places of interest. The staff are lovely and helpful. The cleanliness and decor is top notch. We would gladly return to this property. The only snag we experienced a few times was elevator wait times as one out of the two elevators was down during our stay.

If you want to sleep, don't stay here. Old building and walls are nonexisitant, you hear everything in the next room and in the hall ways. Feels like they took at the renovation funding and invested it into the lobby. Furniture in room is damaged, walls need fresh paint. Bathroom is renovated but not that clean, towel had stains in it.

We found bones from a chicken wing on the side of our bed. The carpet was wet. Sheets were stained. It was really unsettling. The hotel did nothing to help us. They had no other rooms to move us to and we were only there one night, thankfully. Pool was under construction, only one elevator operating. It was really an awful experience. Will never return.

I stayed at the hotel over 15 years ago. Was happy to finally return with my daughter. Check-in was long. Though I prepaid, the card on file from Expedia kept denying when trying to process my deposit. This took almost an hour to resolve. It wasn’t the hotels fault though. Cleanliness was my only issue. The bathrooms need hard water stain removing badly. The walls in the shower were visibly not clean AT ALL. The glass partition needs a serious cleaning w/hard water solution.

The shower was not clean. There was mold in the grout around the shower tiles. The shower doors did not seal, so there was always water on the floor. The blackout curtains did not effectively cover the windows at night, so it was very bright in my room. One of the elevators did not work, so it took a very long time to get up and down. The bathrooms are also very small. The valet staff was excellent.

We were charged for bottle waters and $100 deposit was never put back on my card. We confronted front desk attendant about the water and they said they would remove it from the invoice but they never did. Each bottle was $6.50. Yup. For WATER! Crazy. The best part was that they offered peanut butter and jelly from 9-10pm in the lobby. The flowers in the lobby were really pretty and fresh but the room smelled of mold. Won’t stay here again. The location was nice though.

The hotel overall is good.Our room was not the most modern but the bed was comfortable.Our shower leaked and the toilet pressure was very low.Extreme hot water temperature was a plus.The hotel provided 1 towel set every day until we asked for a duplicate.Mrs.Carter(or Colbert I think) did great at front desk and her customer service was superb.She also gave some good local eatery and shopping tips as well.Great location for all the popular attractions.

Staff was so pleasant at every interaction. The property itself is GORGEOUS. Beds were super comfortable & rooms spacious. Only issue was our AC didn’t work properly the entire stay. Had it set to 66 at one point and no matter what it wouldn’t get below 74 in our room. Called maintenance our last night & thought he fixed it but alas, still no cold air. We brought a portable fan so we just dealt with it as we didn’t feel like having to switch rooms. Either way, I will definitely stay there again upon my return to the area.

Good: beautiful lobby, walkable to major attractions, good location, very comfortable beds. Not so good: a lot of renovation seemed to be going on during our stay and we did not get the $130 tour credit that was listed in our reservation, nobody at the desk seemed to know anything about it. The desk did not answer phone calls when we needed help, so we had to go down to the lobby. No closet in room, so there was nowhere to hang coats, dresses, etc.

Very nice old New Orleans hotel. The only issue I had with the hotel stay was the fact that the air conditioning in the room and several other rooms of the hotel were not cooling which made for a terrible evening. I made three visits to the front desk trying to get the problem resolved and on each visit I listened to other patrons complaining of the air conditioning not working in their rooms. A hotel maintenance worker did come to the room and changed the filter and tried to figure out why it wasn’t cooling but he could not fix it.

I love the hotel and would love to give it 5 stars but I hate the air conditioner. This is my 2nd stay in this hotel and we had the same problem. I assumed it was just that room but it was the same problem, different room. We had maintenance come to check the air and he said it should cool of in about 30 minutes but it never did. So for 2 nights we had to sleep in a warm, uncomfortable room. For this reason, I just don’t think I can stay there again.

Our TV had a loose wire and didn't work properly--we had to have it serviced immediately. Also there was not enough room between the end of our bed and our furniture dresser-- could hardly open the door/drawer to get to the safe

Me and my wife arrived around 3am because of flight delayed so we was very tired I use my debit card to pay for the deposit they took 3 payments off my card and the desk said on her end nothing was received.. we wait one hour in the lobby i called my bank and they said the transaction had with through but the desk clerk said no after hour and half all she had to do was refresh her screen and it was there very unprofessional and needs more training

The stay was fine, the staff was kind of rude to us whenever we had any questions. They told me at the beginning of my trip that I had paid in full and had no amount owing. This is true, I paid fully through Expedia months before our trip from Nov 26-29, 2024. At the end of our trip during check out, the front desk lady said we had no balance owing and were good to go. That same day, I found two pending charges on my credit card for $140.10 and $390.00. I asked the front desk lady what those were and she said they won’t be charged, I owe nothing. I get home and on December 2, 2024, I have a charge posted to my card from the hotel of $542.47. I’ve tried to get in touch with the hotel but I left a message and no one is returning my calls. I also sent in an online inquiry and no one is responding to that either. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. They scammed me.

The staff is one of the most unhelpful I have experienced in my travels. They were rude, seemed annoyed to be asked anything whether it was the front desk or via phone. I would not stay here again and was very disappointed as this was our first time in Nola They really need to hire some new employees as it cld be an amazing hotel

Great property - convenient to the super dome and smoothie king center… walkable!!! Great accommodations, comfy beds- super friendly staff! The late night PB & J sandwiches is a neat touch. Great bar with fantastic cocktails and good food. This is our go to anytime we are in town for a game, show, or concert- never disappoints

Beautiful hotel goi g through renovations. Was experiencing some technical issues which impacted staff’s ability to properly check-in and Check-out guests. Breakfast buffet was marginal and many dishes sat empty for long periods of time. When the eggs or bacon would finally arrive a long line formed and the food ran out before everyone could get some, the breakfast buffet was overpriced for what was provided. Despite these issues, the staff was gracious and apologetic.

We had a nice stay. My only disappointment is the coffee. Not having coffee in the Lobby and not having an easy way to purchase from the breakfast buffet without purchasing a buffet. Pods in the room are not a good answer. Even the cheapest hotels have coffee down stairs.

Hotel staff was incredibly friendly. The valet service went above and beyond to make it a good experience. The location is ideal for easy access to the Superdome and delicious restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was overpriced so I would not recommend that.

The building was quite beautiful. I especially like the lobby area and the bedroom use of wall color and rehab. The airconditioning in the lobby was so cold that it was not possible to sit in the bar area without extra layers of clothing. The breakfast was very disappointing for $20. It reminded me of the breakfasts at the motels on I-95 going south that come with the room

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! I frequently travel to New Orleans, and I must say this is the best lodging experience I’ve had thus far. All of the staff were so friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The ambience was elegant. Food options were great. All of our needs were met and our experience exceeded our expectations. My only complaint would be that one of the elevators was out of service during an extremely busy weekend in the city. Nevertheless, I’d love to stay here again!

This is a beautiful hotel but for the price of the room - over $300! - we had thought there would be complimentary coffee. But when we arrived we were directed to an expresso machine which gave us a tiny amount of coffee and they charged us $4.95. We’ve stayed at much cheaper hotels that provided free coffee.

Wonderful, beautiful hotel, lobby, room & breakfast. Lots of hidden additional fees. So much old-style charm & elegance! Excellent staff everywhere, Tasha at front desk was super nice. Room was beautiful, walk in shower fantastic. Very classy place. Nice location too, almost in French Quarter but not as crowded. ** "Parking available" means $51+ valet OR $57 self park PER NIGHT - in the lot beside. Also an additional $18 "historic preservation fee" added to your room, so add those to the otherwise terrific room rate. Make sure to get the breakfast voucher, it covers ONE breakfast PER ROOM, not per guest. $20 for each additional guest, it was very good.

Our room was facing the parking lot and Saturday night and Sunday morning we constantly heard horns honking which we came to realize was valet hitting the panic button to find where a car was parked so they could retrieve them for guests. Ridiculous because the lot is small enough to find cars without disrupting the whole block with all the horns blowing and waking us up. Also, the kitchen was closed for renovations and that information was not shared through the booking. We specifically wanted a hotel with a restaurant since we were going to a concert and didn't have much time to eat before. We had to overpay for a nearby restaurant nearby for a to go order so we could make the concert in time. This hotel is not what is used to be!
