The room itself was good for what a room should be good for, a place to change, shower and sleep. The bathroom was well kept and there were fresh towels available upon our check in. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the frame wasn’t very stable, the furniture is a bit temperamental but the air conditioning worked well, the location is ideal and the staff is INCREDIBLE. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and so authentically pleasant to interact with. We didn’t utilize parking but from what I understand parking is paid on a stay basis.

Wonderful place to stay from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. The property was close to all of the sights and sounds that makes the French Quarter a magical place. Great walking distance for couples or a family to experience what New Orleans has to offer. The afternoon desk manager was welcoming, excited about sharing the wonders of the French Quarter, extremely helpful about safety, and very knowledgeable about the property. Had no clue that the property use to be the Jazz museum. Will be staying here for future visits, great price on the rooms, awesome feel of old New Orleans in the room, just need a little work on the price of parking (wink, wink!)

If you like a dirty bathroom floor, dingy linens, “housekeeping” where you literally keep the same sheets but the covers are pulled up and the trash that was in the floor in the bathroom gets swept into the bedroom, a shower faucet that may actually break off when you turn it on, and doors that don’t open (not to mention no phone, an extension cord for a charger, and a tv remote that hardly works), then this is your place. If that sounds as bad to you as it actually was for us, avoid it like the plague. I have stayed in the French Quarter many times, and this was by far the absolute worst. No ghosts to blame this on, just owners and managers.
