The Bourbon Orleans is a gorgeous boutique hotel steps from everything in the French Quarter. The lobby is a beautiful place to relax, the courtyard pool is tranquil and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Centrally located to everything in the FQ- it was easy to park the car and have a relaxing time strolling the area streets, music venues and shops. There was also a bar with great live music on property . Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway!

Great hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. The hotel is on Bourbon Street but noise was never an issue. Staff is very friendly, hotel is clean, rooms are nice and the pool courtyard is nice. Breakfast at the hotel lobby restaurant was good. The pool was advertised as heated, but it was pretty cold. Location is excellent. I was with my family and everyone was so nice… definitely kid friendly if you bring them.

Centrally located if you want to be in the French Qtr. Parking is expensive so don’t get a car plus at peak times streets are blocked so cars are n It allowed during peak pedestrian traffic. I’d definitely stay there again

Bourbon Orleans Hotel was the perfect place to stay in the French Quarter with very friendly staff. It was near all the action but also just enough off the main drag so it was quiet inside. It was really nice to have the restaurant and bar area for our first brunch and a lunch on the day it rained. However, there are so many great places to eat that we mostly left the hotel for dining.

The parking is valet only and a steep $50 a day but it was really worth it for the location. I didn’t hear the noise others mentioned. The hotel is gorgeous, every single member of the staff with outstanding and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable I almost wanted to stay in each day! I’d definitely stay again.

Good hotel on Bourbon Street but just beyond the very lively and noisy part of the street. Slightly faded "grand hotel" ambience which we liked. Room was not large, but bed was comfortable and air-conditioning was quiet and efficient. Our room was high up and on the far side of the hotel from Bourbon Street so nicely quiet. Bourbon O bar in the hotel with live jazz nightly is a good spot to begin or end an evening.

I wasn't happy that they did not clean my room everyday and had to call several times to get towels, conditioner and body soap. There was no conditioner or body soap the first time I went to take a shower. Staff at front door was extremely friendly

Love staying here - great staff, location and fun place to stay. The front desk staff and valets were great and made me smile and laugh. However the housekeeping staff needs lots of help. We found trash under the sofa in our room which was gross. I told housekeeping repeatedly and they said they would take care of it. No one came. Upon check out the hotel credited me $100 immediately and apologized for the housekeeping issues. I hope they follow through on the housekeeping issue. I will stay here again and will be one of my “go to” hotels in the quarter.

Some things were great. Some need some attention. Some parts of building in disrepair. Our room had a few issues including bathroom fan making noise and dust on sprinkler heads in bathroom that looks like it has not been cleaned in years. Overall good experience though.

The room we stayed in, which I upgraded to a King Deluxe, had a serious mold issue. Room #140 was so outdated that the outlets couldn’t even hold device plugs without them falling out. In addition to the mold on the bathroom ceilings, the lining in the bathroom was an eyesore and detracted from my overall experience.

I thought the hotel was absolutely lovely. It was sparkling Lee clean from the moment I walked in. I knew I was in a place that was well taken care of and respected. My room was exactly at the same level of excellence. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the location and pool but the room had issues. The blinds were broken and our room overlooked the pool, so any of guests could see into our room. The interior lock on the door was also missing. On the first morning we discovered both the shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty - we tried calling the front desk for over 10 minutes with no reply. We had to track down soap from a cart, but the bottles wouldn’t open. The woman at the front desk was kind, but it was an uncomfortable stay over all.

Something to consider when you book - balcony means it will be loud until early morning. The hotel is very nice and had a pool which was awesome. Given the heat in the summer. The service from staff was wonderful.

The room was big but not wonderful. Only one chair with a back. The stools don't cut it when working at the desk, if that what it's intended to be. I know your designed and accountant love the stools. Really a mistake.

The true rating for this hotel is more like 4.5. Honestly, this is a beautiful hotel that has kept its historical roots and decor very well. Roux is a very nice restaurant for breakfast, and it was a cool thing to have poolside food and drink service! The pool and courtyard are beautiful and well-maintained. Beautiful palms and flower gardens. Our only complaint, and part of it is totally my fault for not researching it more fully, was the size of our room and the fact that it had nowhere to sit other than a tiny circular footstool in the corner of the room. The bed is very comfortable, but higher than usual so not a great sitting option.There was literally only room to walk around the bed, and you couldn't do that without hitting the wall on the right. It was called a King 'Petite Marie', and was expensive, but the least expensive of all the rooms. You are paying for the location, of course, because it is right in the French Quarter and on the corner of Bourbon and Orleans Ave., so I have no complaints that way. We also never heard street noise, which is amazing, truly! Would definitely return and select a bigger room next time! Overall, a great stay!

This hotel is close to everything but is far enough away that you aren't bothered by the noise. The hotel is beautiful and historic. Very comfortable beds and I love having Coffee and water in the room. The room we chose was a Petit King and this room was very, very small. There was nowhere to sit and nowhere to put my laptop. I didn't realize how small this room was going to be. The larger rooms are much nicer.

The location is great and the room was very spacious. The staff was also very friendly. The bed however was a major minus. The pillows are too big and springy, impossible to sleep on. I used a small pillow from the sofa. The mattress was way too soft, my lower back started to hurting. After 4 nights I couldn’t wait to be back in my own bed.

This was my 4'th time visiting the French Quarter. I didn't plan on spending much time in my hotel. Because: It's the French Quarter! However, I ended up spending a great deal more time in my hotel than I normally would have, and for all the right reasons. Everyone, from the valet who parked my car, to the receptionist, servers, bartenders, managers - unbelievable level of service. Claire (server in the Roux on Orleans restaurant) was excellent. Ken and Big T from Touchdown Jesus were amazing as well. There was also a bartender at the pool bar who kept me there for a long time because he was so engaging - I regret that I don't remember his name. I own my own bar and have been in the service industry for about 32 years and there's absolutely no one from this hotel that I wouldn't immediately hire on the spot. I hade an amazing experience. Also, I found plenty of time to experience the French Quarter.

Hotel Review: Bourbon Orleans Hotel Beautiful property in a perfect French Quarter location—steps from Jackson Square. My room was clean, spacious and the courtyard pool was a highlight. Unfortunately, checkout was a letdown. I inquired about a credit on my bill at 4:30 AM on 8/18/25, and the front desk staff brushed it off, claiming it was “taken off but doesn’t show on the bill.” That didn’t seem right—and it wasn’t. Once home, I confirmed the credit was missing and had to call to get it corrected. Hoping it gets resolved, but the issue should’ve been handled properly the first time. Great stay overall, but the front desk experience left a sour note.

Hotel was great and so were the amenities. Infinity who worked at the front desk was wonderful! The older gentlemen working as the bell hop was super helpful and friendly. The gentlemen/bartender that ran the lobby bar and pool on our last day visiting lacked in customer service and completely forgot our order. Was called sweetheart in a very condescending way by him

Unfriendly, angry desk clerk who tried to speak to us in a condescending tone. Unfortunate because I really enjoy the hotel and have stayed here regularly anytime I’m in the city. Silly that a desk clerk would talk to patrons in such a manner, but maybe that’s why she’s still a desk clerk at the age of 50.

The hotel is right on Bourbon and Orleans Street so you could step out onto Bourbon Street and walk around. Not far from excursions and all the popular places in the French Quarter area. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Parking is valet only it’s a small little street.

there are only 2 elevators, side by side, super far away from the rooms in the end of the hallways. they charge you 20 USD per day for allegedly supplying water, coffee and wi-fi. water and coffee, you have to pick them yourself, because no one will bother delivering them at your room. room is tiny. pool is great, and the lobby decor is nice too. restaurant (for breakfast) has the slowest service i've ever seen.

Very nice hotel. Excellent, friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location to explore New Orleans. If you are sensitive to noise, request a room away from Bourbon Street because it can get a little noisy. But if you don't mind the noise, definitely get a room with a balcony. Rooms were large and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Nice pool area and bar was great with live band every night. Drinks at the bar were the best in the area.

Great location. Room clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware that the shower water pressure and hot water are subpar (you’ll get a decent shower still though). Honestly my 1st time in NOLA and not a huge fan of Bourbon street so the hotel was perfect - near the action but clean and safe. The bar in the hotel was great, good drinks, food and live music every night. Randall the bartender was amazing - best part of our stay!!

The staff was great with the exception of the lady who checked me in and convinced me to "upgrade " my room to her favorite! It wasn't better and was on pool side so it was loud and the lightning came through the wooded blinds no matter what. So it was basically daylight all night long. Very difficult to sleep and definitely not romantic. I personally didn't care for the drinks served poolside. They were basically premade and served over ice. Breakfast was kinda ok and overpriced as was the hotel rooms.

The hotel is historic and beautiful. And located right in the Quarter which can’t be beat. The staff is also friendly and very welcoming. Downsides: I had a terrible tiny room on the top floor next to the service elevator. I should have spoken up and switched rooms. It was tiny and noisy. And also there’s no room service or 24/7 food. That’s a huge miss for a hotel in my opinion. Still, I’d come back and just ask for a better room.
