The property was good. Wonderful open-air courtyard, nice pool, great breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. Parking is hard. Leave your Hummer at home. Limited space, VERY tight spaces but it is secure. Need to remember you're in a very historic place. They utilize ALL space, EVERYWHERE in New Orleans.

Second time staying here!!! Staff are welcoming and helpful! The hotel went through an upgrade…lobby, breakfast area and bar are nice and bright. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in New Orleans!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Armstrong park. It is also walk-able to the French quarters - Bourbon and Royal streets. I liked their free breakfast options, especially the espresso machine that's available. They also have a bar in the lobby area. It was an affordably priced and convenient option for me and my family.

Property is located in a perfect location. It is Family/little kid friendly. BW is walking distance from the lively blocks of the French Quarter which was perfect for evening strolls on the quarter. Our SUV fit nicely on their property lot. Their Breakfast selection had plenty of options. Their wifi was a bit sketchy but we didn't spend too much time in the room. We found water bottles on the floor in our room when we first arrived so we know the room was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our check in. The BW staff we encountered were cordial and carried themselves in a professional and amiable manner. We may consider staying again at BW . . . just make sure the rooms are thoroughly cleaned!

From the invasion of fruit flies everywhere (our room, the dining area, etc) to the massive cockaroaches crawling around everywhere. The tvs wouldn't connect to anything other than basic public channels. The staff was the only pleasant part.

The stay was okay for one night. The breakfast was good and the pool was great. Beautiful courtyard with ($25) parking garage, with in & out access. The room was sufficient. Older property. Kind of had a moisture smell throughout the lobby. Nice options for breakfast and cute layout to sit and eat. Staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, the shower was gross. Not cleaned thoroughly. Hair. Mold? We weren’t comfortable using it, but we also didn’t complain so there wasn’t an opportunity to see if they would make it right. We had a quick one night stop and decided to just shower at the next place. The pool was warm and quiet. Beds are only fulls, not even queen size. That made for an uncomfortable sleep but the bed itself was soft. Overall, I would recommend for a quick stay but not an extended stay.

I realize this hotel is in the older part of town however, that was not the problem. The room felt and looked dirty, especially the bathroom. We didn't shower because it looked like it had not been cleaned. They have a parking lot and when we went to take out the suitcases we saw a rat and several roaches. We were only there for one night but that was enough. On the bright side, the staff is super friendly and helpful, maybe that's why it's rated as high as it is.

The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. The lobby is nice. The elevators are not good. The room was really dirty. Like cereal by the headboards from previous guests, dirty carpet, bathroom was really dirty and we felt like we should wear shower shoes it was so gross. Unfortunate because the location was great. But seriously our room was dark and very dirty.

Perfect area, only issue we had we noticed the day morning of our check out day was a bunch of dog hair on our clothes from our bed and our socks had dog hair from the carpet. The office chair had dog food on it.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days for our anniversary. First of all…you really can’t beat the location. It’s within walking distance to lots the city has to offer. AND it’s within staggering distance from Bourbon St after a night on the town. The hotel room was sufficient for our needs: comfy bed, a multitude of pillows, and a mini fridge. It was room 342 and had a pleasant view of the courtyard. Unfortunately it shared a wall with the back (service) elevator. That thing made all kinds of racket all day and all night long! Sounded like people were clumsily moving furniture at 3am. The breakfast stole the show! One morning they served dirty rice and it was literally the best I’ve ever had. So don’t sleep through breakfast…no matter how bad your hangover. Ultimately we would stay here again…however we will make sure in the future we don’t get a room next to the elevator.

A very nice facility that has one of the most extensive breakfast buffets I've ever seen. My room was very large and well appointed, with a coffee maker, mini fridge, and telephone. There wasn't a microwave, but one is available in the common area where breakfast is served. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom. It was so tight it was difficult to squeeze past the toliet to get into the shower.

It was a nice hotel. The garden view was pretty. We had 1 king bed room. The first room was by the employee elevator and it started banging at 5am our first night there. It kept banging over and over for the rest of the morning. We asked to be moved. We were moved without any issues and our room was by another elevator. Thankfully we didn’t hear that one BUT the ac was making a loud noise every 30 mins or so. We didn’t want to move again so we just dealt with it.

Location was great ! Just across the street from Armstrong park and 3 blocks from Bourbon . The continental breakfast was convenient .The room was clean . But it was advertised as 350 sq ft yet seemed much smaller . Felt more like a motel room than hotel . Also a technical issue with their televisions caused it to turn on by itself at 3 am each day waking us all up . When we mentioned it to the front desk they said it was a known issue and offered us late checkout as compensation.We could also hear the water pipes every time an adjoining room flushed or showered .

The bed was comfy but bathroom was small and tight. Our safe was broken and every time they “fixed” it it still didn’t work. The room is well air conditioned but the hallways to get to rooms is mostly outdoors. The pool looked a little sleepy which was disappointing because we were hoping to hang out by the pool on some days. The pluses are it’s conveniently located. A less than 10 min walk to Bourbon for the bars, small shops and music on the street. A 12-15 min walk to Decatur where the bigger restaurants, shops, French market, carriage rides and riverboat is. And the breakfast was better than expected. Hot food like eggs, bacon, potatoes and make your own waffles. Each day they try to change up the options so it’s not the same thing every day. Front desk staff was great. Helped us plan trips and gave recommendations. Overall decent for the price we paid.

The staff were wonderful. Our stay was great. We had a room with mold they moved us right away. The girls at the front desk were so nice and helpful the ladies who do breakfast were very nice and attentive. The staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing especially the gentleman who was at the front desk Lucian, he was so attentive to my daughter and made sure she had everything she needed and we had everything we needed for a room to make our stay more enjoyable. I will definitely come back and stay again.

Our stay on Best Western Plus was mostly excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a flight issue and the staff at the hotel were extremely supportive and ready to help where they could. The room was a bit on the small side but comfortable. The bathroom/toilet was small, and the sink area was separate and did not have a door to the main area. We ended up staying an extra night as our flight home was cancelled and our new room, which was a bit bigger than our previous room was above the swimming pool which was quite noisy after 10pm. On the whole, we would probably stay there again as it wasn't far from the town, and the staff were lovely.

We were at the hotel for Snowmageddon 2025. We were unable to go out as EVERYTHING was closed. The manager had some staff and herself stay at the hotel to take care of everything. They made us feel safe and welcome. Breakfast was always good as was the kitchen staff. They did their best considering what was going on and it was top notch. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks!!

We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and comfortable. Great courtyard and breakfast. Can walk throughout the French Quarter but far enough away for a quiet sleep. Also walked to the Superdome from here. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Location was great ! Just across the street from Armstrong park and 3 blocks from Bourbon . The continental breakfast was convenient .The room was clean . But it was advertised as 350 sq ft yet seemed much smaller . Felt more like a motel room than hotel . Also a technical issue with their televisions caused it to turn on by itself at 3 am each day waking us all up . When we mentioned it to the front desk they said it was a known issue and offered us late checkout as compensation.We could also hear the water pipes every time an adjoining room flushed or showered .

As much as we come to NOLA, this probably one of the BEST hotels. The continental breakfast is the Truth! Get your full and hit the city. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was convenient and safe. I highly recommend you stay here.

This was the best stay! It was clean and safe! The employees were all absolutely more than friendly and helpful! The breakfast was amazing with multiple options every morning and was always fresh. The breakfast staff did a great job at keeping the options full and the area clean. The keurig coffee machine was the best! The courtyard was beautiful and clean and very peaceful. The kids really enjoyed the pool. I really can't say enough about how pleased we are with our stay here. Literally within walking distance of everything without being in the midst of the noise and hustle and bustle. Safe parking with gated garage. The garage was very small but sufficient. This was more than worth the money for the area we were in. The bar was absolutely fantastic in the hotel and very convenient for when we just hung out by the pool with the kids and even offered kid friendly mocktails. We will absolutely stay here again our next visit to New Orleans!

The bed was comfy but bathroom was small and tight. Our safe was broken and every time they “fixed” it it still didn’t work. The room is well air conditioned but the hallways to get to rooms is mostly outdoors. The pool looked a little sleepy which was disappointing because we were hoping to hang out by the pool on some days. The pluses are it’s conveniently located. A less than 10 min walk to Bourbon for the bars, small shops and music on the street. A 12-15 min walk to Decatur where the bigger restaurants, shops, French market, carriage rides and riverboat is. And the breakfast was better than expected. Hot food like eggs, bacon, potatoes and make your own waffles. Each day they try to change up the options so it’s not the same thing every day. Front desk staff was great. Helped us plan trips and gave recommendations. Overall decent for the price we paid.
