Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans

Nice property in a good location just outside the craziness of the French Quarter. Free daily warm breakfast that is fair. Parking is valet only and they charge $50 a night. They park your car off site and outdoors. That said, the valets are awesome, especially Steven! He dropped us off a the Titanic Experience a couple blocks away when it was pouring rain before he parked our car! The front desk people and cleaning staff were all great as well. They have an indoor pool as well. Our room was good, it had a balcony which was nice, but no chairs. A full kitchen which was clean. The beds were comfy.

Unfortunately one elevator was down the whole week of our stay, so only one elevator working made for long waits on the 11th floor. Breakfast was fair. Good but not great. Some dtaff were friendly and helpful but some were not.

No parking at the facility, you either have to go park on your own and they wont even tell you the cost of parking. They only offer valet parking at a fee that is almost half the price of the hotel. The staff was busy on their cell phones while serving at the desk and not even answering the door. Just horrible

Sean from concierge was the highlight of my stay! Rooms are huge, very clean, cold AC, and very comfortable! The laundry and dryer service was also a very much appreciated amenity. $3 per wash and dry load so $6 in total. There is a machine in the room to exchange dollar bills for quarters. Daily breakfast taco is amazing with a rotational menu. There is also a social hour with free food and alcohol every Wednesday evening! Take advantage of it! Safe part of the city too with easy walking access to bus stops and trams, including bus stop to airport (bus number 202)

Homewood Suites is my home when I am in town for Jazz Fest! I have stayed here the last 3 years and we will continue the tradition! Friendly employees, clean hotel, 24hour coffee, and a delicious breakfast that changes daily. I also really love the indoor pool - although I do wish there was a jacuzzi (pro tip - take down your own towel to dry off..the ones provided are more like hand towels). Location is very walkable! Caesars, Outlets, Mississippi River, Bourbon Street, many food choices...and Rouses Market (get food to leave in your room for late night snacks or jazz fest snacks!) I miss NOLA already!!

The hotel is really nice and clean. What I didn’t like was not being informed about the closure of the pool the day of my arrival. Other than the pool issue my stay was relaxing and the breakfast was delicious.

It is always nice to have a small apartment suite rather than just one room, for a stay of several nights. The location was perfect for where we wanted to go (close to streetcar to go to the Jazz and Heritage Festival and walking distance to the river and the French Quarter).. Staff were helpful, breakfast was good and we talked to many other guests there. The indoor pool was nice for a swim after a lot of walking and we got subs at Jimmy Johns across the street the couple of times that we did not feel like having dinner out.

This might not be a new hotel, but read quite recently renovated (probably 2 years ago). The lobby was great, with water and coffee & tea provided and a game table for the children. You need room key to tap to enter the hotel, which I think is positive for security reason. The pool was not working when we checked in - was told under repair, which was a disappointment because the children were looking forward to get some swim during 3 nights stay there. But finally they got the swim the morning when we were checking out, so that's ease the disappointment to the kids a little bit. We stayed during Christmas, so there were snacks provided on Christmas night, which was great! We love the room we stayed in, quite reasonably spacious given its around downtown New Orleans. View would probably not the main thing to see cause its surrounded by another high risers. There was probably a fumigation machine left in the room when we entered in the middle of the walk way (not sure it was left there on purpose or forgotten), but its good to know that its probably fumigated before we arrive. The breakfast was superb, constantly refilled. Might want to get your breakfast earlier to get seats or tables are they tend to fill up quite quickly after 8 am. Parking is valet parking, which was $50 with in and out privilege. There are also a lot of parking garages around the hotel that within minutes walk for cheaper rate. 10 minutes walk to the famous Bourbon St with many restaurants there.

The hotel was convenient and walkable to restaurants. The rooms were spacious, howver our room had a urine smell like a pet had been in there. They need to deep clean the rooms and the carpets. They were also short staffed and we never got our room cleaned.

This is a beautiful hotel in a good location. However, they have a serious roach problem. We checked into our suite and immediately saw a family of roaches crawling on the floor. We went straight to the front desk and they apologized and upgraded our suite on a higher floor. That worked fine until we opened the microwave and saw a roach in there. Management was nowhere to be found. The staff did what they could but they need to do more to address the roach problem. This was my third visit to new orleans and the third hotel I've stayed in. I never had an issue with roaches at the other hotels.

Amazing, views were beautiful, room was spotless, breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had from a hotel in a while 10/10 I highly recommend. Me and my finance we definitely be back

The rooms had dirty curtains, mold in the bathrooms, old showers definitely not your typical Hilton property.

The hotel was spotless, the staff was excellent and their breakfast was superb. Definitely 10/10!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The area was pretty decent. Pretty central to a lot of attractions and restaurants. The staff was nice and knowledgable. The breakfast options each day were nice. I loved that the breakfast area wasn't cramped. I stayed in a double queen. The living room area was nice and spacious as well. The fridge however stuck every time we needed to open it so we had to use some force which caused it to slide out of place each time. The beds were ok not the most comfortable. Also the fitted sheets seemed too small for the mattress. The bathroom was probably the most neglected part of the room. It could really benefit from a makeover. The showerhead fixture was coming apart from the wall. The shower curtain was torn around the rod openings. The door which separated the toilet and shower from the sink was severely damaged at the bottom. The toilet was coming detached from the wall. And the water would splash back when you flushed. Overall an ok stay but probably wouldn't stay again for the cost and lack of upgrades.

Room/hotel smelled, carpet was dirty & sticky, there eaten apples and trash under the bed, our bedside table plugs didn’t work so we couldn’t charge our phones and lamps didn’t work.

My wife and i spent 5 days there had a great time staff was great it was very clean.

The property was fine, however, when I pay almost $200 a night for a room, I don't expect to find black mold in multiple places around the tub and on a kitchen cabinet. I stayed in room 410 and it could use some love. Also the overflow drain in the steel bath tub has been broken and now has a rusty circle around it. It could easily be repaired using epoxy and covered with fresh enamel appliance paint.

Rooms were very clean and modern. Towels, sheets and pillows were were soft. Staff was nice and breakfast was pretty decent. Everything seemed to be well looked after. NOLA streets are loud and a lot of street traffic noise-had to use a sound machine. Pool was a bit cold but it was nice to have it indoors. Only one guest elevator seemed to be running, so long waits for the lift.

The wifi stopped working and never came back up

Room was fantastic size & very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious but didn’t like the shower/tub combo. There was a strong smell of weed in the hallway so wasn’t impressed with that. It looked like there were permanent residents staying as well but could be wrong. Breakfast was really average so disappointing & there was never enough seating to eat. Location was pretty good was close to transport & could walk to a few food options but would suggest somewhere a bit closer to the action if walking around every day as it was a little far from the main part of town.

The beds were not great. Thin, lumpy, mattresses, and the sheets kept popping off the corners. A few improvements, and it would have been much better. Front desk staff was very friendly, though!

The suite was large enough, but too much gray color. Bathtub showing some rust. Kitchen outfitted well with kitchenware. Really appreciated that the refrigerator had an ice maker. Disappointed with 'American Classic' breakfast. Very pedestrian. I was expected more of a 'Big Easy' New Orleans cuisine. The self-service laundry was out of service my entire stay. This was disappointing. This was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. I did appreciate the welcome bag of bottle waters and chips. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was noisy and very disruptive in trying to sleep through the night. Turning it off created a very stuffy/hot/humid room experience. I appreciated the courtesy of your staff.

An amazing suite with a view!! 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms

The breakfast could have been better for complementary as they did say it was a buffet style but I wouldn’t have agreed. Overall the room was fantastic. It had a living room area, Kitchenette and bedroom and decent view. We did complain about the noise of the elevator when we requested away from it 3 weeks prior but it was a great stay

Everything was great but the one negative was the room did not have a safe.

Room was large and comfortable and clean. Ac unit was loud but everything else was awesome. N8ce breakfast and pool.

I didn't feel there was anything great about the hotel. The staff I felt was not friendly. I stopped at the front desk twice and both times, I had the feeling like I was inconveniencing the clerk. I asked if I could request a late check out and I got a long stare followed by a " call in the morning". I then said what time should I call? early!!! The dates on your site are wrong. I arrived on Wed, June 04 and departed on Sat, June 07 In our room we had an empty bottle of shower gel. I asked the housekeeper if we can have it re-filled. The housekeeper did not speak English, and it was very hard to communicate with her. I had to walk her to the bathroom and demonstrate that the bottle was empty. The side doors of the hotel were always locked and could not be opened by our key, even after hours. Exact same breakfest during the entire stay at the hotel.

Great customer service, extremly friendly staff. We had a total of 3 rooms and one of the rooms had a issie with the toliet. When reported to the front desk, the staff and manager quickly esclated our room for sevice and resolved the issue. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!we received such great service it only enhanced the fun we were aving and made our trip even more enjoyable

I must commend Yasmine at the front desk. She helped us immensely through a difficult time when my husband got sick on this trip. And the concierges outside in the front were awesome and professional and very helpful calling us a cab when we needed to go to the ER.

The staff here is amazing, so friendly. Hotel is clean. The only thing to budget for that is not detailed in the price, is there is several taxes, at checkout. Travelers tax, Superdome tax, and a couple of others. This is in no way reflective of the staff or property. I am writing this only to give future travelers a heads up to budget accordingly.

We had an awesome time and the staff was exceptional especially the valet Juan. He was very hospitable and helpful. We appreciate everyone for making it a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel lost my reservation. I had called and spoke to a manager at least 3 days prior to arrival and was assured everything was in order. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. The lady at the front desk told me they did have some available rooms but at a higher rate, almost $50 more a night, than I had originally booked! Do like I did and go to the Drury Inn across the road, they are great!!

The rudest staff of any hotel I’ve stayed at in New Orleans

Staff were very friendly and did an outstanding job. Complimentary breakfast was also better than most hotels.

Nice, clean, easy access to lots of places to walk. Definitely would stay again. They were short staffed when we went which was a little upsetting because we could check in until almost 45 after normal check in and we were on a time crunch but we got ready in the lobby bathroom.

Conveniently located a few blocks from the French Quarter but without the noise. Large, clean and comfortable. Very secure.

Close to French Quarter and RTA. Super large room....had a kitchen, large king bed, separate TV area. Breakfast was great too.

Location is very convenient

First time visiting NOLA, this hotel is at a great location. Close to canal street, easy bus or streetcar stations nearby. Multiple restaurants nearby and just 2 blocks away from a supermarket. Hotel amenities are great, cleaned rooms and spacious. Definitely recommend and would be staying on my next visit.

This was a good pick for us in general because if you want to be able to walk to the sights like Canal Street, Smoothie King Centre, the outlet mall and Bourbon street it is all fairly close but just outside of the French Quarter and thereby less chaotic and noisy especially during Mardi Gras time. The breakfast was not very good though and the same every day. It was also only open until 9:30 on weekdays, no exceptions! Our room was good for 3 adults with a separate sitting area and kitchenette. We did have a couple issues with housekeeping and the front desk unfortunately but again it was Mardi Gras time so things were a little crazy!! All in all I would recommend this hotel still.

This property is conveniently located in the CBD. Walking distance to the Quarter, Smoothie King Center, Ceasar's Casino and the Superdome.

Nice rooms,but there was no housekeeping during my 4 day stay&when I requested more toilet paper,I had to go downstairs to get it myself.For me that is poor customer service.They also advertise free breakfast until 930 or 10am,however if items run out an hr earlier,the food is not restocked.

Hidden fees, air not working, breakfast was bland

The breakfast menus every day was the tops. I am a big traveler out of country and in country and this is the best restaurant that I’ve had an excellent breakfast. Kudos kudos again to the cooks.

The breakfast was phenomenal! Everyday is a little different. Stayed here with my mom and two 12 year olds and really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The location was super convenient for our weekend activities, and the in-room kitchen helped us save money for some of our meals, as well as the complimentary breakfast, which was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. We stayed with our toddler, and the hotel was very family friendly. We will certainly be back!

We really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very clean and close to great places to eat or be entertained.Our room was so nice and very comfortable. The staff were all nice; especially a young lady name Cemiko that hosted the social on Wednesday night! She was so sweet and kind. Felt like I met a new friend. The social offers soup, salad, and wine. The breakfast was good, too. Also, the tall skinny dark skinned guy (didnt get his name) that works in valet was really nice too. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Loved the variety at the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Every morning they had Kings cake which was super delicious. Good walking distance to a couple of key places and the trolley was nearby to take to bourbon st. In terms of the suite, it was super clean. There were a couple hiccups like the faucet was a little broken but still able to work with and the pullout bed was barely a bed. The mattress for the pullout sofa bed was so thin you can feel the metal frame when you laid down, highkey hurts your back. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay would definitely come back. The kitchenette was pretty nice too, fully stocked.
