Hampton Inn Ruston

The hotel stay itself was nice. I had no issues. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The issue I had was after I checked out I had pre-pay for my room. They charged me three times prepaid for the prepay when I called the hotel asking about it I was told a manager would call me back the next day. I never got a call back. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Everything was excellent. The only problem was the closet door would not close so it was inconvenient to hold door down to walk to the bathroom. It appeared as if someone tried to repair it with some kind of commercial adhesive but did not do a good job. Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

Reserved a King room, arrived and were told that no king rooms were available until the next night. The hotel was not busy and there were few cars in the parking lot. The hotel itself was dirty, the state of the room was not clean or properly cared for. Water behind the toilet on the floor, dead bugs in the bathroom, what looked like mold or mildew on the walls, horrible. Would not have stayed if we had not been on the road all day and booked a non-refundable reservation.
