Came to town for family matters. Found this hotel last minute. Staff very friendly even at 11pm when we finally made it in. Rooms very comfortable with the exception of the toilet needing a little extra attention to detail when cleaned. Shower water pressure was perfect to relive stress of day. Common areas ie. pool outdoor seating, lounge very comfortable and clean. Overall when we come back to town we will be staying here again.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We loved the bar area, and Tyler was the best bartender! The room was exceptional and so roomy! There were several restaurants nearby. We loved our stay!

Very nice hotel with bar and restaurant open til 10, and lots of other options within view of the hotel including strip malls, shopping and lots of restaurants. Felt safe and property was well lit. (Got here late)

Pool looked closed but the entry is just broken. You have to reach in and open it from the inside. There was no sign and it wasn’t mentioned until we asked. Pool was great and they had towels out there and showers.

Sinks were clogged in 3 rooms. No bath wash in the shower. Toilets not cleaned due to seeing brown leftovers in the bottom of.

It wasn’t as clean as others we have stayed at. Yucky ring around the toilet bowl. Carpets were stained in places. And the elevator sounded scary! Like, it needs some attention because it sounds unsafe. But the young man at the check-in desk was amazing and so helpful!

The glass door on our shower had been cleaned down to a certain level then old dried soap scum remained. There was moldy discoloration around the edges of the shower. The hot water only got so hot. No adjustment allowed for hotter water. Mattress pad torn on one side of bed and sheet not properly applied and tucked. Had to stretch and retuck sheet on more than one occasion. Bolster pillow cover on bed carelessly applied and end of bolster exposed. Housekeeping training in order??

I love the surrounding food options & the much needed bar option. The employees were very friendly and helpful, but my room was not clean. The bathroom toliet was disgusting. The beds were not made properly. There was hair all over the floors and sink. I did call the front desk to make sure she had given me a room that had been previously service and they immediately sent housekeeping to confirm & they said the housekeeper was new & in training. That was my only complaint, but I slept peacefully after i cleaned & disinfected the room myself.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is Phenomenal!!!!! They remember your face and name whether you're a rewards member or not!!! Jessica was the desk agent during my stay. Super friendly. Super professional. Just an all around great employee. She is one of the main reasons I'll be returning

Overall stay was great. The only downfall was I ran out of hot water taking a shower twice within the first two minutes of my shower. I thought running out of hot water was a thing of the past with today’s instant hot water heaters. Other than that no complaints

The beds were very uncomfortable. We’ve stayed here multiple times in the past while traveling through. We haven’t had issues with getting a good nights sleep due to uncomfortable beds until this trip. I’m not sure what happened but friends traveling with us said the were unable to get a good night’s sleep due to their beds being very hard and uncomfortable.

The check/in was easy. Everyone was so nice. The room was fabulous. The breakfast isn’t free but it was reasonable and pretty good. The staff was beyond friendly! The environment is modern but welcoming. The shower is fabulous. We will always stay here when we come to Ruston!

This was move in weekend for area colleges in conjunction with opening weekend of football season. Check in was a train wreck. 4PM check in ended up being 6:30PM check in becuase hotel management doesn\'t know how to manage several large groups checking out and checking in on the same day along with the general public. The excuse I heard from hotel staff several times when questioned.....we\'re trying to check in the "out of state" soccer team or there\'s a football team checking out. Not my problem. What happened to check out at 11AM like the rest of us. Very disappointed in this property and will not stay here again even though I\'m a Marriott member.

This hotel is convenient to Grambling State, LA Tech universities, dining, and shopping areas. It's modern and in excellent condition. The staff were extremely heplful and polite. I will definitely visit again.

Terrific business hotel, well-located amidst good dining options. Rooms are clean and modern. We have stayed here multiple times and it is always our first option when we travel to the area. My only nitpick is the hotel's shift to the bistro-style breakfast service, which isn't terribly competitive with other local options in terms of price or quality.

Beautiful facility, comfortable bed but no coffee in the lobby was not very hospitable. There is a small coffee maker in the room but I prefer fresh brewed coffee.
