Outside was dirty and old. There was trash all thrown outside one of the rooms. Staff was unfriendly. My wife is handicap and they put us in a second floor room and never told us the elevator didn’t work.

The elevator was broken so I had to lug my toddler and suitcase up the stairs, then the key didn't work, so I had to carry it all back downstairs and up again. Immediately on entering the room there were roaches scurrying across the floor and they were all over the bathroom.

The night staff went above and beyond, really sweet lady. The day shift seemed to forget, when I had to call them on my cell phone (because the phone in room did not work) to tell them I was locked in my room!!! I told them the room number and they never showed up to let me out. I finally managed to get out, but this was the third floor, elevator was out. I am so glad the building did not catch on fire! I asked for a first floor room, was told they were booked solid and I had to take the third floor. There were only 3 cars in the parking lot and no more ever showed up on my side of the building….NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL. The room was passably clean, AC worked well. Looked like recent renovation but toilet was very stained.

Entire property appears to suffer from lack of upkeep. People yelling, talking loudly until late at night. In room, curtains unstable, mold in bathtub grout, electric socket not secured to wall, toilet didn’t work well. On plus side, there was a small bar of soap plus several charging outlets.

The room was hot, when we turned the air on water from the ac went everywhere. Mold was all over the bathroom ceiling. The fridge was not cooling. There was a cockroach in the shower. We stayed long enough to shower and get back on the road.

Door locks were worn out. Had to lift handle while using key card - like you were cracking a safe. Had to have keys reprogrammed 3x’s Kids on floor above me screaming, yelling, and running at midnight. Had to call front desk twice. Good location, property needs attention,

The walls were very thin and the noise (some man moaning loudly during sex) was not conducive to getting a good night's sleep. Plus there was some police activity in the room adjacent to mine because of an argument that was going on and that kept me up for half of the night. Technically the hotel was decent but because of the noise it was not a good situation for me.

The lady at the front desk Donta was so polite and pleasant to meet made you feel safe and welcome she went beyond her duties to make sure I was happy and I was that lady need to be recognized and she needs a raise she is amazing red roof don't lose that employee she is great

The stay sucked. It stunk so bad. Ac didnt work right. Worried about my car all night. Alot of people dirty and trashy living in hotel. Never ever again. Then we ck in get to 3rd floor by stairs because elevator was broke and the key card wouldnt work. So, i go back down so my husbamd didnt have to climb stairs again. They wouldnt replace key card becaise i put the reservation under his name. I had his wallet and everything. Finally i said he cant do the stairs so she let me cl his cell phone and he told.her sure replace the key. He was standing out stide room whole time. This ended up being a motel not a hotel. It sucked.

We were traveling on I20, and stayed at the Red Roof. Price was right and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, so perfect in that regard. We had 2 concerns. I only learned that the elevator was out of order when we arrived and we were on the third floor. She could not easily change us, so we took the stairs (we are in our 60s, so usually a change to a lower floor is a reasonable accommodation). The clerk made it sound like it would be too hard to do and they could not honor the price we already paid for the room. They also had a sign for a $50 CASH deposit, but they did not collect it, which was good since the morning shift clerk did not offer any returns. My other concern was that the water in the room was discolored. Probably old pipes. Bring water for drinking if you have it. We just went to McDonald's when we left, which was a good move since coffee service did not begin until 7:30 am.

We were traveling on I20, and stayed at the Red Roof. Price was right and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet, so perfect in that regard. We had 2 concerns.
