We drove in and had gotten the "$30 parking deal". Turns out it costs $30 to park in the public garage across the street, so paying the hotel $30 isn't really a "deal". The real problem is that we had to pay to get out of the unmanned parking garage - there's nowhere to submit your "validated" parking ticket. So we paid the hotel $30 to park and then we paid again to get out of the garage. Very frustrating situation all around. Not sure why the hotel is involved in this at all - it's a public garage across the street.

Hotel was clean, room was nice, & staff was attentive. The only problem I had was there are no microwaves on the room or common areas you can pay a 1 time $10 fee to have one brought to your room. Rate was good for two nights and I would stay again.

Great hotel with great ambiance and very friendly and accommodating staff. Good sized room with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included - beware it’s not buffet but selection of items from the menu of very tasty items - some of which we had to pay a little extra for. A shout out to Alecia who is part of the team in the restaurant who was super helpful and supportive as were all the staff we encountered at this hotel. *Top tip - sign up to become an IHG member (on their app) for benefits that include possible free room upgrade and late checkout (up to 2pm) 🙂

The hotel, staff, and restaurant were great. They have live jazz on Thursdays which was a pleasant surprise! The staff was super attentive and efficient. We had a small issue that was taken care of immediately. The area around the hotel wasn’t the best, but we felt safe in the hotel. We would definitely come back.

Good. Beautiful place. Excellent service from the front desk, housekeeping, and especially security! Super roomy, comfy. Loved the hard floors in the room. So much cleaner. However, this is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in that did not have a hair dryer in the bath. No creamers or stir sticks for in room coffee, and our coffee maker didn’t work anyway. These were problems for me, but I did not mention them to any staff

My room wasn’t cleaned properly. The floor was sticky and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The staff did switch my room but the linen was stained and the ice bucket was dirty. Everyone was nice.. the hotel needs better maintenance

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was super. The staff were friendly and responsive and even anticipated our needs. The dining room was cozy and the food was delicious. We chose to eat breakfast there twice and dinner as well. The coffee was hot and delicious and served in a nice big cup!

My trash was not emptied, they said someone would come and empty it but that did not happen until the next day. The manager did give me two drink coupons. The bathroom was not clean, maybe people had a late check out and they rushed to get the room cleaned. Hair was under the pillow case, so we went and purchased new cases and bedsheets the next day. The staff was very friendly and we loved the restaurant on site, but I would not stay again. Also, the rooms were tiny.

The hotel was lovely! There are tons of food options. My only complaint is that I did find a strand of hair on the bottom of the bed. I wish it was mandatory for housekeeping to wear hair nets. Oh, and the parking is a little tricky with the garage, bur once explained it was fine. Other then that our room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and roomy. The only thing I don’t like about these rooms is the bathroom barn door. When they are shut for use there is a gap on both sides that people on the other side can easily see through.

Our check in and check out were fantastic. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice. Our room had a funny smell when we arrived and some less dense, less puffy pillows would have been nice.

TLDR: We have stayed in over 20 hotels in Downtown Baltimore and this is by far the worst one. I strongly urge you to consider staying elsewhere. The only redeemable thing about this property is the kind bartender, Scott, who treated us with kindness and respect. The rest of the hotel staff should strongly consider a job outside of customer service. We stayed at Hotel Indigo from December 25-28. On the second night, we found dry blood stains on our pillowcase and immediately took it down to the front desk. The gentleman advised my fiance to have me call down to speak with the manager as the reservation was under my name. Upon calling, the manager, CHRISTY, answered the phone and spoke with me in a very rude tone, informing me that we had to come down and speak with her in person (despite my fiance being instructed otherwise a few minutes earlier).. Once at the front desk, Christy coldly asked "y'all packed y'all stuff up?".. We received no greeting or apology from her or the gentleman sitting beside her whom the situation was initially brought to. After some back and forth, we agreed to be moved to another room and asked Christy to put us in contact with her leadership, whom we never heard from. Weeks later, we are still blown away by the lack of professionalism and tact from these individuals. I almost didn't write this review as it's been a while since the trouble, however I feel I'd be doing all prospective guests a disservice by not sharing our terrible experience.

Great accommodations and excellent service before, during and after our stay! I called with a few questions ahead of time which were thoroughly and kindly answered. The staff quickly checked us in and were super kind. Our room was exactly what we expected, clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and had amazing food and service there. Our check out was quick and seamless and I’d definitely stay here again!

The night desk was awful. The man working the desk the night we checked in was awful. He did not tell us there was a ramp for luggage or a bellman to help. He watched two older women struggle up 6 steep steps & then didn’t even open the door for us. And the last night we were there, we returned from an Orioles Game and the garage was locked. He was rude about having to go out & open the garage and he didn’t tell us how to get out of the garage once it locked behind us or wait. There were no signs to direct. We called back the desk 2x and he just kept saying-I opened the door for you already. We told him the door we were looking through was padlocked so he knew we had not found the correct door. He gave no directions as to where to find the night exit door. We were trapped for 20 minutes. When we finally found a door we could get out if, we were hot and dehydrated. When he saw us coming in the lobby he hurried into the elevator. I asked him to stop and he got in the elevator and said no he was going downstairs and fir ed the door to close before I got there. The woman at the desk did nothing. Didn’t ask what was wrong. And the next morning when we checked out, she was still on the desk. She offered no apologies when we went through it. She didn’t say anything but to tell us when we asked what his name was-Nathan, allegedly. None of the staff wore name tags. Despite the friendliness of all other staff, the front desk made our first & last AWFUL impressions.

Unfortunately, the heating system in my room was not functioning properly throughout my stay. Despite my efforts to address this, I contacted the front desk for assistance, and while the staff member was polite and responsive, the situation remained unresolved. She sent a bellhop to assist, as the engineer never came. Unfortunately, the bellhop was unfamiliar with how to operate the new system, and the front desk later informed me that staff had not been trained on it either. The only solution offered was an extra blanket, which did little to alleviate the discomfort.

This Hotel is very close to Peabody Conservatory which has been very handy on our visits to Baltimore. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. We have stayed so many ties that they remember our names! Excellent hotel and staff!

The hotel is nice. Check in was easy, room was spacious and clean. There is a parking garage across the street. A couple drawbacks are the street is very busy can be noisy, and there is a number of homeless people sleep on the street. The homeless doesnt bother me considering I live in a city with a considerable amount of homeless people, but i can see how it could be an issue for others. The homeless doesnt hassle nor beg but they are there none the less.

Two things stood out -- the huge and fabulous corner room that would be called a suite at just about any other hotel; and an incredible breakfast, cooked to order with giant crab cakes, all lump crabmeat, as part of the best Eggs Benedict imaginable, with fried potatoes to match. Somebody there really cares about the restaurant!

I stayed three nights. My stay at the hotel was great. Room was exceptionally clean and large. I had a corner room with separate living area. Room did have a mini refrig. The food was amazing. The crabcake sliders and honey old bay wings were awesome. I traveled solo although my daughter lives there. I felt safe and secure. Walk abilility in the area is good. I walked to the inner harbor with no issues. I definitely will stay here again.

The hotel its self and employees were very nice and kind, parking wasn’t a nightmare either and just about ever you could want is with in walking distance. The food and drink however at the poets restaurant were overpriced for the quality and the bartender lied to us about the brands of alcohol, clearly they put cheap liquor back into expensive bottles. Very subpar on the restaurant. Overall I’d say a 4 out of 5.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. As were the waitstaff at the hotel. And the food was good. But the chef got my order wrong multiple times over my 10-night stay. One order, they got wrong twice. And the manager told me she was the one who was cooking and messed up that time. On my last morning, the pancakes were burnt, and I had no time to ask for a fresh batch. I was comped a meal by the hotel during the stay because of all the mistakes, but this was beyond frustrating and will definitely be a factor when I decide whether to stay at the hotel again.
