SUPER AWESOME LOCATION - loved our room with porch, seating, table and view of the harbor, across from the aquarium. Room was large! DOWNSIDES - check in at 4pm was super slow. Only one person working that evening. Long line with tired appearing travellers. Overall hotel was decent but fixtures dated, but clean enough. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Every day my husband had to call down for something and staff was very patient. On the 2nd day staff just "didn't show up" for the breakfast - but we were promised a refund for the prepaid breakfast. Something moldy was growing on the ceiling - water damage on the wall. AC units were a bit damp, but functioned well otherwise. Not sure I'd stay here again, but it I got a great deal on the stay!

Had a lovely room and walked to an Orioles game from the hotel. Enjoyable and I would book again.

I should have believed all the bad reviews, but I chose this hotel strictly for location, and for that it was great. Everything else you read in the bad reviews is pretty much stop on. When we arrived the safe was not working but they repaired that. The rooms and furnishing were dates and showing wear, and it doesn't appear much updating or maintenance is being done. We opted for a Balcony room, but when you stepped on it, it felt like you are going to fall through to the ground floor as we are only on the 2nd floor. THEN, we decide to do some sight-seeing and found that the sliding door to the "shared balcony" could not be locked as it looks like someone a long time ago had taken a crow-bar to the lock. I think 3 or 4 rooms shared this open balcony and could walk right up to your sliding door anytime. The only thing keeping it shut was a little aluminum rod. Front desk didn't have any other rooms for we were stuck, but at least we could finally put a few things in the safe. Hopefully, I can upload a photo but we will NOT be staying here again, even with the great location.
